memories better left forgotten
i was emotionally groveling over how phos and shinsha's last moments together were tainted with anguish and sorrow... 🙂 i think it's interesting to see the progressive shift in shinsha's confidence, indicating how much their resolve grew since their first encounter with phos.
out of the two, shinsha is the only one who remembers their promise and the extent of its deep significance. between letting go of the notebook and crushing the mercury-formed figure of young phos, it felt like shinsha forcibly wanted to distance their old feelings for phos, at least the memory of the version who actively wanted to save them in the first place, in order to protect adamant.
nevertheless, i'd like to think shinsha's efforts didn't fall through considering how clearly they could recall their gratefulness to phos since the last few centuries the promise was made until the very end. ^_T

LISA FRANKENSTEIN (2024)
This movie was so fucking good. The casting, the sets, the costumes, everything was absolutely flawless. I admittedly was a little bit hesitant when I realized Cole Sprouse was one of the leads but props to him he did a fantastic job. He took this hunched up mute corpse that's full of worms and gave him so much character through expression and gestures. The portrayal couldn't have been better even if he was allowed to talk. And Kathryn Newton also absolutely nailed Lisa. She's fucking nuts and I love her. Together, their chemistry was beautiful. The humor and execution of the jokes had me laughing out loud, and seeing "beloved wife" written on the gravestone made me cry. This film has everything in it, and I am not gonna be surprised at all when it eventually becomes a cult classic. Everyone needs someone who treats them like the creature did Lisa and should never settle for anything else. Also the creature said Trans rights so terfs be fucked

I think it's super funny when I see people out there treating ADHD and autism as if it were this cutsy personality trait quirky teens have and being portrayed all wrong because, like, my 50 year old father has both I can't help but laugh imagining him acting like those tiktoks

Sometimes I forget that anime only bsd fans are a thing. How do you watch a show like that and not become obsessed? Like, do they know what’s about to happen? Are they aware of the absolute emotional turmoil they are about to witness? I’ve been in the trenches for YEARS and people are just out there…blissfully unaware
