Episode 11 brought no couple conflict whatsoever, not even a sprinkle of it, so the boys are going into episode 12 solid as a boulder.

The families seem okay with everything.

So episode 12 will be totally normal and happy which is crazy for a Tee show, but he is doing something different, and I love it because it'll be great and nothing sad or bad will happen because it just can't happen in the last episode since there is no time jump and the families are okay with everything and no one is dying and there is no couple conflict so no one is going to have to pick between their head and their heart or their family and their boyfriend or life and love because this is smooth sailing to the end baby with only some minor happy tears!

God, I really did just leave that episode feeling like something is missing, because the discrepancies between what Abbadina said to the Hells (and what information they gave her about the disappearances) and what she said to the townspeople were enough to feel like [KILL BILL SIRENS], but on top of that, the Dawn Marshals of Vasselheim don't exactly have a historical tendency of pushing their influence so hamfistedly outside of the city's borders. However one might feel about their directives within the city, when we've seen them go beyond it, it's generally in the interest of hiding very dangerous information, not to act as missionaries.

I'm genuinely wondering if this town has a similar lineage to the Hishari, and they're trying to sway them quietly from following in that cult's doomed footsteps, or if this is one of the cults that Keyleth mentioned that people already had an eye on and perhapd the Ruby Vanguard's presence has already been felt here well before the Solstice arrived.

It makes sense to me in either of those circumstances that the agents of Vasselheim would then be suspicious of strangers having just shown up, particularly when they arrive as the vanguard of a rebellion, but I'm anxiously awaiting another shoe to drop that makes these missing pieces fall into place.

On my 10,000th rewatch of YR and I'm beginning to think... Kristina is a good mom 😬 who am I becoming??? I used to think she was just placating Wille when she told him they'd reassess when he was 18 and that she didn't actually intend to let him come out but like. Maybe not?

Like given the way that she was likely raised, I feel like behind the scenes, she actually advocates for him the best she can. She really doesn't want August to be the backup, but maybe that's the compromise she made with the court. It wasn't entirely up to her.

When he calls her upset about the school song/Simon's song that's what I usually focus on but like... the way she says "if you can't handle the pressure, or if there's no natural heirs"... she's settling for August as a replacement in the event that Wille does end up with Simon. She's genuinely trying to make it possible for him to be free 😭

She doesn't make the best choices, but she's been conditioned to put the monarchy before herself for her entire life, so maybe it's hard for her to understand why he can't just do the same??? Like even sending him to therapy is showing that she cares because she really is worried about him but like. She's baffled by his outburst. She actually cannot understand why he's upset. That's just the way it is why can'the accept it in the same way that she just had to accept it.

i truly laugh when my mum starts to bodyshame me in the middle of the argue, i mean....m'am we were talking about why my sister shouldn't colour her hair into dark red!!! what my tummy did to you???

it always annoys me and makes me actually so sad, if i throw away all my jokes about it. why my weigh values so much to her, why she thinks it's normal to use it as an iron argument...i dont know. i shouldn't give zero fucks about it, i know that pretty well. but it hurts so much to hear this everytime, especially from a mother. i try to distance from her words as far as i can, but still a little part of my heart feels the pain which her words send. and like a damning virus, it infects a huge part of my heart that does not care.

i've never been enough slim, enough beautiful to her. maybe she likes to see me as a doll to customize, not as a separated from her personality. and not as a daughter, enough to be really proud of.

anyways, i'll deal with it. no matter how many times i'll cry about it. and this woman won't be able to cause any fear, anger or sadness to my body in my heart.
