i hope that Edward Francis Kaspbrak, who, if he eats a cashew, could realistically die and who, as soon as his stupid crush said that the shower caps were ridiculous, took his off instantly and who, in spite of drinking only water with his meal, decided to act like he was drunk enough that he could say shit like, "let's take our shirts off and kiss!!" to the won't-admit-it love of his life without fear and who laughs through the fear of his childhood bully stabbing him in the face and who talks to himself to cope and calls himself Eds when he's afraid because that's what Richie calls him, Richie who says he's, "braver than you think" and who would die for his friends again and again, knows that he has my entire fucking heart.
I had heard that it wasn't as good as It (2017), & I agree, but all the parts with the kids were really special!! I loved getting a peek into more moments in their lives, just them hanging out <3
& I expected to love Bill Hader & I did, but I didn't expect to be obsessed with anyone else-- but Adult Eddie Actor!!! James Ransone! My dood killed it!
he had such Eddie energy it delighted me <3
I woulda watched a whole movie of just them.
& I also didn't expect this!! the director of both movies actually thinks Richie is gay & in love with Eddie!! (I read an interview where he was very clear on this.) & everything to do with this in the movie is gold.
anyway, I'm sure none of that is original!
just having reddie feels.
& thinking I probably need to read the book now... (even though I read that Stephen King did not intend Eddie or Richie to be queer at all)
P.S. anyone know of any good aged-up reddie fanfic?
loved the black phone bc the cops literally did not do shit the entire thing. They relied on a possibly psychic child to solve a serial killer case while her brother and his ghost squad home alone'd the killer to death
