You saw Hana's tweet that was posted right after you posted your side of story. It was as if she was throwing shades on you. You read the replies and started to cry. You have never received so much hate over something. You had a few people supporting you but at a time like this all you could do was concentrate on the hate comments.

Honestly you needed a drink.

You poured yourself a big glass of whiskey. You drowned your sorrow in it.

Your phone rang and you knew who it was. Rachel.

"Y/n!" She said, in a comforting way.

"Rachelll. I wanna jump off a cliff and die in a painless way. Is that too much to ask?"

"Are you drunk? And also please don't kill over that petty bitch. Listen to me. Let the haters hate and we will continue our path. Don't stress yourself over this." She continued her advice. You pretended to listen while you poured yourself another two cups of whiskey and drank all of it.

"Good night, sweety." You said to her drifted to sleep.

"Y/n? Hello? Y/n?" She said, But received no response so she ended the call.

2days

The whole social media was divided into two. Team Hana and team y/n. It seemed like a small scandal but apparently people weren't gonna let it go away.

And also Rachel kept on trying to reach out to you but you weren't picking up your calls. You kept yourself lockdowned in your house. Avoiding everyone's call. Did I also mention you have turned into an alcoholic.

You used alcohol as a way to ease your pain.

Your phone rang on the table beside and you watched it ring. Five minutes later it rang again. You grew annoyed and saw who it was. TAYLOR FUCKING SWIFT.

Few months ago you acted in a mv for her. Ever since then you guys grew closer.

"Hey, y/n. How are you doing? I heard about the rumours and I know it's not true and I wanted to show you my support. " She asked.

This one conversation was enough to get you sobered up. You immediately called Rachel and told her everything and she booked a ticket to go there to New Jersey. You booked a room for yourself in a 4 star hotel.

I don't think you know what logical means... placing a song like illicit affairs as more autobiographical then songs on lover is really weird? She said folklore wasn't entirely autobiographical whereas lover is

And the hairpin thing is pretty obscure (it's also a badminton thing lol)- it's way more likely that she was playing with you can 'hear a pin drop' and 'pinned up hair' then she is super knowledgeable about not well known gay history and terms (like she did You Need to Calm Down- we know she isn't informed). Even if she knew the hairpin thing and was using the phrase that way- it doesn't make any sense in the context of the song?

And the 'I love you ain't that the worse thing you ever heard' is so super- yeah obviously LGBT may find it relatable, but heterosexual people may also find themselves in love with someone in a not-ideal situation. LGBT people don't have a monopoly on relationship drama (plus you know, drama tends to be dialled up for songs- most songs will be more over the top and dramatic then the real life event that inspired them).

'Wear you like a necklace' is a slightly stronger argument- but not when we already know about the initial necklace. It really isn't necessarily about gay sex

When someone has said they aren't in the community when answering a question on LGBT rights- it makes sense to listen. Not do tenuous analysis that would make you fail an literature exam

Stop acting like anything you say is logical

it's so cute how you keep trying with this, you brought up the songs and she never said lover was autobiographical and I never said folklore was more autobiographical than lover. But if you look up what logical means you could realize that is taylor wants to hide their sexuality from the general public she would never say folklore is autobiographic because it wouldn't be in accordance with the image that she's trying to portrait aka wouldn't be logical and people would question it, which she doesn't want

the hairpin thing is not "pretty obscure" a proper Google search would get you there and the whole point is that is not for everyone to know?? like the whole point of dropping hints is that only certain people would pick them up

and she is well informed about queer history, you cannot tell me the entirety of the queer references in her whole work are just coincidences and the yntcd this is only ignorant and problematic if she isn't part of the community, and she had enough queer people in the mv for someone to tell her so and/or refuse to be a part of it

and the hairpin drop does make sense in context with the song but for that you'll need more than regular critical thinking skills so maybe you'll realize that taylor has a tendency of connecting songs whether that bee with themes or lyrics to her personal life, if she was bothered by the rumors about her sexuality she would have never used that line. "oh but she didn't know" babes, after years of this kind of speculation she could've already hire an expert on queer history and queer flagging to avoid the rumors instead of fueling them

I do know queer people don't have a monopoly on relationship drama but can you explain how that line would ever apply to perfectly heterosexual taylor swift in a perfectly happy relationship or start of a relationship with a white man, even with the drama amped up? why would they need to sneak around? why would a love confession would be so dangerous and nerve-wracking?

and yes, let's say that line was about the initial necklace... why would she used that? if she's so sick of the gay rumors? that doesn't even need an expert on queer history to tell you it sounds kinda gay

(by the way, she has never ever said that speculation about her sexuality bothers her)

and I'll keep saying this, she has never said she's not a part of the lgbtq+ community, she implied it

she was asked about the lgbtq+ community and her support and she said "I didn't realize until recently that I can advocate for a community I'm not part of" which is weird because the lover era is not the first time she advocates for the community, actually she's been doing that for a while now, you could say the mean mv was a way to advocate for the community (a very lukewarm way but I think it made her views clear enough) but it's not that weird if you listen to the rest of her answers, where she talks about how everyone's rights are being taken away, unless you are a white straight man... that takes the answer away from only the lgbtq+ community just enough but let's the implication there, protecting her brand

and I've never in my life have failed a literature exam

but I can see how you can't logically understand what I'm saying... Taylor didn't intend for you to understand, her queer flagging is inherently confusing, otherwise it wouldn't work for her
