I really implore fans of media (whatever media it is you enjoy) to understand why a story is told in the way it's told. Even bad stories have a structure and a meaning and if you know the basis of how stories are structured and how the characters fit into that structure, the more you're going to be able to understand the story and better enjoy the characters as a whole.

What is an Antagonist? An opponent, villain or Rival.

The Villain is a person whose intentions are morally corrupt or anti-human and most off deliberately harmful to those around them.

(ie. Thanos from Avengers, Billy and Stu from Scream, Henry from Stranger Things)

The Anti-Villain is a person who commits corrupt, unjust or morally wrong actions in the belief that they are doing the right thing.

(ie. Magneto from X-Men, Killmonger from Black Panther, Jason Carver from Stranger Things)

The False Antagonist is a person who's viewed by the audience or the characters as a antagonist, but through the story shows themselves to have been falsely labeled as an antagonist or a villain.

(ie. Severus Snape from Harry Potter, Alexei and Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things)

The Hidden Antagonist is a person who's intentions are not shown to be corrupt until later in the story, leading the audience and the characters into a false sense of security.

(ie. Senator Palpatine from Star Wars, Agatha Harkness from Wandavision, Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco)

The Inanimate Antagonist is a non-human force that can be anything from the weather to an illness or an object like a meteor or a car.

The Inner Antagonist is when the main character is their own Antagonist, fighting against themselves through the story.

(ie. Drug use, mental or physical illness, change in morals, desires vs needs)

The Hero Antagonist is a person who's intentions and morals are not corrupt, but they act against the Protagonist in the story.

(ie. The Roadrunner from Looney Tunes, Carl Hanratty from Catch Me If You Can, The Parents of Stranger Things)

No Antagonists is a type of story where there is no direct force working against the Protagonist. This can often be shown as someone living day to day life or there is an unclear singular force working against them.

Stories can often have and most often do, have multiple Antagonists. Some stories use these different types of forces to put even more pressure on a Protagonist and to give depth to the stories they are writing. Often times, nothing is cut and dry when it comes to a persons intentions in a piece of media, but knowing what sort of force they are within the story they are written in can help you understand the Protagonists journey on a even deeper level.

What is a Protagonist? A lead character, hero or heroine of a narrative.

The Hero Protagonist is a person who's goals are often viewed as courageous, admirable or charitable in nature and often requires a sacrifice or change in order to achieve their goals.

(ie. Captain America from Avengers, Superman from DC Comics, Frodo Baggens from Lord Of The Rings)

The Anti Hero is a person who's actions or morals may be honorable or good, but their actions go against those morals due to necessity or irresponsibility but in the end the audience is rooting for them to win.

(ie. Deadpool from Marvel Comics, Batman from DC Comics, Kali from Stranger Things)

The Tragic Hero is a Hero Protagonist that throughout their journey are corrupted by either surrounding forces or by a fatal flaw within their own character, leading them to fall from the Hero status they once held.

(ie. Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars, Jason Todd from DC Comics)

The Passive Protagonist is a person who's actions are not the leading force of the story, the driving actions of their journey are controlled and moved by other characters and forces in the story.

(ie. Forrest Gump from Forrest Gump, Karl Childers from Sling Blade, Will Byers from Stranger Things)

The Villain Protagonist is a character who is still the focus of the story, but they are not necessarily being cheered to win. These types of characters are often a window into the darker side of life whether we sympathize with them in the end or not.

(ie. Dexter from Dexter, Gru from Despicable Me, Loki from Loki, Walter White from Breaking Bad)

The Protagonist itself does not automatically mean the character is a good person and it's important to remember that when reading or writing. A protagonist is simply the Main Character, the person who the story's focus is about and people themselves are deep and involved people with lives that are different from every other person around them even in small ways.

Understanding a characters role in their story is important for understanding the character on a base level.

I highly recommend watching other videos from that channel and other media analysis channels as the more you know on how to understand a story, the more you will get out of the stories you entertain yourself with or create.

Since I started getting more into Marvel I made a bunch of OCs for the media, and with time I created a whole universe to insert them in the stories. So I'm gonna start posting here my personal time-line.

Tinky Winkynos VS Everyone

I planify a polling series about Tinky Winkynos, a villain character who is the fusion between Tinky Winky (Teletubbies) and Thanos (Avengers).

I have got the idea following the @purpleboytournament.

I wish make Tinky Winkynos fighting against a maximum of possible fictional characters from different franchises (it can be against entire franchises).

The action: Tinky Winkynos invades the targeted suggested franchise. You must vote for the side of your choice.

The rule: You can help him conquer or you can stand against him by voting.

The result at the end of the poll will decide the fate of the universe(s) issue of his conquest(s). If The Mad Teletubby wins with more 50% of votes, he succeeds his conquest. If the franchise (TV show, video game, movie, novel, etc) wins 50%, the invasion is repelled.

Gravity Falls was actually the battlefield between Agamotto & Bill, which the mystery is caused by their remaining magical power from the fight.

Ultron has full on invaded New York as a state and has used the Mind Stone for advanced technology to take control of other superheroes in New York and Avengers Tower. Doctor Strange comes to their aid and tells them the situation about tearing realities. Ultron agrees to truce with Thanos and MODOK, (if they promise to give him Earth after they're done with their plans) then shove Deadpool and Iron Man into the gateway which sends them in front of Dante's office. Loki also arrives to Earth, commanding the Chitari, and possessing the Mind Stone in his spear. Ultron then appears with his minions, hearing about the shattering of the stone. Soon after, Chris Redfield follows her out. This causes worlds to collide and out the gateway comes waves of zombies, and Jill Valentine. MODOK fires it up and strains the stone, resulting it to shatter. He brings the stone to MODOK which he puts into a new invention of his which can open gateways to other universes. Thanos breaks into the tower soon after and successfully steals the stone, defeating Deadpool & Iron Man. Deadpool "BAMF"'s behind Tony and warns him of Thanos' return to earth. At the moment, Tony Stark is in possession of the Reality Stone and he is in Avengers Tower working on new suits. He knows that the Avengers are able to defeat him so, he gains the help of MODOK to help him gain the one stone he needs for his plan to work. But, Thanos is determined to do more than necessary, this time around. He then claims he will gather the Infinity Stones again but, Lady Death is not impressed with his party trick since he has done this too many times before. Thanos walks into her domain soon after the conversation ends and is angered at the sight of the merc. The campaign first takes place with Deadpool visiting Lady Death and having flirtatious dialouge. The game will be developed by Capcom and will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This updated version includes even more characters and other game modes to play as well. MARVEL VS CAPCOM: INFINITE CRISIS Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite Crisis is a redefined rendition of Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite with the same mechanics as MvC: Infinite as well.

The camera then cut of Deadpool's room while playing with some figures. Black Panther is then seen beatboxing while fighting some of Thanos's creatures. Black Panther then take off his mask and beatboxes across Wakanda. Black Panther then stated that Deadpool got blacklisted by Mister Xavier with Mark XLIV saying ''This is how you do it''. Bland Al is seen dancing with Deadpool being confused. Black Panther is then seen in Wakanda, stating that Deadpool has no flavor. Deadpool's cake says ''This is how you do it''. Mark XLIV then says ''This is how you do it''.īlack Panther is then seen making a cake for Deadpool. Black Panther is then seen in Wakanda with his tribe and Mark XLIV, saying "I feel the love and that's all because". Black Panther then points at a gargabe truck drove by Colossus stating that Deadpool should pack up his stuff and throw it in the truck. Black Panther then throws a luggage at Deadpool, and says that he has to get a move on and that he doesn't play. Black Panther then stated that nobody wants to be on Deadpool's side and that his "puny" X-Force can't go against his tribe. Black Panther is then seeing dancing with The Past Kings of Wakanda, Black Panther then points at Deadpool, who is about to burn, stating that this isn't the first time he's burning up. Black Panther then points on Deadpool saying that he will lose the fight. Verbal Ase breaks the tension, and lets Black Panther go up first.īlack Panther is first seen beatboxing unmasked saying "this is how we do it." Black Panther is then seen transforming and jumping on the ring, blowing Deadpool and Verbal ASE away. Deadpool is then seen with X-Force in volleyball outfits, telling Black Panther that he's gonna get served. Black Panther asks what even is X-Force, stating it sounds like a high-school volleyball team. Black Panther ignores this, stating that Deadpool stole Wakanda's salute for their X-Force team. This confuses Verbal Ase because ever since Black Panther first came to the ring, he wanted to be named T'challa. T'challa asks to prefer to be named as Black Panther. Verbal Ase then introduces Black Panther as T'challa, the king of Wakanda. Verbal Ase then tries to introduce Black Panther, but gets interrupted by the Dora Milaje, pressuring him to say his real name. Verbal Ase now knows why they're so burnt. Verbal Ase states that they're burnt, but Deadpool says that he got the recipe from Thanos. Verbal Ase asks what he is doing, with Deadpool responding that he's just making Marvel cookies. Deadpool grabs a flamethrower and burns them. Verbal Ase first introduces Deadpool to the ring, who is currently making Marvel cookies. Inside is Penny Penny from Pennywise Vs Patrick. Patrick responds, saying he can look into his belly button. Verbal Ase closely tells Patrick nobody can see their own face. Verbal Ase tells him he already gave one to him, and he can even see it on his face. Verbal Ase tries to continue the episode, but Patrick interrupts him, asking if he could get a krabby patty. Verbal Ase gives a krabby patty to Patrick, and Patrick says he will eat it now. After the intro, Verbal Ase welcomes everyone to the 14th episode of Cartoon Beatbox Battles, and reveals that Patrick will be going on to the Final round.
