......I'd forgotten Aaron had given the twokins blacksmith a copy of the enclavers crossbows. The enclavers incredibly powerful and extremely illegal to make without express permission crossbow. The crossbow he got all three members of the royal family to give written permission for him to have one made. The crossbow he's given to the twokins blacksmith. @muffinlance holy crap. Not just an enclaver revolt he's trying to kick off then....

i just bought fox's tongue and kirin's bone, blacked out, and before i knew it i'd read the whole thing and all the skin stealer's son chapters that you've released. i adore it so so so so so much! i was curious, how many books do you anticipate will be in this series? have you planned it out, or is that question still open-ended for you? <3
The Book Fugue State is one of the highest compliments an author can receive <3
Re series length: I'm aiming for six books, but I think we all know what happens when authors say "the series will definitely be THIS long" (...then seven books later...)

Blue Moon
Dipping into FFXIV for this piece for @cinlat featuring miqo’te Fynta and Kirin and flipping the joyful romance I’ve had for the others in this series a little bit upside down! I loved putting this one together.

Kirin
Kirin is a recurring creature in the FF series, most notably depicted as a summon with healing abilities.
In East Asian mythology, Qilin (or Kirin in Japanese and Korean language) is a creature with characteristics of a chimera, which is said to appear with the arrival and passing of a wise sage or an illustrious ruler. Qilin represents luck, good omens, protection, and longevity. It is often described as being peaceful, refusing to walk on ground for fear of damaging a single blade of grass, and instead walking upon the clouds or water. Qilin's appearance varies in different myths. It generally looks similar to a Chinese dragon, but has a body shape of an ox, horse or deer and can also have fish fins, carp whiskers or a tail of a lion. It can be of any color and sometimes has a jewel-like brilliance. Its voice is said to resemble the tinkling of bells, chimes, and the wind.
(I don't know about you, but Qilin is becoming my favorite mythological being)

How would we survive without side character comic relief 😅
Me, trying to hold on to this script
Dried Flower: Our room in July
Emotionally all over the place. Like, I saw the rejection coming but I was still shocked and confused.
