So I've been working on-and-off on a comic since February that started as "What if Transformers had an equivalent to Marvel's Earth-3490", and this was the result. Working title is "Optima Prime"; the basic synopsis is that Optimus is female and the war doesn't happen because she ends up accidentally dating resident virgin nerd loser Megatron who's never spoken to a woman in his life before LMAOOOO RIP

Anyway, these are the first eight pages I commissioned! Script by me, art by ErikaGSkerrz. I wrote the whole first chapter and I have five in total planned; if anyone wants to read the script for what happens next, DM me and I'll send you the Google Doc link.

(If you don't get the last page, the point is that Megatron's being sarcastic about asking her out and she thought he was being serious, lol)

James Rhodes would never make a good spy, which was why he was purely backup on these intelligence-gathering missions. Strategy was where he shined, and if things went bad for the team, he had at least three backup plans to get them out without blowing their covers. Plus a couple more that would, but those were worst-case scenarios. Still, it wore on his nerves to sit and watch and wait. He’d almost prefer a good old-fashioned fight to the tedium.

The mission had been as successful as it was likely to be in something like this, and he was more than ready to ditch the safehouse in the morning and go home. Leaving the city this late would attract too much attention though, so they had one more night there, surrounded by files and takeout containers as they attempted to make sense of everything they’d recovered. His mind was tired, nearing the edge of burnout, but his body was restless. Unfortunately, jogging around the block at this hour would probably attract too much attention too. He closed out the screen in front of him and rubbed at tired eyes. "What d'ya say we call it a night?"

All details vary based on verse, but in general I play Bucky based on an MCU timeline with 616 plots/connections added as needed. Specifically, I almost always include his history with Natasha in the Red Room, whether that relationship was romantic or platonic.

This is by no means a comprehensive list, and I can roll with most muses as far as basic interactions. I’m happy to ship Bucky with other Marvel characters and OCs/fandom crossovers based on chemistry, but unless they’re on my OTP list, they need plotting and interaction first. We're kicking off our Multiverse Medley Month event with Earth 3490 month!

Admittedly, Earth 3490 is essentially one panel and a squint-and-you-might-see-them appearance in a Squirrel Girl story, but it's been the inspiration for quite a few works, and we're looking forward to seeing more.

The story is simple — In Dark Reign: Fantastic Four Vol 1 #2, Reed Richards scans the multiverse for alternate endings for Civil War and discovers a reality where Iron Woman (Natasha Stark) and Captain America (Steve Rogers) marry and avert civil war from happening.

There's a lot of unknowns to play with in this universe, as so little has been revealed to us — what's Steve and Natasha's marriage like? How different (or not) is Tony's life as a woman? Imagine your own backstory for them and enjoy working outside the boundaries of canon!

you jump, i jump set: Titanic, 1912 about: An excuse to play Rose/Jack with various fandom ships. Happy endings only, please, or I’ll turn it off before it gets to the sad part just like I do with the movie.

COMICS MULTIVERSE

alt!61616 set: 61616 AU about: Ellie Rogers survives her injuries from Hydra!world and escapes with Ian in the elevator to the multiverse. However, it doesn’t bring her back to 616 or Dimension Z, but to a world where Ultron won and was later killed by the children of the Avengers, who were raised by Tony Stark.

alt!firstavenger set: MCU/616 AU about: After she's laughed out of the enlistment office, Stephanie “Stevie” Rogers poses as a man to join the army. Erskine decides to give her a chance anyway. Who knows? There are already so many big men fighting this war. Maybe what they need now is a woman.

alt!postblip set: Post-Endgame AU. May or may not acknowledge the shows as canon. about: Rather than return to the past, Steve passes the shield on to Sam and stays in the current timeline like a character who didn’t just undo 3+ movies of development. He’s there to help Bucky and Sam re-adjust to the world post-blip and learn the ropes on being Cap.

alt!tfatws set: MCU/616 AU, Post-Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki about: Steve returns to the past in an attempt to alter the timeline to keep Bucky from Hydra and Natasha from the Red Room. Instead, he's captured by the Time Variance Authority and held for four months, until he conspires with Loki to break out. He returns to his own timeline the night of Sam's Captain America speech.

dark!winterverse set: MCU/616 AU about: Steve and Bucky both fall from the train and are captured and brainwashed as winter soldiers. They work together for decades until Steve starts to regain his memories.

earth-3490 set: Earth-3490 about: When Steve discovers the Winter Soldier file, he takes it to his wife, Natasha Stark, because they don’t keep secrets from each other. She has time to adjust to the idea, and the Avengers’ Civil War never happens.

happy families set: A contemporary mash-up of the Marvel/DC universes about: All the heroes of comics live happily ever after and raise their kids.

hydra!world set: Earth-85826, where fascist dictator Armin Zola rules the world with Hydra about: Steve Rogers leads an underground resistance alongside the Avengers and his kids, Ian and Ellie Rogers. Bucky Barnes is a double-agent working for Hydra but secretly helping the resistance.

multiverse!madness set: A contemporary mash-up of comics universes about: Various comics universes collide, whether Marvel/DC/etc. have always existed on the same Earth, or other-dimension shenanigans are at work. Duplicate friendly!

fableverse set: contemporary Fableton, a modern town on the coast of New York where the rules of magic have changed about: When the storybook worlds collapse, characters from various mythologies and fairy tales are dumped into Fableton where they must learn to adapt to the contemporary world. After years of being confined to the town by a mysterious magical barrier, the wall is down and they're free to roam as they please or stay in the town they've made into a home.

dark!storyverse set: contemporary Fableton, a modern town on the coast of New York where the rules of magic have changed about: Exactly the same as Fableton, except the fairy tales went horribly wrong, setting characters on a darker path.

ever!after set: contemporary Fableton, a modern town on the coast of New York without any magic about: Characters are reincarnated versions of their fairy tale counterparts, although many of them have changed, and none of them know who they really are--except a few who keep the knowledge to themselves in a quest for power.

immortal gods set: various locations on Earth, Olympus, or the Underworld about: A contemporary setting for mythology-based muses, where the Greek gods are known and many have been incorporated into modern culture. Hades runs a thriving casino in Las Vegas, where desperate mortals come to bargain their troubles away.

MODERN AUS

almost famous set: present day about: An excuse to catapult OC/fandom muses into high profile careers (acting, modeling, singing, etc.) where they have to deal with the consequences of fame. Little to no magic/superpowers.

crystal beach set: Crystal Beach, California about: A modern, realistic sandbox-style AU where original/fandom muses are re-imagined with little to no magic or superpowers. Crystal Beach is a medium-sized town a couple hours from L.A., home to many small business owners and a small university.

welcome to new york set: New York City, New York about: A modern, realistic AU where original/fandom muses are re-imagined with little to no magic or superpowers. If it does exist, muses are either unaware of it or not terribly preoccupied with it (e.g., the Avengers might exist on the fringes, but it's not the focus of the story).
