howdy folks, I'm a writer, artist, and animator (if you see any of my stuff posted, and not tagged or otherwise specified not to be reblogged, it's always open and encouraged to reblog)❤️. I'm also squid--inc, if you want to see my regular blog and also, if you want any info about me, follow art--inc if you want to see my other blog where i reblog other people work. I like to write action, fantasy, SciFi, adventure, (also I tend to draw gore, and horror, so there's a warning for that) shit like that. this blog will be purely for my own works, which can be be, obviously, art, or writing, occasionally a song or something, but not that often. feel free to ask about my work, you can even send me an ask if you want to request something (Although, I get to requests when I get to them). I block blogs that i think look like spam, so, sorry if I block you and you aren't spam.
my Instagram is @squidiinc same profile as this one
twitter is @Sqquuiiddiinncc also same profile.
not that anyones gonna see this, but if you're looking for an explanation, I'm tired of all the circumstances that have been happening, and while I'm going to continue making art, I don't think I'll be posting it online for a long time if ever.
didn't find a tumblr quote to put on that painting, but did come up with something while we were joking about our cat literally refusing to eat anything that isn't chicken kibble
testing out a set of paints i was gifted. it says they're watercolour, which to begin with I'm not really super familiar, but they were very goopy to work with, not very translucent for the most part, and they didn't seem to work like watercolour, but that might be because they're metalics??? anyway, i wound up topping it with acrylic black and white because there wasn't really a good black, which tracks, and the whites were too shiny, which tracks. overall I really like the outcome
not done, i still want to add a shitty tumblr quote to it (to match 'shrimps is bugs') and also want to finish adding the pattern on the side, but i painted this
working on more concept art. this one started as an adstract joke that went something along the lines of "oh, welcome to the office. avoid (idk what the fuck the joke was, it was mostly brain static). don't believe me? just ask abstract janice" but all that stuck was abstract Janice, so here
while I'm not going to post end designs, i am working on a portfolio right now, so i can post the concept art I'm going with
this one is a mermaid, and while it was done in coloured pencil, i transferred it to digital so i could see what it looked like without the red in the middle.
everytime I'm always like "who even fucking embroiders? what a lame tedious hobby." and it's meeee. I'm the one who embroiders! (a wip that will be sewn onto a frog plush, and gifted to my grandmother UwU)
