Sometime this week, maybe today, "I Am the Walrus" was filmed. The confusion over who wore the walrus costume should never have become a thing, but it did.

Things I discovered today
Anyone remember that scene where 2 and 3 meet and then 3 says "I am he and he is me" and then Jo says "and we are all together koo koo kajoo ?" I found the Beatles song that Jo was talking about, it's I am the Walrus, it is INSANELY WILD if I say the least, and the lyrics are literally at the very beginning.
The song Jo is talking about : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1Jm5epJr10&ab_channel=TheBeatles-Topic

In this two-part series I dive deep into the Paul Is Dead urban legend and prove it was the brainchild of the Beatles: a dark and secret narrative they deliberately inserted into their music, album art, films and promotional material. In this first part of the series I examine the misunderstood Magical Mystery Tour film and bring to light shocking and previously unrevealed Paul Is Dead clues…!!!

George Martin works on the mix for "I Am the Walrus" today. In the time of only four track recording, this meant bouncing down the mix to another tape every time the four tracks got full. For example, to record the orchestral backing, Martin had to simultaneously create a reduction mix of the backing tracks so it would all fit. Sometimes this would be done again, to create more room--in this instance, Martin took the vocal and orchestral overdubs and put them on an unused track on take 17 and went from there.
It all just goes to show the complexity the Beatles and Martin were able to create with a far more limited technology than we have today. With fidelity and flexibility degrading every time you do this type of thing, it's a wonder it sounds so good.
