This was an opportunity to mess around with this really neat brush I found, plus some other things. It was honestly super fun! I also may draw Evanna like this more often, I really like this outfit on her.

Rough Idea as to what Queen Fera’s design will be. I imagine her to be very emotional and easy to provoke, and being quite good at dealing with situations under pressure. And I think the wing pattern will be a family sort of thing, kinda like how Evanna’s family all has red hair unless they marry or are adopted into the family. Definitely gonna play with her outfit a bit more, though.

Anyway! I’ve been doodling her in my notes for awhile and figured it was time for me to actually do something like this 😅

OC Portraits - Leona

Me? Drawing Leona looking sad?? Almost a guarantee at this point.

Anyway!! I’m pretty happy with this. I drew something similar of my farmer from Stardew Valley(which you can find @moonfallen-farm) and it made me want to draw all/most of my OCs in a similar style. So I started with Leona! In one of her first outfits too, since she would wear just really large clothes while getting her job done

Also I found a feature on MediBang that is?? So helpful??? And fun????? So I wanted to use it in the background and I think I actually like this a bit more than the portrait of Max

To Love, To Kiss, To Sweetly Hold

I actually really really love this!!! It was a lot of fun to do, though I do see a few flaws but that’s fine, not that important and I’m too lazy to try and fix. But really, they were super fun to draw together and I love all three of them and y e a h. Jeremiah’s hair gets longer each time I draw him and Dani always has a new design piece(this time it’s his necklace-). Who cares about consistency anyways?

Also! Title of this are lyrics from “For the Dancing and the Dreaming” from HTTYD 2! Whenever I listen to the song I think of these three 😅 I also just really adore the song

The Sydney Kids!

Left -> Right : Jayden, Max, Taylor, Olivia

I actually had a lot of fun drawing them- Olivia especially for some reason! Taylor’s obviously the oldest, then Max, Jayden, and finally lil’ Oli.

Some ramblings because I had a lot of time to think about these kiddos:

Max’s marks are actually scars from a previous home that had been burned down, the scars litter their back and right side

Jayden had needed to get his left leg amputated not long after adoption, and ended up getting a prosthetic that he let Olivia design(with Marie’s help)

Jayden is actually a dancer, and Max is a huge theatre nerd

Olivia is jealous of Taylor and how many adventures she gets to go on, but loves when Taylor visits home and tells her about all of said adventures

Olivia is mute

Max takes a liking to Leona very fast when she joins the family, and they bond over a love for space

Jayden is the first to meet Taylor’s boyfriends and, much like Taylor, didn’t really like them at first. But they quickly grew in his favor

Olivia and Neva are around the same age(Neva’s slightly older), and Neva teaches Olivia how to make all sorts of cute little crafts

Jayden is the only guy besides Kord within the Sydney family

Jayden also got into a fight with Kord not that long after his adoption when Kord constantly misgendered Max.

Both Max and Olivia can’t stand the sound of clanking metals/glass, so the others wait to do dishes until they’re both out of earshot to not make them uncomfortable

Max wants to be a director when they’re older, and they have a fondness for animation

At school, Jayden and Max are attached at the hip. Max is actually the more confident of the two, but is easily flustered

Jayden is only really confident with family, really close friends, or while he’s dancing

He really enjoys ballet of all the dance styles he’s done

Olivia has no caution, and it’s not just because she’s six. She just doesn’t fear much. Except cats. She’s petrified of cats. Reasons are unknown to the rest of the family

Past families they’ve all been with have celebrated Christmas, but after being adopted by Marie and Christmas not really being celebrated, none of them really minded. It was just fun to be with the entire family. Olivia did miss the presents at first but she quickly forgot about them when Mama Amelia told her some very interesting stories each year

Christmas in the Sydney home is incredibly hectic. Since Kord, Chloe, and Neva go to Marie’s, along with Mama Amelia, Grandma Jules, and Grangran. Then Leona is introduced to the family. And then Dani and Jeremiah. Leona and Marie both have dogs, by the way, that are there as well.

Summers are similar to the chaos that ensues around the holidays, only it’s all at a beach for two weeks

For context : Deathstriker(prisoner) was the leader of Tempest and was put into prison for a life sentence after conducting horrendous experiments on herself and hundreds of others. Jeremiah was an engineer in Tempest, and had more minor experiments tested on him, but they left awful memories.

This is the first time they’ve met in a few years, and when Jeremiah was an engineer, he hadn’t transitioned. So seeing “Pup” like this is new to Deathstriker, especially since, like Leona, Jeremiah was a constant in Deathstriker’s life in Tempest.

Decided to create a cover thing for Cinomed Chronicles! This was super fun to do, and I’m actually very, very proud of this! I still absolutely love Aki in this, and I can’t wait for y’all to see more of his character outside of the prologue. And I can’t wait to actually write about Leona and Marie! Gotta go through the beginning of Evanna’s story first though before that can happen
