Since Jack visited Fire Gardens, let Hanzo visit Jack’s home aka discover for himself the grandeur of Imperial Valley

Modern verse (this verse is able to produce both heartwrenching angst and downright crack, thus here’s of either aspect):

Ryou’s past as PSIA agent aka Jack gets to him, either in the form of his nemesis aka Aku returning back from supposed death or still faithful to him mobs / zealots, but he refuses to let Hanzo get involved due to unwillingness to weight his already hectic life with another bunch of problems and fear to lose him ( he’s incredibly discreet when it comes to the matters of his past work and careful enough to vanquish his enemies without Hanzo’s awareness already, but what if seldom assassination attempts will become more frequent ??? :^) )

Ryou tests Hanzo’s power of will by challenging him to remain free of all aloud profanity for a day or few ( as former PSIA, Ryou is indeed able to make sure Hanzo won’t pronounce even a single swear word while remaining at distance aka ‘I hear everything, Hasashi…’ ), which at the end transforms into intense sexual frustration

Almost the same plot as the upward one, but with them raising a foster child and Ryou actually threatening to sock Hanzo in the jaw if he’ll dare to swear in front of their kid ( these two trying to raise a child in general tbh, cos they deserve a bit of familial happiness after all the crap that happened with them ??? )

☯ At some point of their life together, Jack brought Hanzo a kitten that grew up into majestic Maine Coon cat which strongly resembles his owner. There even some joke arisen in the clan that this cat is actually their Grandmaster’s different form that he learned to take via some sorcery, so he could watch over them even more intently.

☯ There also was the time when young Shirai Ryu got a motorcycle from somewhere and Jack, despite being a tech grandpa™, freakin’ own it by doing some tricks while driving cos of his memory and nonetheless once developed vehicle intuition. On the wordless question‘HOW ???’, clearly seen in the expressions at that day, he simply replied that riding a bike once was essential for his survival or even something sassy like ’And you thought I was joking about my journey in the future? Think again…’

☯ One of the most often sounding lullabies that Jack sings to Hanzo has the lyrics, close to this, but the song itself in Japanese ( or ever not in Japanese and actually close to this since Jack had his travelings around the world ).

☯ Although at first seemingly confusing and probably straight out weird, Hanzo fully accepted the fact that Jack absolutely cannot and won’t eat chicken once he learned that Jack got turned into the rooster and was forced to fight at the animal arena.

☯ Having a mischievous yet utterly harmless side he only shows to the people he’s incredibly close with sometimes caused Jack being actually thrown over Hanzo’s shoulder and carried away because of him acting like a smol brat he occasionally is :^)
