I'm in the process of making a sort of mega-playlist of all my favourite bands and songs from around 1983 to about 1995, a period in which nearly all of the music that means anything to me now, as it did then was made. One of those to make the list is All About Eve who put out two great albums, All About Eve (1988) and Scarlett And Other Stories (1989). I loved AAE - I was a member of their fanclub, Eden. I wish I kept all those newsletters, images and whatever else I got sent. I do still have the button though. Somewhere. I also had a massive teen crush on Julianne Regan, lolz. I never did see them live - they played Aberdeen only once, in 2001 by which time i was already living in Ireland.

Find A Song that delves into the dark intentions of revenge
Le Cygne Noir - Kill You
‘’It’s pure 90’s, musically speaking. Yet again I’m approaching difficult topics with a touch of humour. It’s very tongue in cheek to say the least. We had to fight to get this released, as it upset the new order, due to a certain lyric in the opening verse’’ explains LCN. ‘’I thought it was funny, in fact it’s the best lyric ever in my opinion!’’
With classy guitar and bass lines provided by LCN’s musical sidekick, Neil Taylor (Tears for Fears) this 4 minute ‘’phenomenal piece of brilliant SLACKER POP’’ (Julianne Regan) delves into the breakup of a couple, and the dark intentions of revenge, all delivered in an intentional contrasting upbeat package.
Added to FAS Spotify playlists indie pop and relationships.

Gene Loves Jezebel - Twenty Killer Hurts - Live 1988
Tumblr media
Gene Loves Jezebel are a British rock band formed in the early 1980s by brothers, Michael Aston and Jay Aston. Gene Loves Jezebel's best-known songs include "Heartache", "Desire (Come and Get It)" (1986), "The Motion of Love" (1987), "Jealous" (1990), and "Break the Chain" (1993), as well as alternative club hits "Bruises" (1983), "Influenza (Relapse)" (1984), "Shame", "Screaming for Emmalene" and "The Cow" (1985). "Desire" and "Heartache" were the most successful UK singles.

Split and brief reunion: 1990–1997
While Michael Aston went solo, the rest of the band continued as Gene Loves Jezebel and recorded two albums, Kiss of Life (1990) and Heavenly Bodies (1992). The band were dropped by Geffen Records and Beggars Banquet due to poor sales and lack of interest from the what was left of the fan base. Heavenly Bodies was the final nail and Jay's solo Gene Loves Jezebel efforts, But in 1993, the brothers reformed the band with a new lineup; Francois Perez replaced James Stevenson and drummer Robert Adam was retained.
While Jay Aston performed occasional acoustic shows under his own name, Michael Aston formed a new band called the Immigrants (renamed Edith Grove) and later released a primarily acoustic solo album, Why Me, Why This, Why Now. The brothers began working together again that same year and recorded two songs with Stevenson, Bell, and Rizzo for a compilation album, The Best Of, released in September 1995. Jay Aston also recorded a solo album, Unpopular Songs, produced by Stevenson.
The brothers reconciled in the mid-1990s, wrote some new songs together, and shared a house in Los Angeles. They initially used Michael Aston's band from the Why Me album era. In 1997, the band embarked on the Pre-Raphaelite Brothers tour, in which Gene Loves Jezebel material and songs from the brothers' solo careers would be performed.

Fox News MELTS DOWN over Trump indictment
COMMENTARY”
Here's the thing about Trump that is essential to the future of the woke voters: there is "The Donald Art of the Deal Troop before Bob Dole's 1986 reforms and Slippery Supply Side Donny, the Duck=Ass Don of the Corleone amily Values.. Dole's tax reforms were the first shots out of the class warfare of what has become the January 6 insurgency and the payoff to the active investors in the strategy by the John Birch Society to blow up the Nixon-Mohnihan process to transform the Military-Industrial Complex to what we now aspire to achieve, the Green New Deal known historically as Affirmative Action. Before Reagan, Trump was a fairly honest developer, which is why Carter authorized the guarantees that allow The Equitable to under write Trumps' proposal for Trump Tower. Trump had alwasy been part of the Urban Renewal program Nixon and Moynihan helped NYC evolve when the Big Apple was about to go bank rupt. Trump deserves most of the  credit for NYC's response to 911 that Rudy "Americ;s Mayor" Julianne gets> that resilience is all Trump Tower. Tat was the Art of the Deal before Supply Side Economics. This indictment is Donny "Supply Side" Cheeto Jesus Trump of Liz Cheney's version of January 6. The Resolution Trust Corporation was the first big payh off for the investors in Lewis Powell's strategy to blow up Nixon-Moynihan Affirmative Action of the class war fare of the John BirchBill Buckley Society. An objective of the Nixon-Moynihan processes was to lasso the synergies of the Woodstock Nation and I don't know how Trump operated in NYC before Regan, but we now have 46 points of reference of how he operated after Reagan, His Atlantic City ventures were designed around the Uban Renewal elements of Affirmative Action and they failed  because of the class warfare Tucker Carlson is getting big bucks to promote. Trump is Steve Bannon's Howdy Dooty.

@relaxvideobar www.relaxvideobar.com (at RELAX VIDEO BAR) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfdTPvrMbLP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
