It is soon Christmas ! I hope you will spend a great time during end of the year's festivities !

I don't post much anymore, you I just want to remind you I still do drawing commission on my Kofi page ! If you commission me now you can have it before Christmas !

I am starting testosterone with week ! I am super nervous and excited ! Plus, I started some months ago to save money for my futur flat AND a future mammectomy ! So all money I can have will be for these project =)

I am employed this year, but in September 2024, I will (again) start a new school (hopefully my last one). I will be a co-op student so no school fees ! And I will have a salary !

Beside that, life is pretty calm and sweet.

I wish everyone to have a peaceful end of the year <3

severus is a better person than me, bcs he could've gone on his cute death eater mask and attire, sorted james and sirius' location, crucio them a bit before murdering them, and yet he never did. people like to talk about severus as though as if he was the worst human being in hp, but he never took actual revenge on the golden boys, or they wouldn't have lived past 18 if he did, duh.

so what, sirius! did you ever die? were you damaged permanently? no???? then shut the fuck up! severus was supposed to be an expert on dark arts, surely had the means to do horrendous stuff with all his knowledge, and he still didn't, even after joining the death eaters he still had more regard for life than sirius did when he sent severus to the shrieking shack.

god, sometimes i wish severus was as awful as people think he was. the same guy who was worried for his soul if he killed the only person he appreciated, which was probably very fucking hard for him to do.

June - The Ugly Duckling

the amount of harry potter fans who don't seem to realise that pensieve memories are not biased, but completely impartial, and just show events exactly how they played out is...interesting. we know what it looks like when they've been tampered with, but other than that.

yes i am talking about marauder stans claiming that snape's memories of the bullying were biased, and that he skewered them on purpose. where is the logic. why would snape alter his memories to make james look bad when he didn't want harry looking at them in the first place. use your brain.

At this moment, an almost imperceptible smile graced his face: everything was finally coming to an end.

Once again, this is an exercise in capturing my interpretation of Snape's expression, depicting the scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when Harry returns to Hogwarts and enters the Great Hall, just before Snape is expelled by Professor McGonagall.

The composition is not mine, taken from a movie screenshot. My impression of that scene is that Snape's colours gradually fade, as if even his expression is losing its hue.

I believe that, in that moment, his heart was filled with a sense of serenity as the dust settled.

You know what’s really funny? So in The Prince’s Tale, Harry sees the first time Snape meets James and Sirius, on the Hogwarts Express. Snape has been telling Lily he hopes they’ll both be in Slytherin, and James says “who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I’d leave, wouldn’t you?”

Well, I have nothing better to do than just start over at the beginning, so I finished DH yesterday and got back around to PS today (and also can nearly recite The Prince’s Tale by memory after how many times I’ve heard it), and guess what? We’ve heard this exact line from someone else, way back in the first book. When Harry meets Draco for the first time, Draco asks what house he expects to be in, and before the confused Harry can respond, he says of course no one can really be sure of their house until they get there, but he knows he’ll be in Slytherin — could you imagine being sorted into Hufflepuff? “I think I’d leave, wouldn’t you?” Draco says.

Different houses, same prejudices, and James firmly set up as the jerk bully :)

i still find it annoying how lily evans was so underwritten that we don't get any adult friends speaking on her BUT i find it hilarious because it's definitely for a reason because the moment someone close to her speaks about her, the cat is almost out of the bag.
