Random fact: In 1928 a visionary Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky visited Paris for the first time and wrote a poem about the slutty, slutty time he had there, ending with:
“My dick, like a mythical tale,
Has been passed from mouth to mouth.”

Okay so a production of Hamlet that ends with “Goodnight, sweet prince,” etc. and then Horatio looks up and sees the audience for the first time and is both shocked and furious, because his world is falling apart and you sat there and watched.

Ravenclaw academia (as told by a Gryffindor):
Dunno why, but you all have really pretty handwriting but you refuse to acknowledge it. It's either illegible but looks beautiful on a page, or it's all neat and uniform.
Sitting in a particular spot to learn that's yours, where you just get lost in work or reading.
Having a rich inner world and spending just as much time daydreaming as in the real world, if not more.
Devouring information. Podcasts, audio books, library books, online articles, nothing is enough. (I also guarantee you're a master at finding where to find stuff for free)
Plastering your walls with revision notes, taking pride in seeing your hard work paying off as you feel the information beginning to stick.
Doing a bunch of extracurricular work, even if it's not in groups and you're not particularly outgoing. Online lectures, webinars, masterclasses, courses, you've tried them all.
Haunting the library, even if you don't end up borrowing a book.
Buying more books than you read until they pile up around your room.
Asking questions. All Ravenclaws I've met are the kinds of people who thoroughly understand a topic or subject before moving on. Like you're not the kind of person who uses words without knowing the definition first.
Being closed-off and seeming slightly aloof, but really flowering when it comes to discussions.
Adamantly reassuring people that getting bad marks doesn't mean that you're not intelligent, but beating yourself up when you don't meet the standard you set yourself. (Remember that you don't need to be perfect)
Loving the idea of studying, even if you don't do it much.

Gryffindor academia (pretty much just chaotic academia):
Debates bordering on arguments with your teachers but getting away with it because you're a good student
Being on the student committee and starting every point with "I feel strongly about this"
Being generally respected by everyone in the year even if you're not exactly 'popular'
Wildly competitive even if you're rubbish at sports
Spontaneous bursts of organising student events and then standing on the sidelines because you're introverted
Complaining about how much you have to do but enjoying it deep down
Recognising that the exam system is a game you have to play to get good marks
Making bad puns during presentations which only make people smile because you find them funny
Asking any and every question that comes to your mind because some people in the class are too shy to put their hand up
Forgetting your homework, having a mild panic rant to a friend but ending it with 'it's alright, miss/sir loves me so they won't care'
Having a bonfire of all your notes after dropping a subject
Revising in the most awkward ways possible, like standing on top of tables and monologuing quotes from Hamlet to remember for your exam or sticking post-it-notes on the back of bathroom doors.
The leg-bouncing thing/drumming your fingers against the table
It's physically impossible for you not to take the stairs two at a time
Saying hi and smiling at everyone in the corridor even if they look at you like you're a lunatic
Feeling that warm sense of satisfaction when one of your jokes finally makes someone laugh (even though 90% of them fall flat)
Badly summarising things in ways that somehow still work (for example, Jane Eyre is just two ugly people falling in love even though Rochester is old enough to be Jane's dad and already has a wife that he locks in his attic)
Coming out with random facts in class that are only mildly relevant to the subject matter ('ye but Edwardian women also thought tapeworms would make them thinner so I wouldn't take their word as gospel')
