this is my yearly “what do i do with this blog” moment
also hi it’s been a while since i last posted how are u all
i got diagnosed with adhd finally so that’s lovely. no wonder i never finished writing stuff LOL
i’ve also decided to post whatever i want on social media instead of hiding everything in the corner out of fear of rejection. if u don’t like me or what i post, that’s okay, i don’t mind at all. u do whatever u’d like to do and i’ll support u

idk what to do with this tumblr anymore . part of me wants to change it and make it into like a personal blog where i post whatever i want to. but then again, i don’t wanna get rid of my url. my brain worked too hard on it.
also i still enjoy the x-men and marvel and all, but i created this blog back then to connect with people i missed when i first deactivated. now i’ve realized how i was back then and it makes me cringe, so i kinda wanna forget about it?

black people, please take care of yourselves. please take care of your health. please take care of your mind. please take care of your spirit.
i understand if your soul is not at peace. i understand if you are exhausted. just, please take care of yourselves in these dark, hateful times and surround yourself with people who understand why.

Potent minimalist art sends a strong message about police and vigilante brutality in America
Journalist and artist Shirin Barghi has created a gripping, thought-provoking series of graphics that not only examines racial prejudice in today’s America, but also captures the sense of humanity that often gets lost in news coverage. Titled “Last Words,” the graphics illustrate the last recorded words by Brown and other young black people — Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and others — who have been killed by police in recent years.
Let us not forget their voices

if you can, share or donate to the official fund for george floyd’s 6 year old daughter. it was organized by the family’s legal team and shared by his best friend, so it’s legitimate. the least we can do is make sure his baby is set for life.

While the officer’s charges have moved up to second degree and the other three officers are being charged, don’t let the movement die. Our work is far from over. Black people are still far from safe and we are still far from free. However, don’t ever let people tell you that protesting doesn’t work. Don’t ever let people tell you that making noise does nothing in the end. This is history being made right in front of out eyes, but we can’t let it go now. Keep talking, keep donating, keep petitioning, keep protesting, keep sharing links, keep working. Black lives still matter!
