hi!!

so i’ve known ab subliminals, manifesting, shifting for a while, but always had minimal success. i was never able to get the ‘big’ things i wanted.

but since being on tumblr, i learnt about STATES. which i had previously known about when i had read the power of awareness by neville goddard. unfortunately, that didn’t last long as i started watching manifesting gurus on youtube and got clouded with information again. (no hate to sammy ingram) But i watched her a lot. and i never got that much movement even tho i was consistent, it would make me feel guilty if i was t affirming enough. and i would beat myself up, saying to myself “if u really want this, u need to affirm more”. i would do the 10k challenge, 10 min stuff, but it was soooo overwhelming. so much stress because i wanted so many things, and i felt like i didn’t have enough time, i had other stuff to do, so even tho i was consistent, i would stress myself out, wondering if i was doing enough, doing it right, etc.

this mindset was toxic, although i didn’t realise it then. i just would get so upset because i trying to hard. which is why it also took me a min to realise.. that i shouldn’t be trying that hard to get something … u either have it or u don’t! so anyways, one or two weeks ago, i came on here because i was done. i wanted my desires. enough. At first i got swayed by the void stuff, which made me put it on a pedestal . which made me angry, i was like bro not this shit again. i don’t wanna waste another months or years. and somehow i stumbled across states. i’ll admit it took me a second to grasp. i re read the power of awareness. and realised it is simple, once i understood it, i deleted tumblr and focused on my life, while occupying my ideal state.

One thing that i’ve been wanting a lot is to travel this year. I travelled last year a bit with my friend and spent 3 months in another country during the summer and it was phenomenal: i wanted this again for 2023. I want to live my life yk.

Well this morning my mum woke me up to tell me we are going on 2 holidays. one next month and one in easter. Athens, Greece and Verona and Venice, Italy.

i was like omg this is amazing ?? we had talked a bit about it and every time we did i was like “yes. we’re going” in my head. and today we booked those holidays.

Now what’s so special about this? Well i made a pinterest board end of 2022 with places i wanna go def this year!! every time i looked at this board i was like “it’s done” [just the way i think ab every desire, because it is done, it’s mine, it literally comes from my consciousness so it’s inseparable to me]

and yeah!! i have 2 other places on this pinterest board but it’s literally the 31st of January 2023 rn and we’ve already booked for 2 of them so that’s a fucking success. i’m so confident more than ever about my power and how the 3D truly is just a reflection of my consciousness/ state i dwell on often!!!!!

I noticed that the Cretan Bull was created by Poseidon, the circumstances of the Minotaur's birth was orchestrated by Poseidon, and then Theseus is also characterized as a demigod son of Poseidon. This isn't really a full thought, but I thought it was interesting how involved Poseidon is to each of the parts of the labyrinth myths. He created the Minotaur, and he'd create his killer too. Also I don't think Poseidon is brought up in the Icarus myth, but he did meet his end drowning in the sea.

aye right? from a doylist perspective it’s cause crete is an island nation so the sea is pretty important to them and Poseidon as a result was a commonly invoked god. to clarify, Poseidon sent Minos the bull as a sign of his favor with the expectation Minos would sacrifice the bull to Poseidon (think abt buying yarn for someone with the express purpose for them to make u a sweater). Minos really liked the bull tho so he didn’t sacrifice it like he promised (he might have killed another bull as a fake out iirc, but ofc Poseidon was like bruh i can tell).

greek myths are big on uhhh dramatic irony? hubris? what’s the technical term for “the punishment fits the crime”. like tantalus fed the gods his son, so his punishment is No More Food, Forever. Poseidon’s also known to be temperamental (like the sea, get it?) and HATED being slighted (when he lost the city of Athens to Athena he fucked their shit up big time) and i mean, most of the gods had tempers on them (Hestia excluded) but Poseidon could get Nasty. and since Minos was Zeus’… thinks for a minute grandchild? (his dad Asterion was sired by Zeus, wait for it, in bull form) it makes sense that Poseidon would be the one cursing him rather than his Pappy (not that zeus wouldn’t fuck up his descendants lmao i just mention it bc of the lineage thing and that Zeus was the Bull Guy in general).

but yeah the whole “gods solving the problems they create” thing is pretty common. Athena made Medusa and also gave Perseus the shit he needed to kill her. people joke about gods like Loki having to damage control their own shit but tbh that’s Most Of The Gods. immortals cause problems, man.

(This fanfic takes place during the maliwan war in bl3 also this fanfic is mercenarys day or known as Christmas)

Y/n woke up in katagawa's bed they looked around he wasn't there 'he must already be at work' they thought. Y/n got dressed they opened their ech0-mail and found assassination requests..it was the same thing every time they were tired of going to Athens and killing dirty smelly weirdos! Even tho pandora was a wasteland it sure was fun watching bandits burn watching them beg for forgiveness and mercy oh God how they loved the contracts on pandora, taking a contract and seeing that the target is on pandora mmm made their day.

They opened the bedroom door passing by the kitchen y/n should eat but they weren't hungry they opened the front door and left the house. They started walking to Jr's office they were going out for the day maybe more and they wanted to let him know that so he didn't freak out. As they walked to his office they saw many mercenaries day decorations 'oh shoot was it already that time of year' they thought, they reached his office finally y/n walked into his office "morning jr sleep well?" He was busy with all sorts of paperwork he looked up at y/n "mm yes".

"You look busy honey" y/n said as they rubbed his shoulders "...so tense so stressed..." katagawa sighed and leaned back a little "that feels nice..your amazing with your hands you know?" "ooo I'm so scared" they say sarcastically jr look and y/n he nodded y/n thought for awhile is it really this serious then they saw that irritated look on katagawa's face and that sealed the deal.

writers block is hitting Hard today and for some reason you guys support me being annoying on main, so here are my opinions on the cities in cooking craze :)

also I should say that my views are 100% in regards to the cities in the game and not how they exist irl!!

New York

doughnut stand - v fun but too easy and not enough levels. good for an introduction to the game though, and the doughnuts look wonderful

burgers/hotdogs - i like it but why are there onion rings and no fries. would not go here (fun to play tho)

breakfast - THE BEST. i love the toast with the smiley faces and the cute pancakes and the ice cream. everything about this restaurant is wonderful and i love it more than life itself

steak - okay but I don't like how the toppings for the soup are right by the steak toppings. too confusing but overall fun

rating: 10/10. my favourite. new york owns my heart

Paris

pastry shop - exquisite ! always leaves me wanting a pain au chocolat <3

frog legs/snails - so much fun :) i like the macarons a lot

fancy ass restaurant - I have no idea what they're selling here but I remember hating this one a lot. just played a level and it's not that bad?

rating: 9/10. had to take away a point because it's french and also the music's annoying

pizza - fuck you fuck you fuck you. too much happening i want to die

ciabatta - nothing bad to say. a breath of fresh air after the pizza place

churrasco - I just. don't vibe with this one much. i don't like that you need to grill six things but the grill only has four spaces. maybe i'm just lazy

sandwiches/beans and rice - something about the beans and rice upsets me. don't like the alternate cooking

vatapá - incredible ! the potatoes look delicious <3

rating: 6/10. loses so many points for taking away the smoothie bar. that was my favourite level

Bangkok

seafood on sticks - whoever made this restaurant is in my top 10 hated people. despicable

tilapia/noodles - LOVE the noodles and the little selection of fruit. papaya salad isn't the best but I can live with it

crabs/rice - almost perfect except that the bottle of soy sauce blocks orders. makes me scream

rating: 7.5/10. love Bangkok as long as I avoid the first restaurant. loses points for not having any long timed levels bc I love those :(

Tokyo

sushi/ramen - the best restaurant here and that's saying something. why does the sushi rice take so long to prepare. i hate you

bento - hate this. too hard. how do I coordinate the rice and the bento omelette. everything looks cute but it fills me with rage

sashimi - this is too complicated for me I'm literally going to end it all right now. you get some points back because I like the shrimp

rating: 1/10. tokyo is my least favourite i hate it so much. worst city. life ruining

Athens

pita - absolutely wonderful. love that there are fries. so perfect

phyllo - always confusing when I play it after a while but easy once I get the hang of it. the yoghurt looks cute w honey on it <3

gemista - I'm not cutting up your fucking vegetables

rating: 7/10. last restaurant brought the score down from a 9

Mexico City

menudo - love everything about this. the churros. the pan de muerto with cream and watermelon. the little crackers shaped like ghosts. so perfect

tortillas - very fun. don't like that I have to put the tortillas on the plates before I can put the meat down, but the fruit selection makes up for it

tamales - harder than the other restaurants but still fun :)

rating: 10/10. love Mexico City so much !!

dumplings - WONDERFUL. could literally do this forever

pork - pork and borscht are fun but the porridge is horrible. die

sturgeon/blini - don't like that you have to put shit on the sturgeon before it goes in the oven. takes too much time

rating: 6.5/10. most of those points are for the dumplings

Shanghai

rice/noodles - fruit is fun but absolutely not worth the stress of whatever the fuck is going on with the rice and noodles

bao buns - she cleared my skin. nothing else to say

peking duck - love this one ! shaved ice is very cute and the dumplings in soup are wonderful. duck bodies scare me tho

rating: 8.5/10 because I liked the rice/noodles restaurant at one point

fried cheese - always fun !! nothing bad to say here <3

M E A T - excellent. reminds me of the netflix show Ares bc i'd play this while watching it. hate the pickled cheese

boar knee - takes too long to cook the boar knee. love soup in a bread bowl

boxty/Irish stew - so simple yet so good. definitely a favourite. could play forever

shepherd's pie - LOVE shepherd's pie. the cabbage/corned beef combo is complicated but not the worst :/

ah ok so from what i understand, the wiki says that dean and cassie met in athens, ohio when she was in college. (even tho the case is in missouri, i’m assuming she just moved back home after college) now if we consider that she and dean are the same age, and this was when sam was at stanford already, cassie would’ve likely been in her senior year at some ohio university and both of them would’ve been 22 (if u consider the actress’s age this changes but. spn doesn’t really adhere to actor ages so idk this is what i go by!)

and dean says some like abt them being together “for a few weeks” but later when sam presses him abt it he says that they were together for a lot longer than that- which makes me think it probably was a few months and not a few weeks ? i usually say >6 months for the sake of my cscm but it’s up to u how u interpret their words !! and if we go by years i’m guessing around 2001/2002 given how old dean would have to be and how old sam was at the time (again going off cassie and dean being 22 when they were together!)

Eden was born in Brisbane, Australia. She comes from an animal lover family. Her grandparents are very popular down under because they had an animal TV show à la Steve Irwin. Her dad followed their footsteps and it’s a well-known zoologist who also had some TV shows (think of Bear Grylls).

TW: death, infant death, car accident. Matthias Koppelman (her dad) had been previously married but lost his wife and child in a car accident and after that he isolated himself from the public eye and moved to Namibia. 

At twenty-eight, he felt the need to climb Mount Everest as one does, ya know? But ofc this man hadn’t climbed in years (he had experience but he’d been too sad to climb mountains. I mean he could barely leave bed, let alone climb Everest). That didn’t stop him and he did.

He almost d worded there bc as I said he was not ready but that’s when Hestia queen of fire showed up and warmed him (in a non sexual way bc she’s pure okay) and he was like oh that was a near dead experience and didn’t think much.

After he conquered the Everest with the help of Hestia, he moved back to Australia and oh surprise a few months later he opened his door and voilá a bebé was there with a note that said “you deserve to have a family, love hestia” 

He was shocked like “did i just impregnate a fantasy?”  but then Hestia was kind enough to send another and explain everything.

Anyway, Eden lived in Brisbane for four years before her dad took a job in South Africa. They moved to Cape Town (and her grandparents came with them) and pretty much had a happy life surrounded by animals. 

TW: fire. When she was nine, her dad took her to a game reserve in Limpopo and by some reason a fire started endangering animals and flora. Everyone was panicking bc I mean wouldn’t u? But Eden was attracted to the flames like a pyro (the good kind tho) and since everyone had better things to do than taking care of a child, they left her unsupervised and she delved into the fire.

Ofc nothing happened to her because ✨immunity✨ but guess who showed up again? Hestia!!!! Being a great goddess and mom, she taught Eden how to use her powers so she could absorb the fire and save all the animals and people. 

Everyone was like holy shit a miracle and the firefighters were like “the fuck? we did shit but we gonna take the credit lol”

Eden was like “did that just happen?” and yes, it did but she was like “meh that was imagination” and her dad was like *nervous chuckle* “yeah…” because he didn’t want to tell her the truth since that could put her in danger.

At 13, she had her bat mitzvah and it was all fun and games until fire lady showed up aka Hestia. Her dad and Hestia explained everything and Eden was like: 

Hestia claimed her and off to camp she went. For the next few years she went to camps all over the world as a treat.

She never went on a quest bc she was afraid and also because she couldn’t put herself in danger and risk losing her life bc her dad already had lost a child… so yeah

Her dad remarried when she was seventeen and a year later she welcomed a new baby brother and that’s why she decided to take a gap year to be with her bro and also work with her dad in the reserves.

She moved to Athens when she was nineteen and decided to go into veterinary school. So yes Ella will get her dog one way or another idc what the admins say :chaos:

pyrokinesis: This power first manifested when she was nine years old and she helped to save an animal reserve from the flames with the help of Hestia. Since she was claimed when she was thirteen, she’s learned how to use this power. Now she can summon fire without any problem and put it out just as fast. This is very helpful because she loves baking but she’s a bit clumsy so she often burns herself, but thankfully, she’s immune, so no pain. However, Eden has never been able to create a hot wall of flames nor she has ever asked how to do that, she just hopes she never has to use it.

serenity inducement: Eden avoids conflict at all cost, not only it makes her cry but also makes her very uncomfortable and anxious which is why this was the first power she manifested. She was just a child but from what she remembers it was during a class in preschool that a kid started hitting another one. Eden panicked at such an act of violence she went there and touched the bully’s shoulder which immediately calmed him. Back then she didn’t know it was a power but after finding out about her true identity, many other events like this started to make sense. This is the power she uses the most, also with animals which is why she makes such a good veterinarian because she can calm an animal's nerves.

bond manipulation: She wouldn’t say this is one of her weakest powers but it’s one she didn’t use often growing up because she came from such a stable family that it didn’t seem necessary, however, she sometimes catches herself using it in group projects or at her workplace, you know, to keep things healthy and positive.

ability to summon food: By far the one she uses the least (personally speaking), she likes cooking and baking, so she doesn’t see the point but she does use it to feed stray animals.

Eden speaks fluent English, she has a mixed South African and Australian accent but she can switch. At school, half of her classes were in Afrikaans, so she also speaks it fluently. Greek comes from her demigod side, but she also took some classes back in school upon her father’s request. Growing up in a very Jewish family, her grandparents believed it was pretty important that Eden learned Yiddish and Hebrew, she can read it perfectly but struggles speaking it, especially Yiddish because she also attended Hebrew school. As for French, she learned in high school and she still takes lessons at Eonia but she hates it.

Her father started taking her to a climbing gym when she was five and by the time she was ten she was already climbing 6a routes which is pretty much an intermediate level and very impressive for her age. 

She had her own TV show on Discover Kids titled “Eden’s Wildlife Adventure” in which she explained the importance of different types of animals. The first seasons were shot between Australia and South Africa, but in later seasons she traveled across Africa and South America. The show ran from 2005-2011 (which was when she was claimed).

Her father is a classic rock band and so is she. Her animals have been named after influential musicians. Right now she has a cat named Hendrix, a horse named Cobain, a dog named Mick. Growing up her father took care of a baby lion which they named Little Richard because he was smaller than most lion cubs. Over the years, his father and grandparents have fostered several wild animals while they recover or before they are sent to a reserve. Among the animals they have fostered are elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, hippos and more.

at the camp, she soon realises that, although everyone is friendly, hades has quite the bad reputation. instead of trying to prove them all wrong, however, maxine instead makes it worse and enjoys to feed into their little dark fantasies (yes my dad will send u straight into tartarus if you don’t listen to me) (cerberus loves to have demigod children for breakfast :-))
