heyllo everyonee!! i know i promised to post everyday almost a week ago and i did not go through with it AT ALL lmaoo. so am taking that pressure off myself but i do promise to more often than before with information about how am studying as a way to have something for me to be accountable for. also the sunset from my balcony yesterday was the PRETTIEST. nature is truly so beautiful i cry :")

HEY WRITER FRIENDS

there’s this amazing site called realtimeboardwhich is like a whiteboard where you can plan and draw webs and family trees and timelines and all that sort of stuff. you can also insert videos, documents, photos, and lots of other things. you can put notes and post-its and, best of all, you can invite other people to be on the board with you and edit together!! 

this is really really awesome and a great tool for novel planning, so if you’re doing nanowrimo…. this could be good for you!!

I only got like 3.5/4 hours of sleep last night, partly because I stayed up late like a dumbass (I have to get up at 6:30am on Mondays) but also partly becsuse there were dogs barking at 3am and they woke me up.

I'm 24 with a college degree and I still feel like I need to make up for all the things I didn't get to do as a teenager.

I can say these things now that I've graduated.

I've cheated on an exam, in freshman year. Bc I couldn't remember all the stupid summary titles my professor made up for each book of the Bible.

I also plagiarized the exegetical paper for hermeneutics freshman year. A friend of mine who had already taken the class sent me his as an example bc I was struggling. I went through and edited it, fixed some spelling and grammar mistakes, and turned it in. Got a 99% on it.

Twenty-three

One day you wake up and you’re twenty-three and you can’t remember what it feels like to be seventeen but you still cry to your mother after a bad day and you look a little older but you don’t really feel it. One day you’re twenty-three and your great-aunt is telling you how mature you look and how you grew a little taller but inside you still remember sitting under the oak tree reading with no meetings tomorrow and no rent to pay and the only thing you can think about is how at seventeen you thought at twenty-three you would know everything and now you can’t remember how you got from there to here. But seventeen-year-old you was wrong because you know only some things and not everything.

You know that coffee tastes better in the mornings and your home isn’t your home anymore; it’s “Mum and Dad’s”. You know your car needs servicing every six months and groceries are harder to do after breakups. She liked cookie dough and walnuts and strawberry-flavored milk and now every time you go to the store you can’t buy spaghetti without remembering it was a Friday night and she kissed you for the first time and the heat from her skin could have set your entire place on fire. One day you’re twenty-three and you’re trying to explain to a seventeen-year-old all the mistakes you made so they won’t make them too, when all you really want is for someone to realize you still don’t have the first clue.

All my grades for the semester are in. I got straight A's, finishing my last semester of college with a 4.0, landing me on the Dean's List.

So in my five years of college I have made the Dean's List twice, been on honor roll every semester, and will be graduating with high honors.

I've spent almost 5 hours working on this paper and I've only got 3.5 pages. It needs to be at least 8 pages long and it's due Tuesday. Except I won't have time to work on it Monday or Tuesday so I have to finish it tonight.

Applying for an apartment today!!!! Eeeeee! I hope they accept our application 🤞 we have been in school, so not working full time, so I'm afraid they'll think we don't make enough money.

In other news, I only have one assignment left for the semester! A paper, a piano lesson, and my lit class. Then I am DONE.
