Aaaaaaah I’m so HAPPY!! I beat Demon tower on mobile which was very hard but I did it! I usually want to make sure to finish the game before the third band practice because then I can talk to Angus about it and he’s so very sweet.

This game is hard! But rewarding!!

Demontower would be a lot less infuriating if it could just save before bosses. Please just. I've done the level don't make me do it all over again just because I can't survive a lava spewing monster with only four lives on the first go

It took me a very long time to beat Demontower (and all because Angus said "we'll talk about it!" but that unlockable dialogue wasn't even in the original version I played ;;). Having revisited it recently it's the moats of blood/lava that I most struggle with. The hitbox just feels off. Once I get past the boss that leaves a trail of that stuff, that's the hardest part done for me. If you're not done with it yet, best of luck!

Yeah while the blood rivers weren't the worst part for me, they were definitely still a major nuisance. Dashing over them is so unnecessarily precise, and the sheer amount of them in level 7 absolutely contributed to how annoying that stage was. For me though, what really gave me trouble were the fire enemies (those can fill up the screen with so much danger, and the flames persist long enough to really limit your options) and the knife throwers (who are so damn fast, unpredictable, and relentless). Especially in big groups, all those guys are just a recipe for pain and suffering. Really doesn't help that the 8th boss is a an extra-souped-up version of the knife guys, either (I had to resort to cheese strats for it).

I did, thankfully, finish it already (with the true ending)! I only played till like level 4 or so on my first playthrough, so this time I wanted to do the whole thing as soon as I could.

#the final boss was — thank goodness — fairly easy in comparison. definitely designed with the fact you have only 1HP at that point in mind #it only took me three tries total. compared to several dozen each on levels 7&8 #(the 7th boss — the blood trail guy — wasn't actually THAT bad for me. annoying but not unbearably so. getting TO him was the issue) #demontower #night in the woods #thanks for the ask!

yeah! i remember eyeing it when it first came out but i never got into it at the time, so i picked it up and played it during some steam sale a few months ago and it was pretty good :]
