Heads up people, we’ve got a new blog for the Strayer reboot “Heirs of the Veil”.

“Heirs of the Veil”, the reboot to Strayer, will start on Halloween 2016! Starting September 30th we will upload preview character sheets, concept arts and more all over October until the start of the comic!

Hello guys! This is Jassy talking. You might be surprised to see the upper image. But I’m here to explain the situation:

Right now, Phie and me are in a position, in which working on Strayer had more or less become a chore. This is partly due to time schedules becoming irrregular, to personal illnesses, but also to the fact, that we are just not happy with our project anymore. many things have happened behind the scenes, re-writes, retcons, artistic improvement… In short: We are unsatisfied with Strayer as it stands now and decided to stop working on it…

What does this mean to you, the reader? Well, at first nothing. We do not plan to delete Strayer, at least not on Tapastic. In fact, we are planing to restructure the pages and archive all the pages uploaded until today. If there is interest in the pages that were already planed out, but will not be lined and colored, we would also upload those for you to enjoy… However we will delete the Tumblr blogs associated.

So, does this mean Strayer is dead? No, of course not. We decided to take an artistic break until August and then pick up work again for a reboot! We hope to produce a much better story and product this way and feel like this is the way we have to go…

We hope you understand our decision. Once again, thank you so much for all the likes, comments and subscribtions. They meant a lot to us and kept us going up until this day.

See you again in October…

Depends on the character. Cort definetely prefers boxers, same goes for Eleazar and Ernst. Poe prefers briefs and Victoria is okay with both.

Cort would probably main Winston (he is a Gorilla with glasses, hello!).

Eleven would main Zarya (being big and strong is really cool).

Victoria would main Zenyatta.

Ernst would main Mei (she is gentle, yet destructive).

Eleazar would main Junkrat (Ela just wants to cause mayhem), Poe would main Lúcio (I think he likes his personality).

can you tell us more about your versions of werewolves?

Thank you for your ask!

There are different kinds of wolfpeople that are considered to be werewolves. Most of the times they are human beings with the ability to transform into a wolf.

The common myth is, that werewolves transform when they see the full moon. This can actually happen, but it is debatable if this is due to actual forces considering the moon or if it is more psychosomatic.

So transformation for inexperienced werewolves can be triggered by many factors, as a full moon, the smell of blood or a rush of adrenalin. Other factors might involve wildlife or dogs. This transformation also includes loosing the sense of self for as long as it lasts.

A werewolf can learn to control their abilities, so outside factors might not influence them as much. This includes transforming at will.

The appearance of the werewolf will also differ with experience. Many of them bear wolf-like features, even as humans. With more training they are able to distinguish their forms better, so they might appear completely human in their human form and nearly like a real wolf in their wolf form.

It is also known that traumatic experiences might cause a werewolf to be stuck between their two forms.

Cort: Does not have anything against tortoises/turtles and thinks they are cute. They can’t however compare to cats in his opinion.

Eleven: Due to taking a greater liking in furless animals, she things tortoises/turtles are very cute and lovable.

Ernst: Is especially drawn to big sea turtles, but loves them all really.

Vicky: They exist. She is not really interested in them.

Poe: Likes tortoises/turtles.

Ela: Has never seen a tortoise/turtle before, but would be amazed by them.
