"So what do they give you this Order for?" said Austin Grey. "Fornication?" And hooking his fingers beneath it, he ripped the sash from Lymond's shoulder. The little glove also pinned there fell with it. "With my wife?" said Francis Crawford.
Checkmate, oh Checkmate...
(the glove falls off before their brief fight, but Austin is the enemy, isn't he? "Do you keep it, M. Crawford. For someone truly dangerous.")

You left some cards here which I shall carry with me on Monday_ it would be a pity that these memorials of our earlier years should be lost, & that Posterity should not be able to form an opinion of you from your own confessions in the year 76.
Francis Kinloch to Johannes von Müller, in an undated letter (likely written around June 23, 1804)
It's always interesting to read a line like this and realize that we are part of a long line of history lovers who have preserved those memorials and are allowing posterity to form an opinion on Johannes von Müller almost 250 years later

Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
[Episode One] First Impressions.
introducing Adrian King by @hauntedtrait!
i think i legit took about 75+ screenshots of adrian (half of them with his everyday outfit on bc i got so distracted by his face) just because he's so damn gorgeous dkfdk. he and dan got along really well despite their opposing impressions: they are a part of the amazing compatibility group! adrian was confident for the entire conversation, and i think his sense of self really made a good impression! dan is a quiet smoker, he doesn't really publicize his ~herbal remedies~ but it's hard not to like a guy who prides himself on his edibles ;)
meanwhile henry (daniel's agent) is bemoaning ever trying to get him not to talk about ouid ever on national goddamn television
Part 19/21 | part 5/7 of House Three’s introductions!

When was Bobbi pregnant?
on panel? never. but in secret invasion #2, it was retroactively made so through dialogue. clint tests whether a supposedly returned bobbi, who was supposed to be dead (oops she wasn't), is a skrull (oops she was) by asking something only bobbi would know bc they never mentioned it to anyone else (narratively covering your ass: successful)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(now, trying to ask "something only they would know!!!" as a test for a skrull seems kind of dumb when the high-level infiltrators end up getting all the memories of who they're impersonating, but clint didn't know that at the time so we'll cut him some slack)
chronologically, the pregnancy would have occurred before the real bobbi was kidnapped by ultron, thus at some point during bobbi and clint's tenure as west coast avengers. as to narrowing down when...i suppose the simplest guess would be "early on," before they started fighting and separated--but since they kept reconciling in other titles that ran concurrent with them arguing (and also reconciling) in WCA...well you could really go with whenever. although the fact that skrull bobbi thinks it's been a year since she's been off-earth, in conjunction with the miscarriage being "a few years ago," implies that it wasn't during the later issues of WCA and lends more credence to it being earlier on / pre-separation

Actually, I'd really like to use Tumblr as an additional platform to post and spread my Terror fanfiction, because it's been my main form of creativity for the last two years, and I have a lot of works, including a very lengthy one that could be considered a whole novel itself.
The problem is that none of them have been translated into English (at least not completely, though I've made attempts and even started posting some of them on AO3).
And the trouble is that the amount of work to do is too great, and I simply don't have time for anything.
Plus, I don't have very popular pairings.... Okay, Franklin/Fitzjames. How about Crozier/Franklin?! Yeah yeah yeah, that's my main pairing, live with it, hahahahaha)))))

Mulcahy Music Monday
In "Your Hit Parade" (s06e18) Potter: "Ah, "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You. " They're playing your song, Father." Mulcahy: "Well, actually, I requested 'Tico, Tico'. But this is very nice too."
"The song “Tico-Tico,” an enduring international hit, passed the century mark two years ago; it was composed in 1917 by Zequinha de Abreu, a Portuguese émigré to Brazil." Ethel Smith played "Tico-Tico" on the Hammond organ in the 1944 film Bathing Beauty (which I like to think may have been what Mulcahy was thinking of).
But he could also have been thinking of the 1947 Marx Brothers movie Copacabana, the “Brazilian Bombshell” Carmen Miranda sang it opposite Groucho Marx.
"But in Brazilian music, which does not exile pop forms from classical traditions, “Tico-Tico” is actually a choro — a song form that typically shrugs off misfortune with good humor, good tunes and fast tempos. The title refers to a bird that got into the cornmeal, but we can imagine the same kind of grousing over morning coffee at the office. “Tico-Tico”’s catchy, emphatically syncopated rhythm is irresistible, and still lends itself to virtuosic arrangements for every conceivable solo instrument and ensemble, from finger-tangling guitar transcriptions to full-on symphonic arrangements. As with Viennese waltzes, the critical challenge is to capture that elusive rhythm with orchestral precision." Berlin Philharmonic
Also, just for Charles Emerson Winchester III: "Theo Degler (accordion) and Robert Frank (piano) play their version of Zequinha de Abreu's famous piece 'Tico-Tico no Fubá'.
We so seldom hear about Father Mulcahy's actual preferences on music - the nearest we have other than "Tico-Tico" is the Korean war song he composed in "Dear Uncle Abul" (s08e12)
