Frozen 3 theory: Its gonna be close to wedding time for Anna and Kristoff. Kristoff kind of bummed about knowing more about his human family side. ( only remembers bits and peices before the trolls.) So Anna, being good fiancee she is, tries to find you know maybe where they are, and it'd be great if they made it to the wedding too. She finds something grabs Kristoff, telling there's something cool at X location not explaining exactly WHAT it is. Everyone goes on adventure. Somehow the secret gets leak, Kristoff getting nervous as they get closer. They get to the town, find HIS family, and it can either go 1 or 2 ways after that.... >:3
Way 1. They're normal family excited to see the son they thought they lost AND he's getting married?! Happy Ending :)
WAY 2. Basically the same. BUT they're lying. They're SHOCKED he's alive, and getting married to Royalty?! Tries to trick Kristoff to marry and run away with the wealth leaving Anna, but you know Kristoff isn't about that, and loves Anna more than, well even ICE. His "family" doesn't like that, some Evil stuff goes down, gets fixed. By the end of it on the sled ride home, there's this huge moment Anna and Kristoff have where he's glad about how they were able to find them, even if it sucked. BUT he's more happy he found the Trolls and Anna. Not wanting to ever trade/change things. Skips to wedding moment The kingdom (another Rapunzel cameo) sitting on Anna's side, and on the other side all the Trolls there supporting Kristoff and he couldn't be happier. :3
Cause you can't have movie without Elsa and sisterly bonding (whoo) the other half of the movie focuses, on another magical mystery to solve i dont know what kind of magic or WHAT mystery but Marren and Anna help Elsa try to solve. (basically what leads Anna to the Kristoff-family clue). ......uhhh im not sure on details of this half of movie but it all ties in somehow.
:p sorry, random Frozen 3 theories but my brain only processed half of it lol
P.S. Hope life is good and you are doing well EJ :)
*disappears into the unknown* ~~~~whoooosh~~~~
I'm so intrigued by a found family focus. Like, we've focused on familial love, but not found family in particular.
I am here for it.
But, even though it would also irk me since they wouldn't make it official, I'd love to see some not so subtle Elsamaren lol

Sad
This is the story I wrote for the wonderful @frozines project that @punkpoemprose organised, I wanted to post it myself as well for my fic list, which meant I had to give it a title, and I very nearly managed it.
Canonverse, 1226 words, rated T I guess. Takes place a few months after the first film.
Sad
Kristoff knocked at Anna’s dressing room door, and pushed it open when he heard her say “Come in!”. He hadn’t told her he was coming, but he did quite often come by at this time of day, and he didn’t usually bother announcing himself to the staff any more.
As he’d expected, she wasn’t quite ready, but almost - Anna was sitting at her dressing table, half her hair still loose. She turned around when she saw him, flashed him a brief smile, then frowned.
“Kristoff! I’m nearly ready. But. My ribbon,” she said. “My other ribbon - I had it, but it’s fallen right down the back, and I can’t get it -” she set her jaw and swallowed hard. “I’ll get another. But then I’ll have to change this one or it won’t match. And those ones are my favourite.” She drew in a deep breath. “It’s okay, I’m okay. I just - need a sec. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay,” Kristoff said, “No rush.” He waited a few paces away, watching her carefully.
Anna nodded, a tight, controlled little nod. She sat down at her dressing table again, and in the mirror he saw her squeeze her eyes shut for a second. “I’m sorry,” she said again.
“Anna. It’s okay.” He took a step closer. “Is everything - alright?”
“I’m fine. I just need to find another ribbon -” she pulled open a drawer jerkily and rummaged in it.
“You don’t seem fine.”
Anna said nothing. Kristoff moved round to the side of the dressing table, and crouched down. “I think I can see it,” he said, and pulled out his knife to run it carefully between the piece of furniture and the wall. After a few tries he managed to snag the end of the ribbon, pulled it out and handed it to her.
“Thank you,” Anna said quietly. She ran the ribbon round and round her fingers for a few moments, then put it down while she remade her plait.
Kristoff stood and watched her finish doing her hair. “Do you want me to go?” he said.
“Oh! No, no, please stay - I mean, if you like. I don’t think I’m much fun today.”
“Did something happen?”
“No. I mean. Not today.”
“Yesterday?”
“No…”
“Anna…” He looked around. There weren’t any other seats in the room, so instead he crouched down next to her so he could reach her eyes. “What’s wrong?”
“It doesn’t matter…”
“Anna.”
She looked up at him, then, eyes brimming with tears. “They died,” she said. “They died and left me all alone.”
Before he could say anything, she rushed on. “And I know, I know it’s silly because it was years ago, and I know it’s all okay now, but sometimes…”
Kristoff knelt so that he could take her hands in his, and she curled her fingers, gripping him tightly. “It was so long ago,” she said softly. “But some days, it...I woke up this morning and it felt like it just happened yesterday.”
“I know it’s silly,” she said again, after a brief silence. Kristoff ran his thumbs over her knuckles.
“A couple of years ago,” he said, “I was up on the mountain, using my saw, and - I’ll be honest with you - I hadn’t been looking after my tools as well as I should have been, and the handle wasn’t tight, and the whole thing - slipped in my hand. Right across here,” and he drew a finger across the side of his thigh.
“Did you hurt yourself?”
“I cut myself, yeah. Quite deep. There’s a scar, but - I won’t show you today,” he said, and smiled. Anna smiled a little, too, and looked away.
“But that’s the weird thing,” he continued. “It didn’t really hurt. I could feel it, but I could still stand on it - there was a lot of blood, though, so I grabbed everything and got on the sled and headed to the nearest house I knew, another ice harvester. He wasn’t there but his wife was home and she knew me. I drove the sled up to their door and I got out and walked over to their house, holding my spare shirt to my leg because it was the closest thing I had, then she opened the door and let me in -”
“What did she say?” Anna said.
“Not much, I think she rolled her eyes - not a sentimental woman, but a practical one, and I probably owe her my life - but anyway, she let me in and sat me down and bandaged me up, and, that’s the thing. I thanked her and went to stand up and go back out to the sled, and I couldn’t. It hurt, so badly I couldn’t bear my own weight. When I tried I nearly passed out. If it had hurt like that straight away when I did it, I’d never have made it to safety. It was like my mind had - put the pain away to one side, until it was safe to feel it. Sometimes survival is more important.”
He wondered if he needed to continue, but Anna just nodded, looking down at her hands. “Most days it isn’t too bad,” she said, still not looking up. “Most days it’s fine.”
“Do you talk to Elsa about it?”
“No...I don’t want to make her sad, too.”
“Maybe she’d like to talk about it.”
Anna shrugged, but her jaw was tense again, and Kristoff decided to leave that one there.
“So what do you want to do today?” he said. “You want to go out for a drive, or…”
She shrugged again.
“Or we can stay here.”
“We should probably go downstairs. Um. You’re not really supposed to be in here, this is technically my bedroom.”
“Oh. Right. I forgot.”
She stood, a little wobbly. Kristoff put out his hand and she took it.
“Somewhere where there’s not too many people,” she said.
---
It took Olina a little while to find out where to deliver Princess Anna’s breakfast tray. Eventually she located her in a smaller drawing room at the back of the ground floor, reclining on a pile of cushions, underneath a sort of canopy made out of a clean tablecloth (presumably borrowed from the linen closet on the same corridor), three chairs and some clothes-pegs. Her young man was sitting on the floor next to her, holding a book and saying “Do you want me to skip to the end?”
“No, no, that’s cheating,” the princess replied, leaning up on one elbow. “A happy ending is only really happy if you read the sad bits as well.”
“Well, if you’re sure.”
Olina put the tray down on the coffee table and Anna looked up and smiled. “Oh, thank you, Olina.”
“Shall I bring anything for your guest, ma’am? Another cup?”
Kristoff coughed and shifted slightly so he was a few inches further away from Anna’s encampment.
“Oh, yes, thank you!”
“And I’ll just prop the door open a bit wider,” Olina added, “So it doesn’t get stuffy in here.”
“Lovely, thank you.”
As she was bending down to move the doorstop she heard Kristoff say, “Do you want me to stop reading while you eat?”
“No, you carry on.”
“Even if it’s sad?”
“It’s not as sad when you’re here.”
Olina paused, stood, and left. And she let the door swing closed behind her.

Elsarik, fluff, #5 please :D
Tumblr media
It’s been a long time, buddy! Life has gotten in the way and I’ve been drifting, but this is a good way to get back into the swing of things.
Warning, it’s been while since I’ve written Elsarik so bear with me
They had been married for three months when Dr. Alarik Geatland, Prince Consort of Arendelle, had finally persuaded his wife to take him on an extended trip to the ice castle that was situated on the North Mountains. Due to the fact that Elsa was the Queen of Arendelle, and therefore tasked with the running of the kingdom, their honeymoon had only been a short weekend spent in the romantic location of: their chambers.
It also did not help that their marriage came at the time of the year where Elsa’s presence was needed most and while Elsa trusted most of her advisors, she was well aware that some of them would immediately try to use any absence on her part as an opening to run the kingdom ten miles in the other direction. However, the year’s business had somewhat come to an end and now was an opportune time to go.
When Elsa had agreed he had been ecstatic. With his studies and her job, there wasn’t much time for quality time, although they did do their best. The North Mountains were close enough to the capital that Elsa could be back in a reasonable time if a disaster were to take place, but far enough away that no one would want to make the trek. To top it all off, Alarik loved any manifestation of her magic and while Elsa had initially been wary in the beginning stages of their relationship to show that side of herself to him, she was beginning to grow more comfortable with using it in his presence.
As they had prepared for bed the following night, he had held her close and stroked her hair reassuringly,“It’s going to be fine, Darling. We’re packed and ready to go. The kingdom is in good hands and won’t fall apart without you for a week. Plus, we get to spend some time together. I won’t even complain about the ridiculous scientists who shouldn’t even call themselves scientists, I mean, how hard is it for you to mistake mitochondria for the process of mitosis. It doesn’t make any sense and—.”
Elsa’s laughter, which was not what he intended to elicit, caused him to stop and smile. She shook her head and snuggled closer to him, “Silly goose.”
When they were about ready to leave that morning, Elsa called him back into their chambers.
“Darling, we didn’t forget anything. I promise we didn’t.”
“I know we didn’t, but you can’t honestly tell me that that is what you are wearing.”
Alarik looked up and down at himself and frowned.“It is what I’m wearing. I’m nice and warm in these clothes and I wore something similar when we went up to the castle the last time.”
Elsa looked at him like he was quite stupid for a scientist and he frowned again.“What?”
Elsa sighed exasperatedly, “It’s a different season. It’s not spring, its fall and it’s going to be much colder on the way up.”
Alarik’s confusion faded away and he grabbed her hands, “I’m going to be fine, darling, really.”
Elsa looked up to the heavens as if to ask why she had been given this kind of trail on a day like today and then looked back at him, “You’re really not. Which is why, I’m going to help make sure that you are warm”
Alarik’s eyes widened.
30 minutes later
“Are you warm enough, Alarik?” Elsa asked as they began to make their ascent by sled to the palace.
“Yes, I am darling. Thank you for assisting me.” Alarik’s simple outfit had been covered with three jackets, four pairs of thermal pants, two scarfs, and a beanie. Kristoff had had to leave the room they were saying their goodbyes in because he was finding it hard to conceal his laughter.
