My Original Sonic (and first) Character:
Lunar Andhera
The Moon's Reincarnation.
Physical Appearance:
Species: Arctic Wolf.
Fur: White.
Eyes: Cyan.
Lunar Andhera the Arctic Wolf was born in the southeastern Islands of Bion, where she was raised in the Moon-Howls Tribe consisted of spiritual, green cultured wolves.
The Moon-Howls culture of Green 'Magic' has lived up for centuries. It is most known for them to borrow from Mother Nature and give back to her by replanting as a sign of their gratitude to her. They've used many herbs, leaves, and flowers (including their petals and pollen) to make medicine for the weak and ill, including the poor. Moon-Howls are dedicated to helping all the people within their tribe in hopes to keep their economy stable.
However, while using Mother Nature to guide their ways of life, they have averted from ever using the mystical arts of magic within the green. Magic was solely forbidden from the tribe as well as the three others (Sun-Yaps, two unknown others at this time) mainly because of the condition that it can affect and harm people through powerful emotion triggered.
A connection to this were the Ancients of the past. How they used the eight Crystals of Power to bring world balance between technology and organic life (including nature's elements). The Ancients disappeared long ages after developing their work, and only some remains of the ancient life began to spread about what had most likely happened to them, most revolving around the Crystals' power. It is said that the Crystals have a sole connection to the ancients and the body of each user, which included their emotions, health, and thoughts. With this eternal bond, the crystals could manifest and manipulate those emotions into power, therefore, spreading chaos and imbalance to world harmony. Within those years after the Ancients disappeared, those who have followed the great ones made sure to never allow use of the Crystals again and hide them away, with only certain people who are trusted enough to keep them from society. Any who were caught using magic within the current tribes were to be killed on spot.
Then, Lunar was born.
Mates, Liana and Runnan Andhera wanted to bare a child of their own to live up their name and to love ever since they fell for each other. However, it took a long time for this to happen. Runnan was one of the Moon-Howls finest warriors, and Liana was a medicine she-wolf to assist the weakened. This sense of duty for their tribe has brought them together while also straining the time they'd wish to have for maintaining peace.
When they were finally able to bare their child, however, their happiness had been ultimately delayed to discover their child held magic! The small cub was nothing like her parents. Unlike her mother (who had a light grey coat and grayish blue eyes) and her father (who had black fur and bright blue eyes), she had fur white as snow, and eyes that held a bright cyan that could possibly glow in the dark. An important trait that shocked both mates were the black markings on the cub's arms, and the fact they were glowing in a blue color underneath the moonlight.
While both parents knew what the consequences to having any source of magic in hand (even if it meant a child born to it as well), they didn't want to kill a child they wanted so desperately. They have waited for so long to have a child that the moment of one having magic wasn't something they cared about than they realized. With a (foolish) trust of instinct, Liana and Runnan confronted the tribe's leader for assistance, pleading the ruler to spare their daughter's life. The Leader refused, and sought death upon the newborn cub.
That moment changed when the leader is met with a powerful, immortal ancient known as Alatar the Great. This ancient had watched over the tribe and arrived in time to prove the family's innocence, that the child is demanded to be spared. A shocking discovery to his reasons was that the cub was none other than a reincarnation of a former ancient!
A reincarnation of Xelune.
Xelune was known as the Moon Ancient, for her bond to the Moonstone and its mystical spirit and energies that revolves the moon's influence. Out of the rest, this ancient was peaceful, wise, and quite a compassionate individual at heart to others and herself, giving her teachings of Mother Nature and the struggles of life itself. She too among the rest of the ancients, disappeared and had been presumed dead.
To prove this discovery to be true, Alatar points out the markings on the cub's arms. Those marks read an ancient text that related to Xelune's oath as a Crystal Guardian. Not only does this make the child a reincarnation of an ancient the Moon-Howls have looked up to, but also proven that she would soon be the new protector of the Moonstone that had been hidden within the tribe for many years.
With these accurate reasons aside, the leader spares the family's cub and leave the mates at peace. There was a price to this. The Leader forbids the cub to ever be seen on tribe grounds until her thirteenth year of the Full Moon Festival. In this oath to isolation, Alatar offers to help the family by training the cub of her potential so she could be ready for that time to come, which the leader has suggestion to as well.
With that, the Andheras were relieved to know that child would be safe and living on for greatness.
Or so they thought it would be easy.
Even at a very young age, Lunar had grown in the teachings of mystical arts and the spiritual culture of her hometribe. She learned to be in tune with nature, how to have patience even in the most hardships. She loved her mentor and her parents with all her heart, and held their lessons close.
That didn't mean she didn't approve of her family expectations either though. Lunar held a fond fascination to the knowledge of her Tribe that she wanted to see the home she lived in herself. She had to be isolated for her sake, and she had come to understand that. It had irritated Lunar to where she would sneak off without parent supervision. She was caught numerous times, and had been punished for her actions (but not in that kind of harshly manner. That is against their honor code.). This didn't stop the young cub, as there were times she had been successful to get closer peeks of the tribe and its beauty without being seen by other civilians.
One day, when Lunar had snuck out to gain another view of the tribe when she had come across an alarming sight: A young wolf cub was being harassed by other young cubs. The elder ones were trying to steal the younger ones belongings. Learning to trust her instincts, the young she-wolf stepped in and defended the youngling and fended the boys off. In the process of this, she had accidently used a small illusion of a spider to scare them off in front of the boys. The boy wasn't afraid of this though, and was actually grateful for her help. This caught Lunar off guard. She figured people would be this easy to fear her mystical power, as it was partially something she was taught. But this boy wasn't afraid. He was thanking her.
Upon her talk with the cub named Ski, she had realized at the time that he was sick. He was an orphan living alone after his parents died at his third year of age. So, Lunar was devoted to help him by gathering her own belongings and allowing him to use them while taking herbal medicine for his cough. This was a rather rare form of kindness to Ski, as no one had been there to help him for years. It was different to see that this she-wolf was offering her own thing for him to feel better. The girl held no shame for her actions and stayed with him to make sure he was well.
From then...a friendship was born.
Lunar frequently visits Ski to make sure he was well while also keeping up with her training sessions with her family. It was difficult for her dealing with those tasks all at once, but she managed to handle them with a relaxed demeanor. As long as it meant for her loved ones to be happy. It was only later when she introduced Ski to her mentor that she found out he was Alatar's great-great-great-great-nephew. With a bit of conviction and plea, Runnan and Liana accepted Ski into the family, forming a sister-and-brother bond between them.
Years went on, and Lunar had been in better success. She had proven great proficiency in mystic arts (guided by Alatar), weapon or hand-to-hand combat (by her Runnan), and medicine healings (by Liana) and was able to react faster than many. It would only be a little longer for her to meet her people face to face. She didn't seem to care much. She had her family and mentor who had her back, especially her adoptive brother, whom she counts on for funtimes.
When Lunar had prepared for her thirteenth year to attend the Full Moon Festival in front of the tribe and Moonstone at present, she would be face-to-face with the people of her home, including the leader. The people around her were unleaded at first, but they noticed how much of a key to hope she was upon her discovery as a reincarnation. Lunar couldn't be more happier now she didn't have any further limits. She could finally be able to free herself and be happy in her home.
Then---Disaster struck.
The Moon-Howls were under attack by a invasive force of dark power that was destroying in its path. Greatest warriors fought valiantly, but they weren't enough against the opposer. Including Runnan, who was disintegrated right after Liana right before Lunar's eyes. By Alatar's command, the apprentice was forced to take the Moonstone and flee with Ski away from the tribe to a safer area, only to be chased after in chaos.
Lunar and Ski were then trapped by a cliff where the ocean below was there end. The Dark being, who appeared to be a hedgehog cloaked in darkness cornered them. Right as the creature would strike for the she-wolf, Ski takes the blow and sacrifices himself to save his adopted sister. She was forced to watch as the cub disintegrated right before her very eyes before she was crashed into the ocean and lost consciousness. Gone from then to never see her tribe again.
The Moonstone had managed to seek a bond with Lunar as she was drowning in the waters, and saved her life in that process. She washed ashore on a beach where she was found a by a group of mobians known as Team Sonic. They took her in after they found she had no place to go, and after recognizing her powers, allow her to join on their heroic adventures to save world from the villainous Doctor 'Eggman' Robotnik!
Reincarnated from the Moon Ancient, Xelune, Lunar posses vast mystical power over the spiritual realm and all of the moon's energies. The limits to her powers are rather uncertain, as her umbral abilities go far to the extent of its control over fluids and the effect of gravity it poses.

CONNECTIONS:
💚 (Familial):
Ski the Wolf (Adoptive brother/friend: An orphaned pup, Lunar's family took him in—both had a fairshare of loneliness throughout the years. The light to her shadows).
Liana Andhera (Biological Mother: Healer and seductress, she taught Lunar how to fool the eyes to her advantage).
Runnan Andhera (Biological Father: A Moon-Howl warrior, he encouraged Lunar never to give up, even for the hopeless of war).
Xelune (Ansestor: One of her previous reincarnations, Lunar was guided under her voice throughout the years. Having her ancestor feel her every step does tend to become embarrassing sometimes).
💔 (Complicated):
Xelune (She does tend to be more personal than logical in her training, which has proven to concern Lunar about her own mentality).
Vendi (GGG–Grandmother: While an admirable mentor, she was a coward. And a hypocrite. It made Lunar wonder why she had her as a mentor to being with...).
💘 (Love Interest?):
Shadow the Hedgehog (Close Friend: Lunar learned they had much in common, being mobians destined for greatness but fell to ruin—it was something she could relate to and find most comfort with. Plus, Lunar admired Shadow's rather determined nature and his mysterious aura).
💛 (Friends):
Sonic (Best Friend: Sonic had always brought encouragement to live life to the fullest. Something Lunar (and a few of her past lives) admired).
Tails (Friend/Half–Cousins: Lunar believed in Tails' capabilities and saw him as a child full of potential. He reminded her too much of Ski for comfort...).
Knuckles (Friend/Mentor: Both of them had their fairshare of similar ancestral lines and being trained warriors of their tribes. Oftentimes, you'd see them training to harness their flaws together).
Amy Rose (Close Friend: Lunar did find herself at unease with Amy before, as she wasn't used to such actively passion she emitted. But she came to warm up with the other with assurance. They'd typically bond over romantic genres and test with Tarot Cards for fun).
(To be continued...)
