𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭, 𝐡𝐢𝐦?
Tumblr media
summary: their sister got a new boyfriend, and unfortunately for them, they already know the guy.
with: teiko team and Kagami.
n: remastered prompt, thought I could reuse and have fun with it again hehe. Also, this is a brother x boyfriend type of hdc, let me know if you guys liked it. hope you all enjoy it! ps: I totally wouldn't like to get btw kagami and daiki 🥴.
Tumblr media
⊛ akashi seijuro x midorima shintaro
Seijuro’s actually pleased by the surprise. He knows pretty much about his former teammate so, he won't have problems trusting him to take care of you and treat you well, as you deserve.
Not only he found it pleasing, but also amusing. It's not every day that your sister decides to date such a confident, stubborn guy, which makes things a bit more interesting for him as the big brother.
“Midorima-kun. What a nice surprise.” The red-haired cordially extends his hand to the new family's addition, wearing a subtle smirk while gazing at him with his piercing, red pupils. Midorima isn't a fool to trust these eyes. “I'm feeling we’ll have a good time together, don’t you?
Tumblr media
⊛ aomine daiki x kagami taiga
“You've got to be kidding...” It’s the first thing Daiki grumbles, looking at your new, moron boyfriend. As if it isn't good enough to deal with him at the championships, now he'll have to in his personal life too? With his sister? Alright, where are the cameras? 'Cause he isn't having any fun with this joke.
let's face it, Aomine will make Taiga's life very difficult from now on: they’ll probably bicker and growl at each other every time. But if he's being honest, he’s actually relieved that your boyfriend is someone as upstanding and honorable as Taiga; he wouldn’t want you to date someone who doesn't treat you well. Even though he’s an imbecile, he's also kinda... trusty. But he won't ever say that out loud.
“Okay, fine... I can accept this." He points at you both, discontent but not wanting you sad for not having his support. "but you better leave me out of the sappy romance of yours. Too much to sleep at night."
Tumblr media
⊛ midorima shintaro x kise ryota
Midorima's already someone difficult to win, especially for a guy who wants to date his sister. So regardless of their past, with Kise it won't be any different; in fact, it'll be worse, due to Kise’s cocky and too much charming personality, unpleasant to the green-haired boy.
but as a person, Kise isn’t so bad. Is he an overwhelming, smug, and sometimes stupid guy? yes. But he can't deny he also has a good heart. For your happiness, he'll make an effort, but the blonde better be prepared for what comes for him.
“You really have a bad taste in men.” He bluntly tells you, getting on Kise's nerves, to his delight. Before any of you can protest, he continues. “But he’s not as dumb as the others, so I can deal with him. For now.”
Tumblr media
⊛ kise ryota x murasakibara atsushi
“You're kidding, right?” Kise can't help but cackle, bewildered by the news. Not even in his wildest dream did he see something like that happening. You, his baby sister, dating this giant child? It's too much to actually be real. “Murasakibara-chi, you spend all your money on candy, how will you buy my sister something nice?”
He honestly doesn’t understand what you saw in Murasaki. The guy is lazy, gets easily bored, and probably has more cavities in his teeth than fingers. He is a whiny, giant baby, how can he be attractive?
It'll take a while, but Kise'll slowly notice Atsushi's qualities as a boyfriend. Definitely, he isn't the ideal guy he was planning for you, but you're his world, and that's what matters in the end for Kise.
Tumblr media
⊛ murasakibara atsushi x akashi seijuro
Atsushi's fine with the news, he actually noticed the way you and Akashi slowly grew close to each other. He has a lot of respect for him, confident that he’s the best person to take care of his sister and give her a good future. If it were up to him, you might even marry sooner than planned.
“Seijuro-kun, my sister's new boyfriend?” He rewinds, asking no one in specific. Akashi offers him a nod, with a small smile on his face while holding your hand. The purple-haired boy scratches his chin, unfazed but internally pleased. “Well, I think this is good news.”
Tumblr media
⊛ kagami taiga x aomine daiki
“Please tell me this is a joke.” Kagami practically begs you, hating the teasing smirk Daiki wears on his face, bothering his future brother-in-law. You shake your head, and Kagami loses his freaking mind. “Of so many people in the world, why him? Like, there's our neighbor Koshi a-and that nice guy from the cafe. Heck, you could even date a werewolf, for good's sake, just not him! What is so attractive about him? No, actually, I don’t want to know. I need to keep the rest of my sanity intact.”
As you can notice, Kagami was quite affected by your new relationship. And with Aomine nagging him constantly, it got even harder for him not to just jump in Daiki's throat. But with time, the two will learn how to deal with each other, especially since Aomine’s clearly making you happy. He can be a moron, but at least he’s doing his job right.

Hi! I'm here to request a headcanon for my favorite boys from KnB!! How would GOM + Kagami react to gn!reader getting injured while playing basketball with the boys?
GOM + Kagami injured s/o headcanons
Akashi
Akashi smirked to himself as he watched the ball swish through the net, completing the play. Another flawless move in his expert strategy on the court.
He turned around to look at his teammates for the practice game, and was surprised to see them not in awe of his skill as usual, but instead their attention surrounded by his s/o on the ground. “What happened?”
“My ankle….” [Y/N] wheezed as they held their leg to their chest.
Akashi’s eyes went wide. The ankle break. He didn’t even realize he was doing it until he whoosed past them. They must have fallen wrong due to him tripping them up and gotten really injured.
“Go get a nurse.” He ordered to another teammate, and they all rush off in tandem to find a nurse (or escape his sharp gaze). “[Y/N] I’m so sorry. I never meant to hurt you.”
“I know. It’s ok. I should have known since it’s your signature move.”
“My signature move is not hurting people.” Akashi rebutted, and placed his hand over theirs. “Let me take a look, before the nurse gets here. See what we’re dealing with.” It didn’t look bad at all, but as far as Akashi was concerned their might as well have been a knife sticking out of it.
There certainly one sticking out of his heart.
Aomine
He couldn’t hear anything when he went in the Zone.
It was just him, the basketball, and the hoop.
No one else mattered, or seemed real, when he went into this state.
Aomine came out of it a few minutes after tapping in. This game wasn’t that serious, and honestly didn’t need the Zone at all. He’d just been pissed off that his teammates had been taunting him in front of [Y/N], and decided to teach them a lesson.
“Damnit Aomine! How could you do that?”
“What Bakamatsu?” He clapped back at his fledgling captain. “Remind you that you’ll never be as good as me?”
Wakamatsu growled through gritted teeth. “You idiot! Is that really all you can say after what you did to [Y/N]?!”
Aomine got a surprised look on his face and finally looked down, where Ryu was crouched next to an injured [Y/N] on the ground. “Shit!”
“You really don’t care about anything back basketball, do you?” The blonde teen scolded as he rushed to their side. “Not your teammates. Not your training. And apparently not even your s/o. You just blitz right past them and put your shoulder right into ‘em.”
“You shut up Wakamatsu!!”
He doesn’t remember any of that. He’d gotten pretty intense when he was in the Zone before, but he never fouled anyone. ‘Shit’ he thought. Why’d it have to be them if he ran into anyone? “You ok?”
“Yeah. I’m ok.” [Y/N] replied as they tried to sit up. Holding their head where it had clearly taken a smack against the hardwood after the push. “I don’t think I’m bleeding.”
“We should still get you to the nurse to check you out.” Ryu insisted.
“I’ll do it.”
Aomine as already on his feet and helping [Y/N] to theirs. Escorting them to the nurse and all but carrying them out of the gym.
“That idiot.” Wakamatsu growled again once he was gone. “All that talent and he’s still just a reckless moron.”
Kuroko
It was just a friendly practice game between teammates and friends. Or at least that’s how it started.
Inevitably, and when dealing with high level high school athletes like the Serin club, it got more & more competitive as the game went on.
Kuroko’s team was only down by a few points. Something they could easily make up if they just buckled down and kept up a good defense. That’s where he came in.
The ball was past to him and Kuroko was about to Ignite Pass it right back out to Kagami, when [Y/N] suddenly stepped in the way. It was too late to stop the play and the ball instantly went flying across the court. Right into [Y/N] and knocking them off their feet.
“[Y/N]-kun!” Kuroko shouted (or…as much as his quiet voice allowed him to shout) as he rushed to their side. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah. I think so.”
They winced a little when they sat up and clutched their side. Clearly in pain where they ball struck them. “I’m so sorry.”
“It’s ok Kuroko-kun.” [Y/N] said in response to his apology. “I should have been paying more attention and not gotten in the way. Sorry.”
“It’s no one’s fault. Accidents happen.” Riko said. Everyone having come over after the incident to check on [Y/N] and see what happened. “Let’s get you on the bench with an ice pack for now though. I think that’s enough basketball for today.”
“I’m sorry everyone.”
All the team members wave [Y/N] off. Some making a vague excuse that they were tired anyway. Kuroko still felt bad though and sat beside [Y/N] for the rest of practice while the other team members practice shots or hung out. Not wanting to leave their side, even if they didn’t notice.
Midorima
Midorima was usually a very calculating person. He had everything planned out, strategized, and prepared to move forward before he made his first step in the morning. How he played basketball was no different.
Aside from his impressive 3 point ability, he also had incredible foresight on how the other players were going to react & behave. Which made it very easy to counter in most cases.
This was of course impossible to do with his impulsive s/o, [Y/N].
He wouldn’t admit that he was hurt when Takao and [Y/N] teamed up against him in this little game. Nor that it made him play more aggressively. When the point guard stole the ball from one of his teammates, and was getting ready to pass it to [Y/N], Midorima saw it clear as day and leapt forward to block it.
However, he did not anticipate how far [Y/N] was willing to reach for the ball; a ridiculous amount in his opinion. They ran right into him and both landed on the hardwood with a hard smack. Midorima able to correct himself pretty quickly, but [Y/N] landing face down.
“Ouch! You ok [Y/N]-chan?” Takao asked as he jogged over towards them.
“I think so.” [Y/N]’s muffled voice called out before they sat up. Their nose bleeding.
“Aw man!” Takao bemoaned before he ran off to get some towels.
“Is it bad?”
“Not that bad.” Midorima replied. Pulling a handkerchief, todays lucky item, out of his pocket to hold against their nose. “That was a totally reckless thing you did.”
“You ran into me.” [Y/N] replied. Their voice comical with their nose held to stop the bleeding. “I would have had it if you didn’t try to wall me off the pass.”
“I was trying to intercept. You were the one that went completely off the line. Where you trying to rugby catch the ball or something?”
“So what if I was?”
Midorima scrunched his mouth, perhaps not to laugh, and removed the handkerchief. “There. It stopped.”
“Thank you Shintaro-kun.” They replied. Making him smile, even if their face was bloody.
“I got you some water.” Takao said. Literally re-entering the conversation. “That can’t taste good in your mouth.”
“Thanks Takao.” They rinsed out their mouth and stood up. “I’m gonna go wash up. Sorry for messing up today’s lucky item Shintaro-kun.”
“It’s not important.”
[Y/N] smiled and trotted off to the bathroom. Midorima stood there, holding the handkerchief for a moment, before he went to throw it away. It didn’t seem very lucky anymore, and he didn’t want to be reminded of it either.
Murasakibara
His size had always been an issue for him. Even as a child.
Consistently bigger than all his peers and classmates, Murasakibara had to be careful he wasn't too rough with anyone or else they would get hurt. Except when it came to basketball.
His size was for once a true advantage when he played the sport. It was one of the reasons he kept playing, so he could be seen as an asset instead of a giant inconvenience.
Today, however, he didn’t feel like playing. So he was using his size as a petty form of compliance.
Standing on the court, as instructed, he just stood there and used his size to take up space. Like a muttering stone wall Murasakibara just stood there while everyone played around him. Just waiting for the game to be over.
“I got it!” [Y/N] called out. Catching the ball and dribbling down the court. The opposing team tried to catch up to them to steal, and they looked back for just a moment before colliding into Murasakibara’s ‘wall defense’. Ending up on the ground while he barely registered the shove.
“Are you ok [Y/N]-chin?”
“I think so.” They replied as they sat up. Wincing a little as they had clearly tried to catch themselves with their hands, and tweaked their wrist a little.
“[Y/N]-chin is hurt.” Murasakibara said. Seeing an opportunity. “They need to go to the nurse.”
“I think they’re ok Atsushi.” Himuro told him. Having jogged over in the commotion.
“Yeah. I’m fine.” [Y/N] agreed.
“They need to go to the nurse.” Murasakibara repeated and immediately lifting them up with one hand.
He walked off. [Y/N] almost dangling behind him at his pace as he made haste to get them to the nurse. “You just wanted to leave the game, didn’t you Mura-kun?” [Y/N] asked, once they were out of ear shot.
“It can be two things.”
+ Kagami
It was no secret to anyone about Kagami’s enthusiasm for basketball. He lived, ate, drank, and breathed the sport.
Although he loved the organized nature of the sport with his Serin team, he also loved the free nature of street ball; and the happy memories it brought back to him from his childhood.
He was especially excited when he got to play with [Y/N].
They weren’t on a team like him, or perhaps as traditionally skilled as other players, but they did love the sport. That was all that mattered to Kagami. As long as you loved and appreciated the sport, you could always play in his opinion.
The other team they were playing on the street court was very good, but having a hard time keeping up with Kagami’s moves. He’d dribble the ball in circles around them. Make a fast break to blow through their defenses. He even dunked a few times.
His adrenaline was really up, so when he was passed the ball again he quickly spun around to try and drive it up court again, but saw [Y/N] trip over another play in motion and slide across the asphalt.
“[Y/N]!” He shouted. Immediately dropping the ball and running over to them.
“Oh man, I’m really sorry! It was an accident!”
He barely registered the other player’s apology as he looked over [Y/N]. Falling on asphalt sucked. He would know. Their legs and arm where they took the dive was all scratched up. Portions of it starting to bleed, but nothing too serious. “Come on. Let’s get you home and cleaned up.”
“But the game….”
“Who cares about the game?” Kagami growled at them. Helping them to their feet and moving their weight onto his side to take pressure off the one they fell on. “Your more important than some game.”
He took [Y/N] back to his apartment and cleaned them up with his first aid kit & bandages. They spent the rest of the afternoon there. Watching basketball instead of playing it. Which, in his book, was still a good afternoon.

What the Generation of Miracles + Kagami Call Each Other
See reddit for better quality
I decided to make this infographic for anyone out there who might be confused by all the different naming patterns used in knb! There are even more than this, but I decided to just stick to the main cast for now, but if you guys find this useful maybe I'll make some more. Use this for fanfic references, comics/art, or just for your own personal knowledge!
As I was making this I realized I shouldn't have passed 3rd grade because I'm not entirely sure how to label this chart...I hope its not too confusing and that the color coordination helps! I think I got this down, the only one I'm iffy on is Murasakibara's address for Kagami... He never calls him "Kaga-chin" right? I'm also pretty sure Akashi only used -kun for Kagami the first time they met.
EDIT: mixed up the names for Akashi's personalities. Should be fixed now but some reblogs prior to this switch may be the wrong way around, just an fyi!

kuroko tetsuya x gn!reader
includes: husband!tetsu. party/drunk ppl. tetsu being hot n a Good Husband
notes: my baby
Tumblr media
This was supposed to be the quiet corner of the party.
Well, as quiet as it can get in an overcrowded apartment with crackling speakers turned up to full volume. You were just standing here waiting for Tetsuya to get back with your drinks, minding your own business along the wall as you watched Kagami do a keg stand across the room to try to beat Aomine's record, the latter and some others booing and cheering for him respectively. The usual, you know.
Yeah, it was supposed to be quiet, but there’s some guy standing in front of you that just will not shut up.
And he’s nice—it’s true, but he’s babbling. Babbling about any and everything; all of what comes out of his mouth being all about himself. Which, one, is most certainly not attractive, and two, is getting real old real fast. He’s faking politeness, the kind that guys do to engage with you just enough to cover up the fact all they’re trying to do is sneak you off to the bathroom. Unfortunately for him though, he’s not your type. And even if he was, you’re not interested.
In the slightest.
“And then it was the last ten seconds and we were down by two so I barely got the rebound and—“
“Ended up hitting a buzzer beater?” You interrupt, and your cheeks are killing you from the fake smile you have painted on.
Inwardly you’re rolling your eyes, because it’s one predictable story after the next from this guy’s glory days, and to be honest you’ve watched enough good basketball that it takes a bit more for you to be impressed. And you’re wondering where the fuck Tetsuya is and wishing he’d show up with those drinks already and save you from this conversation.
“Well well, look at you. Little mind reader,” he smirks, leans in a little closer. The tequila doesn’t mix well with his breath. You crinkle your nose, lean back as much as you can.
Your fingers fiddle for your left hand, and you mentally berate yourself for accidentally dropping the missing ring down the sink a week prior. Normally, this is where’d you’d subtly—but obviously— display the band on your finger; a silent fuck off to whoever attempted to flirt with you. Now, though, it’s been sent to the jewelers. Your finger is empty. And your fuck off is about to become not so silent.
“Not hardly,” you force a laugh. Take a step back. “Just easy to guess.”
The guy laughs, way too loud for the quiet corner of the party and right in your face and just.. Annoying . Your nerves dwindle a little more, chip away at your patience. Your eye almost twitches, especially as he tries to lean in even closer.
“Well, maybe. By the way, speaking of easy—“
“Sorry, Kise-kun drank all the lemonade.”
It’s nearly comical how hard the guy jumps at the sudden presence beside the two of you. And you, despite a very slight flinch, have a reaction that is completely and utterly that of relief. Your smile is no longer forced as you reach forward to grab the drink Tetsuya is holding out to you.
“That’s alright. Thanks, babe.” You kiss his cheek, a natural affection that accompanies your gratefulness.
And you can literally see it, the gears turning in the guy's head as stares at you. You watch how his eyes dart to Kuroko's hand that’s giving you the drink—his left one, by chance—and then to your side where your left hand hangs. You can tell what he’s thinking, the ring on Tetsuya's hand and the lack of one on yours.
He opens his mouth. You want to bang your head into a brick wall.
“Not too smart, trying to be sneaky,” he smiles, loose-lipped and crooked, “Is a crowded party really the best place to hook up with a married man?”
What little patience you might’ve held within you is absolutely gone in an instant, ripped out of you in the silent gasp that slips through your lips at such an accusation. That fuck off is clawing its way up your throat, rolling along the bed of your tongue, and about to spew out of your frown tarnished lips.
But suddenly a fist is flying forward accompanied with a harsh clash of skin on skin, and the guy’s mouth is hanging open for a different reason entirely as he grips his jaw with staggering steps back.
“That was rude.”
Your eyes dart over to Tetsuya, whose face is as neutral as ever apart from the slight furrow in his brows. His head tips to the side a little and he shakes his fist out just once before he drops it to reach for your fingers. He laces them together, tugging you closer to him as he stares the guy down.
“And you don’t have to be sneaky when the married man is your husband,” Tetsuya notes with a hum, giving the guy one more glance before turning away from him entirely. “By the way.”
And if it were anyone else other than your husband leading you away you might’ve thought they were being snarky; a cheeky remark made in jest. But Tetsuya is honest in his lack of humor, his little to no sense of it, which almost makes his comment even funnier, since he was absolutely trying not to be. You bite the corner of your lip as he pulls you away, towards the ruckus of the rest of the party and away from your quiet corner that was infiltrated.
“Is your hand okay?” You ask as he leads you to one of the beer pong tables, watching a duel between riko and hyuga.
“It’s fine,” he nods, but still lets you lift it up to examine it with your own eyes regardless. “I’m ready for your ring to get fixed.”
“Why? Don’t like being confused for my sneaky link, hm?” You jibe, teasing little cant to your lips as you poke his side.
Tetsuya looks at you—a swirl in his eyes you only see every now and then, very seldom under very specific circumstances—one that makes you feel a little giddy inside. Then he’s letting go of your hand, sliding it around your waist and pulling you flush to him as he presses his lips to the side of your head.
“No.”
He squeezes your waist and huffs, ever so slightly, against the side of your face. And this time when he pulls back and you’re able to meet his eyes, a lump loops around your throat and a different type of giddy swirls around your stomach due to the implication swirling behind his baby blue irises.
“I really don’t.”

Been working on a new fic on the side, and I'm hoping to have it out sometime soon. I'm planning on it being relatively short (for me at least, lol!) with maybe two chapters or it just being a long oneshot.
I had this idea hit me hard when I went to visit Tanganikya Wildlife Park earlier this month and saw these cute babies being bottle fed:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
YES, THOSE ARE BABY SNOW LEOPARDS!! They were adorable and watching them gave me some seriously wonderful mdtb ideas.
What you need to know for this AU:
Madara is a single dad in this, raising a recently orphaned Kagami. His cousin Shisui can see Madara is edging on burnout, and suggests that he take Kagami to the wildlife park Shisui works at in an attempt to get them both to relax and have a little fun.
In the process Madara meets the capable (and very distracting) animal handler Tobirama who manages the care of the big cats for the park, including the nursery.
Shisui can see the sparks flying between them and, like any good wingman would, decides to help his very useless cousin win a date.
Here's a sneak peak below :3 Enjoy! :
“Uncle, look, look! There’s cousin Shisui!”
Madara barely bit back a sigh as he was all but pulled towards the waving figure of his own uncle’s eldest son who stood just beyond the turnstiles of Konoha’s Wildlife Park with a warm smile on his face.
“I see him, Kagami-kun,” Madara reassured Kagami as he allowed the boy to lead them towards Shisui through the modest bustle of people heading to and from the giftshop which sat adjacent to the entrance they had just exited.
He knew he should correct Kagami’s manhandling, but it was the most excited he’d seen his nephew in weeks since Shisui had first suggested bringing Kagami to the park. His cousin had been nice enough to offer to give them a behind the scenes tour even though he knew Shisui was just as busy as Madara was. As one of the park’s program managers that oversaw the various animal handlers that worked within the park, Shisui had somehow been able to pull strings to make their visit possible, and Madara was beyond grateful for it even though he strongly suspected Shisui was likely to ask for a favor in return.
Madara couldn't say he minded the way Shisui had continued to try and force himself into Madara's sphere the last few months, when before they'd seen each other maybe once a year, if that. He probably owed Shisui more than a few favors in totality, honestly, if he thought back on all that Shisui had done for him lately.
They all were still reeling from the unexpected loss of Kou and his wife to a horrific car accident nearly a year ago, but his nephew most of all. Kagami’s entire life had been upended in a short amount of time, and it was understandably taking some time for the boy to heal and work through his loss.
Madara and Izuna had quickly moved to do what they could to pick up the pieces, Madara by taking in his older brother’s son and Izuna by chipping in to help with smoothing out the legal aspects Madara hadn’t been prepared to face down on his own. As a well known corporate lawyer, Izuna had been invaluable in guiding them through the probate process as well as the legal guardianship considerations they’d had to undertake in order for Madara to legally adopt Kagami. Dealing with the loss of Kou had been hard enough to stomach, but all of the paperwork they’d had to complete in addition to divesting of Kou’s estate had been a special kind of hell that Madara never wanted to experience again.
Only now were things starting to begin to feel a little more normal more days than not, even though Madara still hadn’t quite wrapped his head around the fact he’d essentially become a father in all but name. He didn’t know how Kou and his wife had done it, frankly. Kagami was a good child, but he was a handful to say the least. At seven the boy had more energy than Madara ever remembered having even at Kagami's age, and Madara continually found himself exhausted beyond reason no matter what he did.
Maybe it would be easier with another person in the picture to help lighten the load so to speak, but Madara hadn’t been the most social of people even before adopting Kagami, both out of choice and because his job as a very in demand ophthalmic surgeon made it difficult at the best of times to find any time to get out to meet people.
It hadn’t gotten any calmer, truthfully. Especially now that he’d had to structure things a bit more tightly to make certain his schedule was more predictable so he could be home with Kagami during normal hours.
It was good Izuna was always willing to fill in for him if his own schedule permitted, but it was another layer of stress Madara hadn’t had to deal with before, and he was only just beginning to grow used to having to fit his life around another human being’s.
To be frank, Madara very much needed a vacation. Kagami did, too. Unfortunately such a thing wasn't possible at the moment for a variety of reasons, which was where Shisui's brilliant idea came into play.
“There’s my favorite little man!” Shisui beamed down at Kagami, making a show of looking him up and down. “You’re looking a little bigger, Kagami-kun.”
“That’s cause he is,” Madara cut in, not even bothering to fight back the sigh he let out. The amount of clothing Kagami was going through was simply ridiculous at the moment. “He’s grown another three inches since you saw him in February.”
Shisui’s eyebrows shot up at that, his surprise not faked in the slightest as he stared down at Kagami with a blatantly impressed expression.
“No kidding? You’re going to be eating Madara-san out of house and home, soon at the rate you’re going.”
“No I’m not!” Kagami giggled at that, looking quite pleased with himself and Madara lightly scuffed the boy’s hair, unable to help the fond look he directed down at his young nephew.
“Yeah, you actually are,” Madara dryly insisted, before his hand came to rest atop Kagami’s messy head of hair.
“Kou was a tall bas–” Shisui started to say only to quickly correct his choice of wording when Madara shot him a look hot enough to melt steel, “tall dude. Your mama, too. My money’s on you being just as tall when you grow up, Kagami-kun. So, ready to see some animals?”
Madara had to give it to Shisui, it was a near perfect diversion away from his near slip up, but unlike Kagami who had perked up at the promise of seeing the park's inhabitants and had already forgotten their previous conversation, Madara made sure to level a flat look at his cousin that served as a wordless warning he knew Shisui would understand implicitly.
“Right! Well, let’s get going then!” Shisui quickly clapped his hands together in a near hysterical manner, and Madara had to stifle the snort that very nearly escaped him in response.

Kagami showing off a photo of his dad.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"So, this is what your dad looks like, Kagami-kun?"
"In his younger years, yeah. He's got shorter hair now."
"He looks very cool."

I have this headcanon where Gojyo is reincarnated into a full human, and he's Kagami's dad.

I’m in Japan this week and I has my first sighting of a Showa magical girl in the wild.
Technically, I guess this is Totoko Yowai (弱井 トト子) from Osomatsu-kun (おそ松くん) instead of Atsuko Kagami (加賀美あつ子) from Akko-chan’s Got A Secret (ひみつのアッコちゃん). But, the two characters are identical and interchangeable in Fujio Akatsuka (赤塚 不二夫)’s “star system.”

just saw the last post and it made me very sensitive idk why but can you please write something like yn giving comfort/ emotional support for the knb boys (you pick) seeing those babies being comforted by their so is such a cute trope: (
GOM + Kagami - Getting comforted by s/o after a loss
Akashi
It was quiet in the locker room now. Everyone had left, and even the few stragglers of spectators who were in the stands were making their way home. Everyone except Akashi.
You waited patiently for him to come out. Knowing this was a difficult time for him, even if he had been an exemplary sport after his loss, he was probably feeling a lot of emotions he’d never felt before. You wanted to be there for him.
“[Y/N]? What are you still doing here?”
You looked up as Akashi suddenly appeared. Showered. Dressed. And out of his uniform. He looked like he did almost every other day you’d seen him. “I wanted to wait for you.”
He gave a soft smile and shrugged his bag up. “Thank you [Y/N]. I appreciate it. Really though, I’m fine. I didn’t think I would feel this way but…it’s a new experience. A new opportunity for learning.”
You offer him a soft smile back. Still in awe at how well Akashi was taking his first ever loss.
The two of you walk out of the stadium, where everyone had cleared out of now, as it started to rain. “Oh dear. That’s not good.”
“Must be a sign.”
“You certainly can’t walk to the station like this. Let me call a car and they can drop you off before they take me to the hotel.”
“Thank you Akashi-kun.” You tell him. Genuinely thankful that you wouldn’t have to walk in the rain as he pulled out his phone.
He unlocked the screen but then just held his phone there for a long moment. A blank, sort of wide eye stare illuminated by the screen. “….Akashi-kun?”
“I can’t call him.” You blinked at Akashi. Not sure what he was talking about. “I can’t call my father.”
You realize that his hand holding the phone was starting to shake. The pink cloud of his sportsmanship suddenly breaking away to dark clouds of doubt. He’d have to tell his father he lost. He’d have to tell his father than he failed.
Stepping forward you quickly wrap your arms around Akashi and hold him tight. The phone dropped from his hand with a clatter as he clung to you back. Drowned out by the sudden downpour that opened up from the sky. They could call for a car, or a cab, or his father later. They didn’t have to do that all right now.
Aomine
You sat in the waiting room, listening to the vague sounds of local TV news as you scrolled through your phone. Looking up once more to check the clock.
You knew that Aomine’s appointment was going to take a while, but you didn’t think this long. You were tempted to ask the nurse again how long this was going to take but you’d already used up your 3 allotted asks, and she was giving you the stink eye every time you got up to get a drink or use the restroom.
The double doors slide open, and Aomine walked through. His hands stuffed in his pockets. His eyes trained on the linoleum.
“Hey. How did it go? Did you get everything squared away?” You asked. Trying to sound chipper despite having sat here for several mind-numbing hours. He didn’t answer, or look up at you, and just kept walking out the door. “Aomine? Hey, Aomine!”
You sprint up to him once out the door and grab his arm. He jerked away roughly and kept walking. “Hey. What’s wrong. You asked me to come with you and drive you back home after your appointment, and now you’re blowing me off.”
“I wanna walk.”
“Walk? Aomine we’re not even in the same district as your apartment. Aomine….Aomine stop. Will you talk to me?”
He made it to the end of the block with you following him. This dazed look in his eyes like he was thinking about just walking into traffic. “My knee is shot.” He told you. “Doc said even with surgery & PT they can’t fix it.” The realization suddenly hit you before he even said it. “I can’t play basketball anymore.”
Your hand covered your mouth and you felt tears well up in your eyes. Basketball was everything to Aomine. If he couldn’t play, you didn’t know what he’d do with himself. “Aomine-kun…I’m so sorry.”
“Whatever. Had to end sometime.”
You were able to convenience him to go back to the car. He couldn’t walk home from here anyway. You made it about four turns from the hospital before Aomine suddenly curled up in the front seat and started to cry. Shock finally fading away and breaking open the dam inside him.
You immediately pulled the car over and turned on your hazards, before unbuckling your seat belt and draping yourself over him in a hug as best you could. “It’s gonna be ok Aomine.”
“What am I gonna do now?” He wailed.
You didn’t know the answer to that. But there had to be something he could do besides basketball. The two of you just had to figure it out.
Kise
“Ahhhh….[Y/N]cchi, I’m so nervous!”
“Why are you so nervous? Didn’t your manager say you were a shoo-in for this job?”
The two of you were on the way to a big model shoot in town. One for a national campaign, and one of Kise’s first. Up until now he had only been in local, albeit high profile, campaigns for his agency. This one would put his face all over Japan. His first real big break.
“They did, but it’s never done until it’s done. Ya know?”
“Just be confident!” You encouraged as you made your way up the stairs. “Once they see you, I’m sure they’ll book you right on the spot. You’re great Kise. Don’t you forget it.”
The blonde offered you a smile as you made your way further into the venue and on the shoot.
The two of you marveled at the size of it. National campaigns definitely had a lot more equipment and buy in than the local campaigns apparently.
You had just made your way past guest services when you saw Kise’s manager hurrying up to you. “Ah, manager-san. Hello! I hope I’m on time for the shoot.”
“Kise…there’s been a…slight change.”
You both look surprised as his manager explained that the campaign executives had decided to go a different direction. Something a little more edgy and dark. An aesthetic that Kise couldn’t fit into, in their opinion, so he had been cut.
“My sincerest apologies for not getting in touch with you before you arrived. I was just informed myself. Don’t worry, I’ll let them know that you still arrived and see to it that they pay for your time. This might not have worked out this time, but your promptness and team effort will really make headway on the next one.”
“Oh yes…of course.” Kise replied in his pseudo-positive attitude. Meanwhile the hand holding yours was gripping it very tight. “Please let them know that I appreciate their consideration. And that I look forward to hopefully working together on the next one.”
The two men bow, and you make your way back to the elevator. “I’m so sorry Kise.”
“I didn’t even get my foot in the door.” He replied. Finally revealing how crestfallen he was now that the doors were closed and you were alone. “Literally. They didn’t even let me in the door.”
He laughed once, but it quickly turned into a gulped sob he was trying to hold back. To which you quickly scoop him up in your arms for a hug. “Don’t let those jerks see you cry.”
“No. No. Of course not.” He agreed. Wiping his face and smiling again just as the doors opened. “Hey, there’s always an opportunity for me to become and actor, eh?”
Midorima
Today was the day. The test scores were out.
Shutoku continued with the, what you considered, barbaric tradition of posting everyone’s test scores out in the open for all to see. For people to judge and, in some cases, openly mock their classmates for their academic achievements.
You found your score very quickly. A respectable middle of the pack.
You then looked for Midorima’s score on the front run sheet and felt your gut drop when he didn’t break top 3. He was going to be crushed.
Scanning the crowd, you spot the green haired mop of Midorima’s head walking away and chase after him. “Midorima-kun!” He stopped and turned to face you. “Are you ok?”
“Yes. Why?”
“Well I….I know you were hoping to get top 3 on the exams. I just wanted to make sure you’re ok.”
“I’m not that fragile.” He said in a gruff tone as he hiked his bag higher. “I’ll just have to try harder next time.”
“I suppose that’s a good attitude.” You add as you follow along with him. “I know you worked hard this time too.”
“Man proposes, God disposes.”
You sigh as you hear Midorima’s motto. You knew he was trying to be practical about this, but you knew he was disappointed.
Stepping forward a couple paces, you turn and wrap your arms around his chest. Giving him a big hug. “You did a good job Midorima-kun.”
You felt him tense for a moment. Then relax. Then a hand came up to softly land on your shoulder. “Thank you [Y/N].”
Releasing him, you smile up at Midorima. “Do you want me to help you study for the next one?”
“That would be nice. Thank you.”
Mursakibara
It was usually quite around this time at school. Most clubs and activities had ended for the day, with everyone heading him. You had just finished up your club and were waiting for Murasakibara to finish up with his practice.
You waited and waited until you saw him. Shuffling out into the hall with a much slower gait than usual. “Murasaki-kun? Is everything ok?”
“No.” He replied quickly. “Muro-chin is mad at me.”
“Mad at you?” That was unusual. “Why is he mad at you?” The purple haired giant shrugged. “Are you sure he’s mad then?”
“Yes.” He answered, again quickly. “He yelled at me and called me stupid.”
Your eyes widen in alarm. That was very unlike Himuro, who was usually so patient with his teammate. “I’m…sorry that happened Murasaki-kun. Maybe he’s just going through a lot right now.”
“I don’t care.” He seemed to really mean it. “He shouldn’t have yelled at me. I’m not stupid.”
You could see that that really bothered him. People always assumed that because Murasakibara was a little childish and lazy, that he was stupid. He wasn’t. Usually he didn’t care too much about what people thought of him, but he respected Himuro and his opinion. And for him to call him stupid really hurt his feelings.
“I’m sorry Murasaki-kun. I’m sure he didn’t mean it. He’ll apologize.”
“I’m not stupid.”
Stepping forward, you wrap your arms around Murasakibara’s waist after he repeated the insult. Clearly very hurt. Squeezing him tight you told him, “I know you’re not,” and just held on to him for a while. His attitude seemed to improve a little after the hug and you told him, “let’s stop by the parfait shop on the way home. My treat.”
