October shopping

October meant a lot of packages and a lot of stress related to them. I got an order of second-hand merch from eBay - first from July 1st. Of course it did not went smoothly. EBay automatically added the calculated VAT to my total and guess what - my customs made me pay the VAT again... The new system is full of problems which neither side wants to solve, resulting in poor buyers paying a ton of extra into the pockets of the state and a giant company. I did file a complaint but not want to risk another returned package (let’s not even start about that - they resent it after I paid the VAT and related fees) - so I paid and wait for the result of the complaint...

Other than this, I am happy with this haul. Since ordering manga from Japan is difficult and expensive now, I turned towards the English releases. I was hesitate about buying Wotaku for a while, thinking the price for the volumes are over the top. But then I figured out those are actually omnibus editions and larger than normal manga (compare to Given 6 next to them)  - taking these into consideration (and getting a 10% off coupon at bookdep) - I went for the complete series. It is gorgeous and came just in time with the 3rd OVA just being released. :3 The other titles are mainly ongoing series and I picked up a shoujo - don’t be shocked though, it has BL elements in it. :) It’s a cute starter volume, I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Now onto merch. A few used/second-hand figures I wanted to have for a while: Rimuru from Tensura, Waver from Lord El-Melloi II (Fate) and chibis of Tobio, Kise and Kasamatsu.

I’m most excited about the gorgeous Fushiguro Megumi figure by Kotobukiya. It looks stunning and a nice addition to my collection. Talking about Megumi - found 2 of his prize figures on sale so bought them. One is (sorry) awful, the other is decent with his pretty face. I got a Yuuji, too - pretty happy about his quality, too.

There is a black sheep among the boys - I was never interested in Miku figures until I saw this little monster type noodle cup stopper. Perfect for Halloween. XD I got another noodle cup stopper - Sesshoumaru-sama is (reluctantly) joining his brother, Inuyasha. XD

Entering chibi category: the adorable Look Up versions of Gojou and Yuuji came. Megumi has just been shipped, so it will take a while until the trio will be together (did not buy Nobara though). Talking about shounen - a new set of Nyaruto kittens have been released. This is the last set I buy in this series, since all the characters I wanted are now in my possession.

Next part of the batch are gacha figures/merch. The latest KnY Onemutan set, cute keychain/stand set of JJK main characters, Tensura chibis (another trio is on its way) and last but not least, rainbow cake props for my gay (nendo) sons. :3
