I'm just leaving a request for when you get to it absolutely no rush but pls more lunch club schlatt im feral for him
absolutely anon <3 i love this sm!! will be about meeting him at a party the m*sfits (unfortunate) were hosting in los angeles circa early 2020 era <3
i've written a lot about lc schlatt a lot already but idgaf i love writing more <3333 this turned into a whole fic hehe
nsfw under the cut, minors dni!! 18+ only.
you were dragged along by a friend who was invited by their friend. because they had to go to a huge youtuber party and you weren't gonna let them go alone.
the house is HUGE, wasn't a surprise that you lost the group as soon as you went inside. you decide to wait by the drinks on the off-chance someone you know would show up. none of your friends did, but someone else did.
out of all the creators you watched who were at this party, you were a casual fan of jschlatt's content. you were around when he did a face reveal, shocked that he was this cute guy your age instead of a 45-year-old man (it's the voice, sue me).
even in the darkness, you recognized him. you were too stunned to say anything as he grabbed the only water bottle in the area.
"you, uh... you want anything?" he asks. that voice. that voice you've only heard through headphones was now two feet in front of you. you shake your head.
"i, uh, i don't feel comfortable getting drunk at a party where i don't know anyone." you say, looking down at your hands.
"fair enough. uh... ah fuck, i got the last water, 'm sorry."
"i-it's fine," you take a deep breath. "uh, a-are you jschlatt? your voice sounds really familiar."
he chuckles. "yeah..."
"oh wow," you laugh. "i knew it."
it's silent for a moment before schlatt pipes up again. "d'ya know anyone here?"
"i came with my friend, who is nowhere to be found. their friend apparently knows whoever is hosting and got us in."
"ah," he takes another sip of water. "you can't find your friend?"
you shake your head. "whatever. they'll only find me if they need a ride home. i don't care anymore." you grab a can of beer and walk away from the drink table, trying to find a quiet place to stay. schlatt follows you for a moment before taking you to his room upstairs.
it's a breath of fresh air. the music is muffled and schlatt's temporary room is spacious and (mostly) clean. he invites you to sit on the bed with him and you continue your conversation from earlier. he's actually a lot nicer than you expected him to be (considering his online persona). and he's even cuter in person.
soon enough you find yourself leaning in to kiss him. he's a bit nervous and doesn't kiss you back.
"sorry. i, uh, never kissed anyone before." he confesses.
"that's okay. i've only kissed one other person and it's been a while since that happened." you say. that makes him relax a little. he cups your cheek and leans in, hesitantly pressing a soft kiss to your lips. you pull him closer, moaning softly as you put your hands in his hair. he whines.
you pull away. schlatt's face is tinted red and hints of your lipstick are all over his lips. "i, uh, wow..." he murmurs. you smile, moving closer and straddling him. he's already rock-hard underneath you. "s-sorry..."
"oh my gosh, don't be, it's okay." you grind your hips down, feeling his dick twitch in his jeans.
"h-honey, please... 'm gonna... b-bust. w-wanna do it i-inside ya..." he whimpers. you nod, removing your dress and panties. he kicks his jeans and boxers off. he leans to the left, opens a drawer and takes out a condom.
"oh thank god, i was prepared to go out and ask for one," you giggle. schlatt doesn't respond, grabbing your hips and pulling you on top of him. you ease yourself inside him, and before you can start moving, he groans loudly.
"fuck, 'm so sorry."
"did you..."
"yeah."
"oh."
"w-wait, i don't wanna leave you hangin'," schlatt says. he helps you lay next to him. "can i touch you?"
"y-yes... please..." you whine. he coats his fingers with your wetness before slowly sliding them inside you. you clench around him, whining as he begins thrusting them in and out of you. he rubs your clit with his other hand and before long, you're coming all over his fingers.
"fuck, that was... so good..."
"yeah? it wasn't too, uh..."
"totally fine. uh, we can always do it again, dunno how long you'll be here but um... i can give you my number."
"yeah?"
"yeah."
after you both clean up and get dressed, you exchange phone numbers. the party is slowly dying down. your friend texts you that they don't need a ride so you leave. as you drive back, you get a message from schlatt, already eagerly asking for your next meeting.

Armys indifference towards jimin is eye opening to me. Has it always been this way? I think ever since I became a solo I’ve started to see things a lot differently that’s why I don’t outtightly judge the Armys that make it seem like they’re making it up because I was them at one point and unless you’re heavily biased towards jimin or a solo stan you’re just not going to see the vitriol hate he receives. I used to be a shooter account in 2020-2021 I had a large platform defending the members all the time and even though I biased jimin, I never saw even a fraction of the shit I see now as a solo. That’s why when armys say “they all get hate” it’s coming from them only seeing what their timeline provided to them, they’re not going out of their way to see what Muri or people like him say about jimin and no one is bringing it to their timeline and this is not me defending them because I think it’s ridiculous to not even acknowledge it but in a way I understand why they are the way they are. But the part where you said they’re not to6 and most bias the two youngest members is true, taekookers are the majority of the fandom and a lot of them see jimin as the big threat not only in the fake relationship they have made up but musically too, jimin does nothing and you’ll have people constantly name drop him and his music is loved but fans even though I’d say he doesn’t have nearly as many solo stans as the other two. I think the fandom in general hold Jungkook to a much higher standard than the rest especially jimin, I remember when jimin got a #1 and a lot of them were saying “wait until Jungkook comes” like it was a threat and how he will outdo jimin like they have something to prove. It’s pathetic to witness it everytime. Ot7 is a myth no matter how much they sugarcoat it, even the members are liars, they do see each other as competition maybe less of jimin and Jin but most of them care about the charts and how they perform
No, the current indifference was a recent change. Mostly because of how well face and lc did in comparison to dday which was the catalyst. Armys have always been “fine” with jimin but almost purely in the context of bts. He’s the only member that they never allow to be anything but an extension of bts and they’re pushing him even more into that role now because they find him digestible as the group cheerleader. It’s always “jimin and his brothers” as way diminish him as an individual or use him as a prop. It’s also why Jimin can’t have anything to himself. Not even the hate that he gets because armys always have to trivialize it by making it a maknae line issue and it’s done purposefully.
They’ve crafted the narrative that pjm solos are the worst, so whenever something proves the opposite they have to derail it. And that’s why I can never give armys the the benefit of the doubt of them not knowing about the hate jimin receives at the hands of jjks/tkkrs/kths because I know they see it. They follow their accounts and they interact with them (which is why I curse the day hybe hijacked the 7 symbol and made it jk’s brand)They just do their best to shield those groups from callouts because in doing so they’d be attaching th and jk’s name to them and they don’t want those two to get dragged. But anything with jimin attached to it? Automatically in the wrong and gets witch hunted.
I’ll never forget when a jimin biased army exposed a shooter on twitter for being a giant kth solo and jimin anti and armys outright defended them despite overwhelming proof that it was the truth. They even ran the jimin biased person off site because that account being a blink doxxer was more important. That’s when I knew that the bulk of armys do not care to “defend” jimin past blinks or the kpop stans who attack him from the outside. And even when they do that, it’s still to his detriment cause a lot of times they’ll offer him up as bait using his achievements unprovoked and get him dragged in the process.
That’s another thing in itself too. Armys are also only okay with what jimin has accomplished if they can lord it over kpop stans because as soon as we bring up the fact that jimin achieved what he did with no payola or label aid, all of a sudden it’s shade to jk. I used to HATE whenever armys would be under jimin’s chart tweets with that “just wait until jk debuts” BS because it just shows how desperate they were to restore that status quo and the hidden rule in the fandom.
Jimin is allowed to be good but he can’t be better than anybody else. He’s popular but tk are the most famous members. He can dance but hobi’s the best out the group. He can have writing and composing credits but it will never compare to rapline. Jimin has always been the outlier in bts because he’s always underestimated and put into a set role. Imagine he’s the only one out of maknae line that put any effort into his album and armys still ended up centering face around joon when that documentary came out just because he gave jimin advice. Not only that, but armys also do the most to find any way possible to give tk credit for those two albums that they don’t deserve. And all because those two didn’t live up to their own pretentiousness.
This isn’t news cause I’ve shared this same sentiment before but I never believed that jk deserved the high pedestal people put him on. He doesn’t do anything significantly better than anyone else in the group but because of his looks he gets that extra boost. I’ll never lie and claim that he’s not talented but that’s about it. He’s given more room to not live up to expectations while still getting heralded as the group prodigy. And it’s like, okay? But how long will you wear that out before you actually do something worthwhile to live up to that title?
There’s plenty of things that have made me realize that outside of the group, some members just don’t appeal to me. So it’s not that they potentially see each other as competition that bothers me or makes me think that they’re liars but some decisions that have been made that has made me resentful to some degrees towards them. And I don’t think that’ll change tbh.

Although he built only three religious buildings Le Corbusier’s impact on postwar religious architecture has undoubtedly been significant and lasting. With the Ronchamp church he not only designed a frequently, and more or less successfully, copied building but also unfettered a new creative potential in church architecture that set an example for a more sculptural, liberated approach to the former. In their book “Sacred Concrete - The Churches of Le Corbusier”, published in its second and expanded edition in 2020 by Birkhäuser, Flora Samuel and Inge Linder-Gaillard exclusively focus on Ronchamp, La Tourette and Firminy, their genesis and the unusual selection of Le Corbusier as church architect (although he had a deep interest in religion and faith). In addition the authors also address Le Corbusier’s project for a grotto church in Sainte Baume, a fascinating design and the architect’s first encounter with the institution Roman Catholic Church. A crucial figure for Corbusier’s involvement with the Church was Marie-Alain Couturier, a progressive Dominican father with whom he got along very well and who more or less directly got him the different religious commissions. An interesting yet speculative aspect of the book is the authors’ conclusion that LC’s religiousness was directed at women, namely his wife and mother, who were central to his spirituality and whom he turned into quasi-religious figures. Whether or not one is interested in the spiritual life of Le Corbusier: the book provides a comprehensive overview of Corbusier’s religious projects and also traces their reception over the decades following their construction, a very interesting aspect that underscores their continuing relevance.

So now they're filtering LC's sales from iTunes AND Amazon too??!!!
Tumblr media
This is going too far... if they're so confident in the other song with all that payola, why to continue sabotaging Jimin by filtering out sales from other platforms outside of the Official US store??
I'm dead serious when I say that if you stand with the company at this point then you are worst than TRASH.
I have never seen a record label be this openly shady and demeaning to one of its active artists in order to hype another. I mean paid articles to downplay all that he achieved during 'FACE' debut? Reducing his most Historic No.1 on Hot100 as "not good enough to beat some white racist" on the charts??
Comparing streams?? When one has been on a disadvantage while the other received it all on a silver platter without even lifting a finger???
Either the rumors on the streets are true and he IS leaving Hybe:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[The two bottom screenshots are from investors forums where they were discussing how bad the Hybe stocks have been since 7 release. The rumor of JM leaving the company is not new, but in the years I've been in this fandom I've never seen investors or shareholders talking about the possibility of a BTS member leaving or being worried how this possibility will affect the stocks further]
Or they're really trying to keep him TRAPPED in that cursed company till 2025 to continue the "we are family" facade & exploit a group that hasn't been able to put out good music since the end of 2020...

Hey Ahmed! Don't worry about the response time, I'd much prefer a delayed thoughtful response than a rushed one, after all! For my first question: The outskirts are known for having all sorts of dangerous creatures, especially since they likely had to be kicked out from the City. More interesting to me, are the Outreaches, where presumably the K Corp singularity / Whatever the Pallid Whale is afraid of resides. Do you have any interest in exploring the monsters of the Outskirts/reaches, or are you more going to stay more city focused (Sweepers and the like)? For my second question, Assuming Angela and crew are even able to restore Carmen, what would they do with her? I know everyone would likely focus on city problems and all that. But we both know the more interesting thing: Resolution and angst, baby! How would Carmen try to resolve issues with Tiphereth, (Also makes me wonder about Ayin... So excited for Epilogue 2!) Ayin, and Angela?
Dear hncdhnmfr,
Hello once more! As always, it's a pleasure to see your asks within my inbox, and once more, I see that you have quite the interesting asks! Although I know you don't mind the delays, allow me to apologise for nevertheless taking so much time to get to your ask, I hope the answer is worth the wait!
For your first question, it's an interesting one. I am quite fascinated by the monsters of the Outreaches/Outskirts and all of the lore implications they have. I think that eventually, PM will explore the Outskirts somehow, as they did mention wanting an Outskirts exploration game in their post-LoR interview (2020 or 2021, I think?), so I believe we will eventually get a glimpse as to what lies there, but as for what I believe lies there, it's difficult to tell. I think that, if K-Corp's singularity is but a child and yet possesses this much strength, it is certainly worrying to say the least to wonder what stronger, more powerful and more unhinged monsters lie there.
While I think it would be fun to explore such a setting, the lack of details makes coming up with anything but short stories a little difficult, and I admit that my favourite parts of LC/LoR are the Sephirahs and the main cast in general. I don't think I'll focus on the Sweepers again for a while, though, so if I do find myself returning to write about an Outskirts/Outreaches setting in the future, I will attempt to explore them a little more thoroughly, even if I don't think I'll be able to do too much due to the lack of information surrounding them. So the short answer is that it'll depend on the setting of the next story I write that takes place in the Outskirts/Outreaches, really.
For your second question, that's a question I've thought about for a long, long time! It would be such a delightfully angsty dynamic that I've thought about it for a while for any potential AiP sequel of sorts (if something of that nature ever comes to fruition), as the characterisation of Carmen within it would be pivotal to the whole story; Carmen, if she manages to overcome her own Distortion, would still have to battle endlessly with her mind's worries and anxieties. After all, we know for a fact that her heart's fragility is what even led her down the dark path of self-harm and what kickstarted the foundation of the Lobotomy Corporation and, by extension, the creation of the Library. And while I don't doubt that she'd have recognised the overarching and painful effects of her hasty decision, whoever said that her sheer guilt would ever leave her? After all, if she felt enough guilt for Enoch's death that she was willing to to end it all, imagine how she'd feel knowing that she either directly or indirectly responsible for countless deaths thanks to the Distortions, the Ensemble, the people she whispered to as the Distortion, etc...
Now, of course, it's true that she likely had no real control over herself at that point in time, but I believe she would still blame herself for the pain she caused back then, and as such, it's very plausible she would enter a depression spiral as she finds herself surrounded by people who care for her and want the best for her now.
People who, in her eyes at least, she failed.
Surrounded by the Librarians again, Ayin, Angela and Tiphy, I think Carmen would go through an experience similar to the one narrated in Kali's page in LoR; she'd have rapid mood switches between laughing, crying, and just standing motionless. While I said that she would recognise that self-harm is never the answer, perhaps, in her bleakest and darkest moments, she feels that it would be best for everyone involved if she were the one to truly fade away forever this time around. I also think that she would almost resemble Hod, in a way, attempting to atone for her sins towards those she knew she hurt most, such as Tiphereth and Angela, and I think it would create an even more complicated dynamic with Tiphy, as both sides would feel as if they hurt the other, and with Carmen's rapid mood shifts, it'd not difficult to imagine a scenario where Carmen is attempting to initiate small talk with Tiphy, having the chat veer into the past's events, and then having Carmen wrap her arms around Tiphy while she fights back tears and apologises endlessly, leaving a confused and scared Tiphy who just returns to hug until Ayin or Angela come over.
Ah, delicious, nutritious angst~
I think Ayin and Angela would act as her caretakers, in a way. They'd be the ones to understand the shifts in attitude she underwent while understanding the trauma she has to face; they'd faced similar ones, after all. They'd try to get her used to normal life again while making sure she'd not faking he recovery just to make them happy as part of the atonement she so desperately craves.
Of course, that's not mentioning the dynamic with Ayin and her finally resolving the endless romantic tension between the two of them, Tiphy and Angela attempting to form a sort of familial cohesive unit with her...there's plenty of entertaining and fun dynamic, but as I always say: All good things come after mountains and mountains of angst~
So, what do you think? I certainly hope this was worth the wait! As always, thank you for your detailed and fun asks, hncdhnmfr, and as always, be well, take care, and see ya'! I hope to see more of your asks soon!

... In light of the last thing I reblogged, since I'm not actually sure if I ever I ever told folks here...
Mental health/medical diagnosis info under the cut.
I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2010 following the birth of my son. I'd had anxiety, depression, and what I now know is OCD symptoms for years at that point, but they all got much worse after kiddo was born. I believe I've shared here before that I was very ill while pregnant, and nearly died before and during my emergency C-section that bright kiddo into the world. I have very few memories of my pregnancy but the ones I do have are impressed into my brain like the world's most depressing stamp collection: not neat pictures, but deep grooves that form shapes and can be laid over one another to see the cumulative chaos, the terror that I still feel every time someone puts a blood pressure cuff around my arm, the dissociation from my body that I still have because all I can remember was it hurting.
I had cptsd before I ever got pregnant, but my pregnancy made my symptoms so much worse, and a doctor who spoke to me for three seconds gave me the "convenient" diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I was a young woman in college, it was 2010, and he never asked me anything about my life. This diagnosis wasn't corrected until 2022.
I'm sharing this because in the past I frequently blogged about being bipolar. I wasn't bipolar though. What I thought was mania was just my behavior when I was triggered beyond my ability to ignore. What I thought was depression was... Well, it was depression. My life was miserable, my ex is a horrible human being who deserves to be thrown in a deep pit full of snakes, my family hates me and acts like it, I lived in Texas of all places, and on top of that I was working in a dead end job that I couldn't ever seem to escape.
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to move in with my friend LC and her family. We weathered the worst of lockdown together, our children becoming close friends, and I'm grateful for the time, energy, space, and love LC afforded me to begin recovering from a lifetime of wounds.
I'm 2021, I moved to New York state to live with my best friend, my heart's companion, @tofixtheshadows. Dea has been the best partner I could want as I grappled with my changing sense of self, the sheer madness and unreality of what my life used to be. I am so fortunate to call her my best friend and to be able to share my life with someone who knows me and wants to help me be better.
I found a psychiatrist in 2022 who changed my life when she said, "I believe everything you say that happened to you. I think bipolar disorder is a convenient diagnosis for a man to give a traumatized young woman when he isn't interested in doing his job well. You aren't bipolar, Anne. You have PTSD."
I was shocked. I shouldn't have been, since I already knew Dea thought I had PTSD. But it seemed so out of left field to me, that... Well, that maybe there hadn't been anything inherently wrong with me in the first place, as I had been led to believe, but that the years of horrible actions happening around and to me had just taken their toll.
It was liberating. Scary, but good.
I've been working with my psychiatrist and a therapist since to try and build more tolerance, better coping skills, and to process my trauma. It's slow going. Life doesn't stop because I need EMDR. But it's ultimately been so rewarding, and I'm still only in the early stages of the work.
Last year, for basically the first time in my adult life, I was able to go off of all my mood altering medications. I just didn't need them anymore.
I'm still in treatment and working toward goals that will probably take a while. But I am happy. I'm actually happy for the first time in my entire life. And to me, that's pretty much everything.

To outsiders, SpaceX’s site in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley, where the company is ramping up to launch the world’s tallest rocket, inspires awe for the future. Local officials are starry-eyed about the jobs it brings. But for Brownsville resident Emma Guevara, who grew up visiting Boca Chica Beach, life in the facility’s shadow has a more dystopian feel.
Since launches and testing began in 2019, there are beach closures, fires, and explosions to contend with. Guevara sees rocket detritus and noise spoiling one of Texas’s least developed coastlines, a stunning matrix of public lands and wildlife refuges where migrating birds visit and imperiled birds, sea turtles, and mammals live. She notices white-collar arrivals gentrifying her U.S.-Mexico border city, where poverty rates are high.
“We’re forcing this idea we need to colonize Mars, when in reality all we’re doing is colonizing Brownsville,” says Guevara, a South Texas Environmental Justice Network member. “People who have enough money to make money off of this think it’s a great idea. The rest of us, we’re just seeing this facility create more and more negative impacts.”
Concerns mounted in the last year as locals and environmentalists urged the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to prepare an environmental impact statement for launches of SpaceX’s experimental Starship Super Heavy rockets at Boca Chica. In June, the FAA laid out 75 mitigation actions the company must take to get a go-ahead, but found a deeper review wasn’t needed. The decision flabbergasted Jared Margolis, a Center for Biological Diversity senior attorney, who says many actions don’t go far enough or are already required by law. David Newstead, who monitors birds for the Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program, has already correlated declines of the area’s Piping Plovers to launch activity at the site. “Nothing mitigates the damage done already,” he says of the FAA’s finding [...].
The high-stakes conflict is one of several created by the private space industry’s global growth [...]. Last year, for example, the FAA approved a contentious plan to fly rockets over Georgia’s Cumberland Island National Seashore (voters later nixed the idea). Audubon Florida and nine other groups have also been alarmed by early talk of developing LC-49, a site at the edge of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, for SpaceX’s use. They fear impacts to threatened Florida Scrub-Jays and curtailed public access to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore.

The narrative that majority of jokers are Jimin biased was always so funny to me. I still have my old jikook account and when I checked it I saw how many of them had Seven above Lc on their Spotify wrapped and Lc was released much earlier.
If they were Jimin biased they wouldn’t be jokers anymore. Look at Jimin biased armys, many of them ar starting to speak up about the unfair treatment while jokers are whining because we don’t like Jungkook and his privilaged ass.
Jimin biased jikookers have been mass leaving the ship since 2018 because of the Japan issue.
2019 because of mijoo.
2020 2021 2022 taekook being in their honeymoon era.
Jikookers are mad pjms don't kiss their asses, that's it. They want pjms to be their allies and they literally beg for pjms validation all the time.
That's why you don't see them demanding anything from Jungkook's fanbases, because they actually dgaf what they think of Jimin or how they hate on him 24/7, like how that bighit tweet is full of people hating on him right now. But they're not making "pls don't hate on Jimin" tweets about that, are they? No army is, the way none of them cared either when that Jimin CNN article came out after face calling him the biggest solo debut and the qrts were just hate.
They want pjms on their side because seeing hate against Jungkook hurts them, while they're literally just okay with people hating on Jimin.
They're also desperate to make their "jikook it boys" tweets, that's why they want pjms to include Jungkook in their tweets lmao. And I hope no pjm ever includes him. I know they used to, but they should stop because nobody is looking out for Jimin, I don't know why they're doing others favors by mentioning them in good spirits. If jikookers want to make their jikook it boys tweets, they should maybe have fanbases that do more than tweet "you're me im you" three times a day. Maybe this psych ward escapee herself should get her own account to hype them together instead of fighting air about an imaginary romantic relationship.
I won't even get into how her and another jikooker are making fun of Jimin with that "4th gen" comment.
Yes, Jimin had a very successful KOREAN song that he wrote and composed himself, in an album that he wrote and composed himself for a year while Jungkook had a successful English song about fucking women seven days a week.
One is objectively more admirable than the other.
Anyways. Tell me this doesn't sound like mental illness...

Maybe you've already said what you think but I haven't scrolled back a lot on your blog so forgive me if it's something you already talked about. You think the company submitted LC, or that no submission was needed, for VMA and EMA rigth? Then how come a song with its achievements in Europe wasn't considered but songs and artists with virtually no achievements in Europe did? It is not explainable, I'm sorry. And of course Hybe was going to submit everyone for Grammy, because the submission are public knowledge and it would have actually caused an uproar if they submitted only some. It's not about siding with solos or their "agenda" but once again it is weird and suspicious, just like the unreported sales, the sudden splitting of LC versions when even 3D with and without Jack are combined, so two different songs.
So yeah, I find it weird, and I don't want to think this way but the reasons armys give to this mishaps are always putting blame on jm himself, like he doesn't want his work to be recognised or something.. I hope you can make me look at this in another light, if you want..

I published this on my blog 2 days ago. I suggest you read it. This one too, and this one, and this one too while you're at it. Or idk, try to talking to an ARMY that's been here for a while. Anyway I highly doubt you'll read all linked posts so I'll paste a section I've written earlier for you here too in response to parts of your ask.
"Then how come a song with its achievements in Europe wasn't considered but songs and artists with virtually no achievements in Europe did? It is not explainable, I'm sorry."
"BigHit submitted BTS’s work for 2017 MTV EMAs and they were snubbed for nominations. Groups like Mamamoo and Gfriend were nominated instead, and no group had a bigger performance in 2017 than BTS. The same can be said for when BigHit submitted BTS’s work in 2018 and 2019 and both times were snubbed for the Grammys and some academy voters flat out said they didn’t think BTS got those accolades and chart performances legitimately."
The bolded part is done for emphasis. It might not be explainable Anon, but it's not without precedent. The point is the lack of nominations does not mean a lack of submissions, and BTS have been snubbed before by that particular award-giver (EMAs). There's a whole host of possible explanations for why these things happen because newsflash, as much as akgaes like to think the company (in this case HYBE) is the boogeyman responsible for everything bad that happens to their fave, there's a pretty big world outside that is filled with players other than HYBE. These award shows are third-party industry players that still operate independently of HYBE. Or do you think if HYBE had that kind of power they wouldn't fill the nomination rosters with only their artists, or do you think HYBE would've allowed BTS and their other artists to suffer snubs repeatedly for years?
I understand people are looking for someone or something to blame when their expectations aren't met and corporations are easy scapegoats because we all know they're bad, but it really shouldn't be so difficult to actually think about what it is one is saying.
I get it's easier to blame HYBE for Spotify splitting streams, but just as it didn't work in 2020 when ARMYs wanted combined streams for ON and ON ft Sia, were told the codes were different but later learned the codes are actually generated by Spotify after the label provides the songs, and ARMYs saw other songs combined instead with no explanation from Spotify... ARMYs learned back then that raging at HYBE likely isn't going to fix an issue controlled by an opaque third-party. Just as it didn't work all the times Billboard changed the rules for BTS.
I don't default to putting all the blame on the company whenever I see things I don't like because the members are adult men who should be held responsible for their choices. I don't idolize, infantilize, or baby them. If their choice involves delegating certain decisions to their team and their team drops the ball, I blame their team and also the members. It's what I said when I mentioned how I hated the Weverse album version for JITB and assumed Hobi was at least aware of and okay with that decision, and so I held him responsible as well. And Hobi is my bias. K-pop stans and akgaes in particular, have a habit of crediting the idol when they see good outcomes, but blaming the company when they see bad outcomes, when the reality is that both idol and company share responsibility. Especially in the case of BTS where we know all members are very involved in their solo careers.
The problem for solo stans is they don't know how to hold parties responsible without being abusive, hateful, devolving into conspiracies and raging all over the internet looking for a way to harm and handicap other members in retaliation, regardless of these people not actually knowing if other members are responsible for the outcome. It's just very juvenile and frankly insane behaviour.
I cannot want more for the boys than they want for themselves. Of course Jimin wants success. Same with the other members. I think it's fair to assume of course he wants awards and recognition and accolades, but I'm not privy to the conversations he's having with his team at HYBE, and I don't actually know what awards he cares about or what submissions they've discussed and made.
But people here, akgaes and their sympathizers, would rather incite hatred over Jungkook because they have no way of managing their emotions when their chosen member isn't getting his due. They have no way of expressing their disappointment without being hateful and disgusting.
Jungkook deserves everything good he gets. Jimin does too and then some. And I want that for all seven of them, but I won't begin hating one member with only a fraction of the information available to me because not actually knowing the full facts is oh so uncomfortable.
