I've got to ask - what's the story with Bloomberg owing you $200?
Ok, so back when Bloomberg ran for mayor for the first time in 2001, his campaign hired a whole bunch of college students from various universities across NYC to work as poll workers - without disclosing what campaign was hiring these students - for $100 for one 12-hour shift, and a further $100 if you did a double.
As a brokeass and naive freshman, I picked up one of the flyers that advertized quick cash for "helping out at the polls on Election Day!" and I ended up working an extremely long workday. At the end of my double shift, I filled out the paperwork to get paid...and ended up being one of a bunch of us college students who never got paid.
So as far as I'm concerned, I want the dude to open up his wallet and hand over the $200 personally.

Well, this shooting would have played out much, much worse in that hypothetical scenario. The killer, of course, doesn’t care what law Bloomberg and his pals pass, so he would have stormed in with a gun regardless. But Wilson wouldn’t have been armed.
Assuming the police are minutes away, and considering that the gunman shot two people in just a few seconds before being taken down, it’s likely that several dozen people would have been shot before police arrived.
This is the outcome Bloomberg basically just said he would prefer.
And by saying that only police should have guns, Bloomberg is no longer hiding behind calls for so-called universal background checks or assault weapon bans — he’s openly calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment. If we needed another reminder why we should never elect this wannabe tyrant as our president, well, he just handed us one.
Reminder that both this shooting and Sutherland Springs were stopped by the proverbial “good guy with a gun”. The Sutherland shooter even owned his gun illegally, because the government screwed up his discharge paperwork.

Excerpt from this story from One Green Planet:
Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City announced a $242 million investment to promote clean energy in ten developing countries.
The billionaire is known for fighting climate change and this new investment will piggyback on his previous efforts to promote clean energy. In 2019, he promised $500 million to close every coal-fired power plant in the United States and halt the natural gas industry. Last year, Bloomberg announced an effort to shut down coal production in 25 countries.
The investment will fund programs in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Turkey, and Vietnam, reported The New York Times. Bloomberg Philanthropies and other partner organizations including Sustainable Energy for All and the ClimateWorks Foundation will work together with local governments and businesses to develop spending plans for the money. The organizations will work with the countries to create energy transition plans and update existing ones. They will also rally for the countries to sign “no new coal” pledges.
Bloomberg told The New York Times that success in these 10 counties could help show other nations how renewable energy can help economic growth.
“The alternative is to meet growing energy needs by burning more coal, which would have disastrous consequences for public health and for the battle against climate change,” he said.

Media mogul Michael Bloomberg looking to buy Dow Jones or Washington Post- Axios
Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, the owner of Bloomberg L.P., is interested in acquiring either Wall Street Journal parent Dow Jones or the Washington Post, news website Axios reported on Friday, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter. Such a merger would create a financial data and news giant, further firming up the world’s 12th richest man’s strong hold on the business and likely…
