Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to various players from the basketball team and to their wonderful families:

Jeffery Taylor and Trey Thompkins both came to the club in 2015 and have won many trophies with Real Madrid, the most important one being the Euroliga in 2018. They are now leaving, with their wives and kids, Evelina Andersson, Vincent, Olivia and Isabella (Jeffery) and Tyrie Scott, Charlotte and Avery (Trey)

Thomas Heurtel was one of the last players to join the team. His time in Madrid was more complicated, and probably not what he expected and we already have to say goodbye to him, his wife Melisa and their children Catherine and Lucas.

But the most unexpected goodbye is the one we have to give to our fantastic coach, Pablo Laso, his wife Ana María Tejero and their sons Oscar and Axel. Pablo came to the club in 2011 and managed to become one of the best coaches of Real Madrid history, winning nothing less than 22 trophies, among them 2 Euroliga in 2015 and 2018. But the heart attack he suffered on July 5th leaded the club to end his contract sooner than it was planned.

I wish them all the best for their future!

Grytviken

Hamlet in the South Georgia Island, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

Grytviken is a hamlet on South Georgia in the South Atlantic and formerly a whaling station and the largest settlement on the island. It is located at the head of King Edward Cove within the larger Cumberland East Bay, considered the best harbour on the island. The location's name, meaning "pot bay", was coined in 1902 by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition and documented by the surveyor Johan Gunnar Andersson, after the expedition found old English try pots used to render seal oil at the site. Settlement was re-established on 16 November 1904 by Norwegian Antarctic explorer Carl Anton Larsen on the long-used site of former whaling settlements

Along with the surrounding area, the station has been declared an Area of Special Tourist Interest (ASTI).

Grytviken is a popular stop for cruise ships visiting Antarctica, and tourists usually land to visit Shackleton's grave. The South Georgia Museum is housed in the manager's house of the former whaling station, and is open during the summer tourist season.

The station's church is the only building which retains its original purpose; it is still used occasionally for services. There have been several marriages in Grytviken, the first being registered on 24 February 1932, between A.G.N. Jones and Vera Riches.

On 28 January 2007, a service was conducted in remembrance of Anders Hansen (a Norwegian whaler buried at Grytviken Cemetery in 1943) and to celebrate his great-great-grandson Axel Wattø Eide's baptism occurring in Oslo the same day.

Music: Eric Nordgren.  Molière, Mozart, Byron, Pushkin, Kierkegaard, Shaw, and Camus have all had their go at Don Juan, so why not Ingmar Bergman? This rather turgid and talky fantasy has the Don (Jarl Kulle) returning to Earth to seduce Britt-Marie (Bibi Andersson), a young woman whose virginity has caused a proverbial sty in the devil's (Stig Järrel) eye. That so much ado is made about the virginity of a woman about to be married in 1960's Sweden is only one of the problems with the movie's setup. She's the daughter of a vicar (Nils Poppe) in a small Swedish village whose wife, Renata (Gertrud Fridh), feels neglected and has sunk into a psychosomatic invalidism. When Don Juan arrives, he brings along his manservant, Pablo (Sture Lagerwall), who takes it on himself to seduce Renata. What starts out to be a sex farce turns into a disquisition on the nature of love. It's not helped by the archness of some of the performances, especially Andersson's. She's made up and costumed to look like the heroine of an early 1960s domestic sitcom like The Donna Reed Show, and it's hardly plausible that she should choose her goofy fiancé, Jonas (Axel Düberg), over the brooding but intelligent Don. Bergman clashed with his longtime cinematographer Gunnar Fischer during filming, putting an end to their collaboration but opening the way to an even more fruitful one with Sven Nykvist.
