I like to say I've been there from the start, but to be honest, that's a lie.

I've been an Unus Annus fan since a week after it began.

It was November 22, 2019, at 2 am.

I was having a bad night, as my friend had told me he was suicidal and not to cry over him when he didn't wake up the next morning. I told him I'd stay up until he woke up, as a sentimental gesture/the only thing I could think of.

He had gone to bed by now, but I couldn't sleep a wink. I was running out of people to go to, so I turned to youtube, the one place I knew I could rely on.

After some Markiplier FNAF reaction compilations to try to get myself to smile, "Hot Dog'd to Death" popped up in my recommendations.

I laughed so hard I cried, and let's be honest, I haven't laughed at anything as hard since.

I was hooked instantly, and after binging everything I could, I fell asleep, almost happy.

Fast forward to now, November 13, 2020. I no longer speak to that friend due to outside circumstances, but he's alive and despite the fact I told myself I wouldnt make it, so am I.

I'm in the same situation again, but with a different friend. I was so close to losing it totally when they told me the same thing the other had, but I took a deep breath and pulled up Hot Dog'd To Death.

Everything is alright now. No matter what happens, I'll be okay, because even in spirit, Unus Annus is there for me. I wouldn't trade this last year for anything, even with its ups and downs and chaos and death.

I love this community so much, and I'm happy I got to see it while it was thriving and here. Mark and Ethan, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for creating something that made me feel okay, and feel okay about feeling okay, even now.

Mark: That's not how math- No! Three hundred and sixty seconds is not three minutes! Let's just be very clear here! Six minutes- yeah, no! That's six minutes!

Ethan: No, Three minutes and sixty seconds!

Mark: No, no. Three hundred and sixty seconds is not three minutes and sixty seconds.

Ethan: Three minutes and sixty seconds is four minutes.

Mark: You are right about that but don't just assume- don't just take that and go!

Ethan: Oh, they're not done. Three minutes… thirty, sixty. Look! The proof is in the pudding! Hehehehe
