My first project completed during The 100 Days Project! I saw this comment in a "vaguely threatening corporate speak" video and couldn't get ot out of my mind. I had to chart it out immediately.

I've decided that (other than this 😅🤞) I'm going to work on WIP from my 100 Days. Hopefully I can work through what I have laying around to make room for other new projects!

Day 9:

I'm still a dancer even if I haven't been able go to an actual social dance since 2019. Even if I only managed to attend three classes at the start of 2022 before having to drop out. Even if I only dance in my studio before starting work, if I move nothing more than my hands, if it's clumsy or repetitive or rusty. Even if no one can see me.

I am still four years old in a home-made ribbon skirt. Ten in a pair of jazz flats. Sixteen learning my first swing out. Twenty-one stumbling into the Tango House on SE 17th and Morrison. Thirty-three in the kitchen in close embrace with an old friend.

This is still a part of me.

1) I’m pretty proud of myself for even having done 38 sketches/drawings

2) My super-janky drawing style is actually kind of endearing...

DAYS 5 & 6 of the 100 Day Project. I'm counting it as two days because I doodled on this for two days! The inks are Emerald and Cobalt Winsor & Newton inks. We are about to start packing up to move house so this project will be pretty disrupted for the next month or so. It might become just a sketch in the sketchbook project. That's still drawing, so it counts!

2&3&4/3/23 - (35-37/100)

hey<3 it's been some good, productive days.

i've been going to classes early and staying later to study. it's not perfect, obviously. i haven't gotten completed everything i wanted to and i have been sleeping a lot, but it's an improvement.

i had a conversation today with people i don't really talk to but it was an eye-opening conversation. people seem to think i'm this really smart and productive person. they think about me?? and have talked to other people about me?? i don't even think i'm even 25% productive of what they seem to think. how crazy would i be if i was?

it made me feel better too. the confidence and calmness i try to have in my everyday life really does come across, so that's something. i've been feeling pretty self-negative this week and to have a conversation like this was a blessing.

i do have an exam tomorrow for which i need to study for so i will have to stay up. (or wake up super early, but we all know that doesn't happen.)
