Maurice Pillard Verneuil (1869-1942) was a student of Art Nouveau master Eugene Grasset, and, though deeply influenced by Grasset, he developed his own personal style and eventually published several books on decorative patterns and typography. This book reproduces 178 of Verneuil’s botanical studies and dazzling Art Nouveau designs.
