Currently thinking about how when you break things off with Astarion before making things official(at least when you choose Karlach over him). He makes light of it and the ending of your midnight rendezvous, but Niel Newbon aids this layer to the voice acting where you can tell he’s hurt, that he wanted more time with you.

He was starting to trust you, he let you look at the scars on his back(and attempt to read them if youre a tiefling). He was getting attached.

“I was just seducing them” he tells himself, since thats what it started as but thats not how he feels about you anymore.

It’s just another disappointment for him to snuff out.

can i just talk about crowley this season, he was so brave and it felt so heartwarming to see him overtly stand up for aziraphale time and time again, and to reassure him and take hold of situations that scare him, and to build up the courage to tell him he loved him
