hey jess would it be possible to get a picture of your pokemon collection without the blue lights? the colored lights make it difficult for me to distinguish which pokemon you have ^^; my brain just registers shelves upon shelves of wobbuffet lol

YEAH sfdghfd i got lighting because my bookshelves are so dark its impossible to see the pokemon otherwise haha, they cycle thru the colour spectrum i just had em on blue in that shot. hopefully white lights are okee?

had to take pics of jessie & james’s shelves together cause the little water bottle cover wobbuffet hangs down to james’s shelf sdfgsgf. the second wobbuffet directly above jessie is a special one of a kind friend that @patheticnyas stitched me himself ;o; hes fulla beans and my pal and i periodically take him off the shelf to snuggle him

james’ shelf is kinda misc hence bewear and stufful but its mostly pokemon he has. the z ring on the bigger mareanie’s head is a reference to the end of the sm anime and i also keep my spare pair of glasses on her because she’s lovecore just like me. whenever i find bottlecaps lying around i wash them off and stack them on/around james like some kind of voodoo doll situation except i only do nice stuff to him so every james in the world always feels happy and serene. if you ever feel a wave of calm wash over you thats cause i put another bottlecap on ur voodoo chokkorisan. the oddish was a gift from @jessicarocket and the heal ball was a gift from @happylilraichu!!! both of them are a DTE reference from two of my biggest and sweetest fans :’3

meowth shelf is meowth. the meowth in the back w the curly whiskers is the oldest pokemon plush i own that i’ve had the longest. it was my first ever pokemon plush and i got it when i was 4 or 5 at a toys r us i would later work at and eventually close down. baby jessie kinnie me would carry meowth everywhere and talk to meowth constantly he was my best friend ever growing up.

oh and my essential pokemon book of joy! its a book TPCI released of inspirational pokeani quotes. when cons come back i really want to ask michele to sign its sfdgsdf

arbok o clok!!!!!! heres my snakes. i bought most of this collection from someone on pkmncollectors who was selling the whole thing for 70 fucking dollars it was a steal. that chubby lookin arbok in the back was a MAJOR steal, its a burger king plush from the late 90s that usually goes for about 50 bucks but i swiped it for 10-15 on ebay. some mom cleaning her kid’s closet BIN’d it at that price and i went ape.

harleymons!!!!!!!!!!! cacturne is a bootie because there’s no fucking plush of cacturne and i was tired of not having a cacturne. contest fam buttons by @pocketvoyage @pokettoby who u should give all ur money to. the glittery rose was from @patheticnyas so i put it with his pokemon so they could be together in spirit :’3

i also collect contest fam mons in figure form! i need more solidad in my life seghfsgh i feel bad for not giving her pokes more attention. theres also some randos in here like the pika funko haha i had to swipe that cause it was a highly sought after work exclusive and i have a lot of funny stories about it.

ANNNND the rest of my rocket collection! plus some groudon over there cause me maxie. a LOT of these figures were gifts fgsfgfd. the figures in the back r stupid expensive and fully articulated and the best gift ever from jessica, so naturally i made them dab. the framed white pics are kinda hard to see but they’re animation cels (sketches, i cant fucking afford colours lmao, for pokeani they go for like 1k+) of team rocket from episode 14 of OS! the funky lookin pikachu in both these photos in the top right of this one was a glass sculpture my grandparents bought from a street seller in budapest and its very special to me because my family outside of my sisters rarely pays attention to me or acknowledges my interests. the other framed print is rachael lillis’s autograph!

i have michele’s too but im waitin on my paycheck to hit tonight to buy frames sdfgsgfd. if i can manage hayashibara’s i’ll have every jessie i’ve ever watched dfgfsgd.

i also have some misc plush chillin in a corner i always forget to take pics of! mostly gifts haha. but ive also got chokkorisan plush of the OG golden trio. i put the lil croagunk pin michele sent me on brock x3

My Dragon Con 2019 photos pt. 2

Descriptions below (L-R, T-B)

Anne Lister and her thermometer. I saw the thermometer bopping through the crowd and thought ‘wait I know that’. I’m gonna go ahead and admit I haven’t seen Gentleman Jack YET, but I knew my flist would get a kick out of this so I grabbed the photo.

Good Janet and Bad Janet from The Good Place. There were actually a bunch of Janets at the con this year, but I caught these two posing for a photo for someone else and jumped in to grab one too. The TGP panel I went to was very good as well.

Annie Lennox and Vyvyan Basterd from The Young Ones. So con etiquette (and common human courtesy) involves asking before you take someone’s photo. Cons are very loud and very crowded, and also people aren’t necessarily used to responding to a character’s name as “oh they mean me”. So what I do is try to get their attention by calling the name, catching their eye, etc, and holding up my phone as a question. This gives the cosplayer the opportunity to say no for whatever reason, and lets them pose how they want. A good pose is important, and a lot of cosplayers, myself included, practice how they will pose if asked for a photo. I absolutely work on what facial expressions I’ll use, what stance makes the costume look best, where to a hold a prop so both it and your face are visible, etc. So, all that being said, I made my way across the lobby towards this couple and held up my phone to communicate “Photo?”, and the guy dressed as Vyvyan Basterd stepped to the side so I could get clear photo of Annie Lennox, and he looked surprised/pleased when I said “Oh no, I want both of you, you look great.”

“Burt Reynolds” and “Sean Connery” from the SNL Jeopardy sketches. Another show I don’t watch, but cultural osmosis being what it is, I am familiar with these characters, have seen a couple of these bits, and could quote some of it. So yeah, I laughed and asked for a photo.

Lucy Ricardo from the I Love Lucy chocolate factory episode. This was so damn clever. Like, insane screen accuracy, huge builds, intricate builds, puns, mashups, large coordinated groups, there are lots of ways a cosplay can make you go “Cool!”, and this was a 'I have never seen this before' cool, which is one of my favorite kinds. My friend who had never been to D*C before, but is a con veteran, said “So the theme for cosplays at Dragon Con seems to be ‘yes’.” And that’s exactly it. If you can call yourself a fan of anything, and can figure out how to cosplay that, Dragon Con is the place to do it, because at least one other person is gonna recognize what you’re doing and say “Cool!”.

The witch and Sir Bedevere from Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I’ve seen a couple King Arthur and Patsy duos, including one this year, but I hadn’t ever actually seen this before, which I thought was damn clever. Also, you could totally tell where they were in the lobby by the sheer number of quotes from that scene being yelled out.

Damian from Mean Girls. This was another cosplay that I caught in passing out of the corner of my eye that made me bust out laughing. He wasn’t doing it on purpose, but he was kinda photobombing a lot of photos by just wandering around the lobby with that sign, which made some of them incredibly funny. I told him “Four for you” and thanked him for the pic.

Romy & Michele. I appreciate the ability of a good prop to sell a cosplay, especially when it involves wearing off the rack clothes. So yes, having their name written on Post-Its and carrying Post-Its around was super clever, but I totally recognized them before I even got close enough to read what they said.

The pink shorts-wearing boom op from behind the scenes of Star Wars IV: A New Hope. Again with the ‘I’ve never seen that’ cool, and the ‘if you can think of it someone will recognize it’ cool. There was a huge Star Wars meetup photoshoot that my friends and I went to in our JediPuff Girls cosplay, and this guy showed up and I think nearly everyone knew exactly what he was doing. Fully awesome.

The Three Amigos. Great accuracy, totally recognized them, but I took this photo and kept looking at the guy on the left, thinking “Jesus he looks familiar. I know I’ve seen him before. Another con? SCA? Friend of a friend? WTF?” Then I posted the photo to Facebook and my friend was like “Oh yeah, he’s got a funny YouTube channel” and I smacked myself because yeah, I’ve seen him in the video about picking out the necklace for a your new grandma name and a few others. Dammit! Missed opportunity.

MS seems to be encouraging this twit-shit! It's definitely on him. he RT'd a snip pic of the wikipedia page with the fandom 'marriage'. jfc. Agree with u and pr anon that this is serious. he needs to get his shit together - important ppl (ie, hirers) could be scared off. good point also on his sitting on his hands with prodigal son while all his castmates are hustling. not a good look. oh michel - can't you get back to real work, looking hot and just stop the crazy!?

To me, the fault lies equally with him and the stans. He wouldn’t have anything to respond to if they weren’t tweeting him but he is responding to it when he could just...not. It’s the twitter equivalent of, “two wrongs don’t make a right.”

That’s exactly what we mean when we’re talking about his image. Studio reps or execs could be seeing what’s going on and not want him to represent their film or show or whatever when they see he’s only entertaining certain fans. If he’s not going to publicly support a project he’s working on that’s a turn off to them. Honestly he should just do cons. At least that way he can take home trashbags full of money every weekend and not have to worry about his image. He could just fanservice for a living or for the next few years while interest in him is at a fever pitch, cash in, and not have to worry about much. But he’s not doing that. He’s not profiting off these people. He won’t exploit his fandom but entertains them for free and makes himself potentially look bad to studios who might be interested in him? That doesn’t seem like a smart business move if he’s planning to pay for his maximalist lifestyle, a baby, his baby mama, and future HWCs.

I’m with you though. Sign me up for more hotness and less crazy.

So Spiderman 2 :

- after Infinity war

- peter found a black suit in the space but it's venom sort of I don't how to explain , venom come in earth With this suit Peter is stronger and faster and he loves it

- gwen is a foreign students

- Ned fall in love with her

- gwen become friend with Michelle but she is not in the decathlon club

- Gwen fall in love with peter

- Peter have problem with his suit

- Peter become a bad and sassy because of the suit .

- after a fight with venom , he come back to his original suit , the tony's one

- Peter have less problem in school

- There is a price for the best week's pic of spiderman , the pic of the week appear in the monday 's newpaper of Daily Bugle and Michelle participate , Peter knows it and try to help her because he is "friend" with spidey

- Venom find a body , it's a journalist from Daily Bugle , He want to win the price too.

- Gwen and Peter hang out a lot

- Ned and Peter have fight because peter always got everything

- Gwen tell sometimes bad thing about Michelle , Michelle don't care completely.

- Gwen and Peter have a fight about the way gwen treat Michelle . she realise it was bad and because she was jealous of michelle's confidence .

- Everybody is graduated , peter does a big speech because gwen isn't here.

I had many ideas but I don't if they're good , sorry i'm not an english speaker soo if you don't understand tell me ! I wanted at first that Tony fall in love with MJ because she was special but I change my mind too many relationship ! MJ and Peter are not together yet cause they are not in university tell me if you want a spidey 4 in the university . IF SOMEONE CAN MAKE A FICTION OF IT THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

In case anyone was wondering about my drag con experience!!!

So this is going to be all based off of memory, which is in no way completely reliable so I’m probably going to be missing a few details but basically I just want to outline my experience/what it was like meeting the queens/how the convention was set up.

So day one Kayla and I arrived around 9, and they bring all of the non-VIP badge holders to the bottom floor to wait in a giant room. They started letting us in slowly, so a chunk of the line would go up at a time. Luckily we were the second group, so when we got up to the convention floor it wasn’t very busy yet. We were planning on seeing Shea first, but most queens weren’t at their booths yet so we decided to go to Raja and Manila’s line. As we were walking by though, we saw the beautiful Serena Cha Cha at her booth. We were in a rush so we didn’t stop to say hi, but she was super sweet saying like “hi girls how are you have a good drag con!” When we got to Raja and Manila’s line it was decently long and both of the queens were there. As we were waiting though, Raja had to go to the winner’s walk for the opening ceremony. The handler said that everyone could stay in line if they wanted to wait, or form a different line to meet Manila alone. Kayla and I had both met Raja before so we decided to just see Manila. She was so kind, and when I told her my poster was going to be the first one signed with my name (I have two signed ones I bought off of her website) she went “Oh! I’ll sign the back too then!” and proceeded to write my name on the back, so I joked and said “Awesome now it’ll be all over my white walls,” and she just went “oops.” Manila was amazing though, and I’ve been dying to meet her since she’s one of my all time favorites.

Next we went to go see Alexis Michelle because she was a top priority for me and I wanted to get a specific t-shirt from her. The line for her wasn’t bad either, probably less than ten minutes. When I went to buy the shirt before getting in line the guy told me they were all sold out and I guess I looked disappointed/Alexis overheard because she paused with the guest I was talking to and told me that the artist who designed the shirt was at the con and was selling prints of it if I wanted it and told me not to worry. I ended up getting a pretty 8x10 and getting back in line. Alexis was so so sweet and we talked about when she came to my school last year and there was an alt-righter trying to speak, and counter protests, which led to a glass door of the building we were in being smashed. Good memories. Our pic was super cute and she kept hugging me, I love my Auntie Alexis.

I think we went to go try to see Violet next, but she was walking a show at fashion week that day so she wouldn’t be there for a couple of hours, so we bought meet and greet passes for $5 each that we could redeem to get into a priority line. After that we went to go see Laila. Renee Martel was running her merch stand so I chatted with her about seeing her at Rhode Island Pride and Laila’s merch. She probably had the coolest stuff and the most variety, including old prints, little pins, an enamel pin (which I bought and wore day 2 idk if you can see it in pics), and 8x10′s. Her line was decently long, and while we were waiting to meet her we ran into these two women promoting a documentary on Boston drag that Laila was going to be in. The director was SO sweet and enthusiastic, and has been working on the project for over four years so I’m definitely going to post about it when I get more information. Laila’s line took I wanna say 30 minutes and then we got to meet her. We chatted about Keith Haring and other stuff, she was really cool and is super funny.

Pretty sure after Laila we went to go say hi to Biblegirl and check out the dragqueenmerch table. Bible was just kind of chilling in this little alley between two main alleys with Rubber and Lisa. She wasn’t talking to anyone, so we just went right up to her. Bible was probably the sweetest person we talked to all day. She was asking so many questions and kept saying how she was so happy to meet fans and did this all for us. We got to chat with the guy who designed her outfit that day, which was cool. Kayla and Bible bonded over their Libra-ness aka their messiness online. I asked her to tell Soju to get her ass over to the convention because at that point it was two hours in and she wasn’t there, so Bible told us exactly how to sneak into Soju’s gig that night. Again, messy but the absolute sweetest.

After Bible we went to Bob’s line, but Bob was on break so it was stagnant for a while, which was fine. She was probably the first queen we waited over an hour for, but as a winner it was worth it. I didn’t get anything from Bob’s merch stand, so I don’t have anything signed from her unfortunately. Funnily enough while Kayla held down the fort I went to wander around the con looking for Soju who had FINALLY showed up at that point, and I kept seeing Bob literally running around in her little clown costume. I went back to the line and after some more waiting Bob came back. The line moved pretty quickly so we got up to Bob easily enough. Her setup for pictures was a little tight and she had a guy there to take pictures, so I kept apologizing for getting in the way because I had to take pictures for three people, plus get pictures myself. Bob clocked Kayla’s accent and asked if she was Canadian, then turned to me and said “now I KNOW you’re Canadian because you’ve said sorry probably a million times,” and I told her that I was from Rhode Island, and her camera guy came to my defense saying he said sorry a lot too. Bob was a ton of fun to meet.

We wanted to go see Fame after Bob, and on our way I spotted Soju and her team off in a little empty area alone. I quickly yanked Kayla and our little group over and ran up to DS, because I was wearing my Soju shirt and had been DYING to say hi. When Soju saw me/my shirt she got so happy and pulled me into a hug. Then she turned to DS and told him to turn the camera on and all of the sudden she was interviewing me. She asked a bunch of questions and was super sweet, it was really surreal getting to talk to her in person. I didn’t get a picture with her though, so if she edits me out of the episode I’m going to be a little pissed.

After Soju we got in line for Fame and it was.... a mess. We waited for Fame for probably two hours. The line kept getting mixed up and people were jumping in and out. Plus, Fame was in a really heavily trafficked area and had an open setup, so a lot of people were stopping to take pictures and confusing the crowd. By the time we got to Fame we were pretty irritated, but nothing makes Kayla happier than Miss Fame so it was worth it. Fame recognized Kayla immediately so the two of them chatted for awhile, and I snapped a million pics but none of them turned out fantastic. I didn’t chat with her as much but Kayla was having her Laganja moment so I didn’t mind. Fame’s line took so long though that the convention was winding down to a close. We didn’t really have time to go meet another big queen, and I really wanted to see Joslyn who was nearby so we decided to make her our last queen for the day. We went over, and though you didn’t HAVE to buy anything to get a picture with her I really wanted a print so I got one anyway. Joslyn looked adorable but we didn’t really talk much as she was having too much fun dancing around to the music playing. We got a pic though, and Kayla got a video for one of her friends saying Happy Birthday. After that we just left the convention and went home. Day 1 was kind of stressful because the amount of queens was overwhelming, plus the lines were all ridiculous. Even though we both love Shea and Trixie we knew neither of those two were options to meet.

Day 2 we got in around the same time again, and I saw Michelle Visage in line for Starbucks which was a little surreal. Also, Meatball was wandering around dressed like Jackie-O so Kayla got a cute pic with her. We had a list of maybe five queens we wanted to see, and Naomi was up there so we hopped in her line first at like 10. Her people said Naomi would show up at 11, and since the line wasn’t too bad we decided to wait. Naomi got in at 11:30 though, and we still had the passes to go see Violet but she had to leave at 12. So I told Kayla she should just take our Violet pass and go meet Violet with two of her friends already in line, and I’d meet Naomi instead. If I made it in time I would’ve joined them at Violet’s, but it didn’t look like it would work out that way. I ended up talking to a guy in line though, so I wasn’t left completely alone. Brian from Soju’s show was the guy taking pictures for Naomi, so when the person in front of me was taking pics I got to talk to him a bit. When it was my turn, Naomi was so gushing with compliments and incredibly sweet. She told me I was beautiful, and she loved my hair, and all this stuff that was making me blush. She looked stunning in person too, so I was just a mess. Our pic together was probably my favorite from the whole weekend, maybe tied with Bob’s.

Kayla really wanted to meet Laganja and Gia next, and they didn’t have a line because they had closed it off for a break, but decided to stay longer. It cost $30 to meet them, so Kayla was the only one who wanted to do it, plus she got two cute t-shirts so it was worth it. I didn’t really hear what they talked to Kayla about because their camera guy was helping me edit my manual camera settings to better fit their specific lighting setup. He also gave me his flash attachment for my camera, so the pictures turned out really high quality. I didn’t talk to them much though so I don’t have a lot to say, Gia looked STUNNING though (no pun intended).

We got in Peppermint’s line next, which also took over two hours. The wait times were ridiculous, and even though they worked out some kinks by day two the queens kept having to leave their tables so lines would halt for twenty minutes at a time. Kayla and I just hung around in line, and got the same 8x10′s. There were these two little kids who both got Peppermint’s fans who popped them for her, and she was so enamored with them. She kept dancing with them and talking to them, it was adorable. When we went up Peppermint remembered Kayla from the awesome scrapbook she did, so Peppermint was talking about how much it meant to her and holding onto it. Pep had her own camera guy, so we both took pictures. Then I went up and Peppermint was incredibly sweet. I don’t remember exactly what we talked about but she just gives off such a good aura. So did her whole team, they were all so warm and inviting.

After Peppermint’s line we were kind of done with waiting for big queens. Aja’s line was a mess, Shea was charging an intense amount of money, we didn’t even look at Kim’s line. Even Bible had a decent line of people to see her, even though she didn’t have one yesterday. We decided to wander around to see what queens had shorter lines, and after searching all weekend we finally spotted Kimora’s booth. There was no one really there, and the setup was confusing because it was technically one booth split down the middle, one half Kimora’s one half Cynthia’s (who was not present at the time). Kimora was talking to a handler, and it seemed like they were getting ready to leave so I asked the guy behind the table what was up. He said they were going on break and they’d be back in fifteen minutes. I asked if we could wait in line and he looked super confused and said sure, we could wait at the table. We ended up being the only ones there and they left, so we just kind of hung out while she was on break. She didn’t take too long, and seemed really apologetic about making us wait. Her voice was super hoarse too, and she had a water bottle, which was probably why she had to go on break. Kimora was definitely the nicest Ru Girl we met day 2. She told me she was obsessed with my outfit, and we bonded over our love of wearing black. She apologized for her weird booth set up, and we talked about how odd the setup of the convention was. After her the whole day seemed kind of lame because she was just such a bright spot and just the best to talk to.

Kayla and I decided to go back to Bible after that, and waited in line for a few minutes because we’d rather have someone we could talk to than wait two hours for another big queen. Bible was again so cool and chatted with us for a while. We also had to retake pictures because our first day ones did not look so cute. It was just a reminder that drag really isn’t just Ru Girls, and sometimes your local talent is just as if not more interesting.

The convention was almost over, but Kayla had friends waiting in Fame’s line so we went to go join them. Kayla bought another print and I decided I’d rather just take pictures for Kayla, and stopped over at Shea’s booth to pick up a t-shirt that I really wanted. Fame’s look was even more stunning the second day if that’s even possible, and the wait was definitely better the second time around because we joined people instead of standing there the whole time. After Fame I tried to track Soju down to say hi again but the lights were getting shut off so we decided to leave.

Overall, I would say Drag Con was one of the best weekends of my life. I got to finally meet Kayla in person, and was surrounded by a community of people I felt safe and accepted in. There’s no way to really describe the surreal feeling that occurs from being around so many of your idols in one place. Both days when we left and were riding on the subway, our passes dangling from our necks as we were surrounded by normal people again (more often than not staring at our strange ensembles), we kept asking if that was real, because it honestly felt like a dream. Of course there were a lot of downsides. It was expensive, disorganized, the lines were eternal, the lighting was homophobic, and we deprived of food and water all day. Hopefully next year they can sort things out better, and more queens will come since it won’t be so last minute. Maybe with bigger names like Adore, Katya, Willam, and Alaska the Farrah line will be more accessible. I’m honestly counting down the days until Drag Con NYC 2018 is announced.

Yes, definitely! I’ll do it directly onto this post (cause why not?). Warning: This is way too long and wordy. I apologize in advance. Tl;dr: Drag Con was great.

Drag Con was so much fun, though very painful to the feet after a while–but when is drag not a pain in the feet? I don’t remember everything, but I guess I’ll mention the highlights (probably way too much).

Day One:

I didn’t go to drag con looking to stand in long-ass lines for two hours at a time, because I figured that would be a waste of time for me. As much as I love everyone’s faves, I’d rather get as much out of the experience as I can. So, sorry fan faves (besides Detox and Laganja).

The only ‘long line’ booth that I regret not attending was Haus of Aja because their booth looked cute AF! (In fact, I exchanged a word with Kandy on day one while I was passing by, but I was awkward af and felt like I was breaking some kind of con protocol by talking to a queen out-of-line even if she spoke to me first. (God, I wish I’d actually said something, like at least acknowledge that I knew who she was? Lol but welp.) I’d also have liked to see Shangela, but I’m sure there’ll be other chances that don’t involve an hour wait.

The first thing we did on day one was go to Sugar Pill because my friend wanted to buy makeup (and I was really tempted but I didn’t buy anything). Saw Shrinkle there and took a picture with her. (And just NOW I realize what I should have talked to her about instead of being quiet and awkward.)

I think the first two queens I saw on day one were Gia and Laganja (speaking of fan faves–assuming she’s one). I got lucky with them because we ran into a friend who was already on line for them and were able to get in pretty quickly. I felt a little guilty, but hey… Gia looks fucking gorgeous and I wish I’d talked more with her, especially since I’m helping a friend organize an event for the trans community at the moment. Unfortunately I was still in my awkward just-got-here phase at that point (not sure that the phase ever went away). Now… I’ve been on the hunt to meet Laganja for ages now, so I felt very accomplished actually!!

Wandered around a bit after meeting Team Too Much, then ran into Jiggly’s booth. Cool, quick line, no hassle. Jiggly has the CUTEST lollipops in her merch. Highly recommend. Don’t know if I’ll be able to ever eat mine cause it’s way too cute. I’m not sure why I’m always so shy around Jiggly.

After Jiggly I ran into a drag queen named Astala Vista and she is my new fave cause she’s a crazy cat lady. (Her look won me over.)

After that I saw Ongina. Her merch was cheap on day one and more expensive on day two. (I guess cause they did well and a lot of it was almost sold out.) I also had a sketch of her that I got her to sign and she was one of the queens I was hoping to see!

After that I went for Phi Phi O’Hara, because obvious reasons. I dressed up to match her booth so this was bound to happen. I cannot stress enough how she’s like my favourite person ever?? I didn’t buy anything from her on day one and she was the first queen I saw who didn’t require you to buy something first. (Don’t worry, I more than made up for this on day two.) I gave her a bag of cookies that I baked but her husband ate them all. Dammit Mikhael, stop eating everything I give Phi Phi! (Unless Phi lied to con me out of more cookies, which I’m okay with too.) The cookies I made I designated to give to Phi, Jiggly, and my good friend CoCo De’Ball, and the rest I was going to give out at random but they all ended up going to Phi Phi on day two somehow.

Wandered around, I think my friend and I split up for a bit at some point to do our own thing. Found CoCo De’Ball and her bf took photos that I still need to get my hands on. Chatted with her for a while, then wandered some more. Walked by Ginger Minj’s booth and took a photo from outside in the passing (cause you can do that). Also took one of Shangela cause I had a feeling I wouldn’t end up meeting her anyway. Ran into some New York girls I know by the bathroom lines. Ran into Biblegirl and took pics with her.

The only panel I went to all weekend was the one where Ginger did Lactacia’s makeup. I met up with @maladymesser there! :) So cool. At the end of the panel, Ginger asked Lactacia to be her flower girl because she and CJ were going to get married right there and then. Michelle Visage married them right there at DragCon??? I think we were all DYING.

After the panel we split up again and I wandered around and wound up going back to Coco’s booth. Ran into some girls I hang out with at the bar regularly there and we all walked around with CoCo for a bit. I saw someone dressed AS A BUG WITH SIX LEGS, STILETTOS ON ALL OF THEM, CRAWLING ACROSS THE FUCKING FLOOR!!!!!!! WHAT THE WHAT! That might have been the best thing????? Like???

Ahem… anyway. I ran into Jade Jolie’s booth. Super easy photo op. Then I found Ivy Winters and her line was also pretty short at the time (I think there were two lines or something?) While waiting for her I saw Terra Hyman roll by on roller skates (genius) in a Pokeball dress and I stopped her cause c’mon, Pokemon! I didn’t actually realize it was her right away until she told me to add her Instagram. She’s my new friend tbh, we just bonded, okay? I shared my Starbucks with her on day two, and that means friends for life in my book.

Anyway… back to the Ivy line, cause I was still in line for that. While waiting, Manila runs up to the booth to take pictures with Ivy. (Manila and Raja’s line is like 5 hours long, so hey! Cool!)

The last two I believe we saw on day one were Vivacious and Tammie Brown. Vivacious was one of my favourite experiences of the day. Took photos with an Ornacia on our heads. Vivacious was the nicest person ever and was really concerned about my lacefront wig when taking Ornacia off (not very Ornacia-friendly). I told her it’s fine and that I can put it back on but she was not having it and said that no one’s wig was coming off at drag con. Wow. Somehow very touching that she cared so much. And it was just a wonderful experience overall, and I recommend for everyone to meet Vivacious. My friend went to another panel at six, but I decided to go home because I literally got zero sleep the night before (not even exaggerating).

Day Two:

My best friends all came out on this day and it was just an overall blast. My game plan was to hop right onto the Detox line upon entering and get the long wait out of the way. (I know, I said I didn’t want to do any long lines, but Detox is my exception.) Our group split up because two of my friends had to go to a panel. (They did end up going to Detox later, but more on that later.)

Detox has the best merch, so I’m okay with her $20 minimum purchase. She has a lot to choose from and I wouldn’t mind having most of her things. We got in for Detox, took our pics. I got to kiss her for a pic and that already made my day!! (Plus my friend got it on film for me! Exciting!)

We split up and I went (surprise surprise) to see Phi Phi again. The panel friends were just finishing at the panel so they joined me on Phi Phi’s line. :) I chatted with her husband while on line about the dogs situation, bought merch cause I like supporting her, and then met with Phi. My friend caught this interaction on video and I died a little when I played it back at home. Took some family portraits–I mean, fan photos, but c’mon… Let my friends go and then took a group shot together. (Don’t even remember who has that photo tbh.) I probably hog up too much of her time and people probably hate me for it on the line, but too bad, I love her and she claims to love me so I’ll have my moment.

(Let’s be real, I bought my Drag Con tickets after she personally convinced me to go and the thought at the forefront of my mind was always that I’ll get to see Phi Phi there.)

After that we split up again and I wandered around. Saw Dida Ritz. I ran into Terra Hyman again (about 50 times tbh, I swear she’s everywhere and I’m A-okay with that) and she recognized me from the day before so I’m officially her bitch. (Not really, but I’m okay with thinking that.) Later saw Laila McQueen. We took a quick Starbucks break and then went to wait for Pandora to return from her break. (Terra’s booth was right there next to Pandora’s so ended up sharing my drink with her and that’s how that happened.)

All five of us were in one place for the first (and only) time for Pandora. Pandora was super sweet and we all had a blast with her. She’s my best friend’s fave so I’m really happy this worked out. We took a huge group photo together and everyone was really friendly and not rushing us. After that I went with the other half of my friends to see Phi Phi (those who hadn’t gone yet) and that was my excuse to go twice. (Please, I would’ve done it anyway!)

Wandered around and found Stacy Layne Matthews in the passing, observed Milk’s booth from the outside (amazing booth but didn’t want to do any more lines), and then found Joslyn Fox.

After that I just got really lucky???? Because I got to see Detox a second time without having to wait out the line because my friends who didn’t see her yet went and I joined them when they were practically done. I actually originally intended to just chat with them while they waited, even told the person coordinating the line that I wasn’t on it, but then somehow got ushered into it with my friends and when I asked if it was alright to go in with them, they said yes. Like ????? Wow. Okay. Cool. I felt kind of bad for the people behind us cause they probably hated my guts for it? But it wasn’t like I went in there alone. So… yeah. I saw Detox again. He remembered me from earlier. Super sweet. The person taking pictures did an interesting job because there’s no normal pics of us and instead it just looks like we were making out the entire time (we weren’t! They were just cheek kisses and that’s practically all he captured, from a very convincing angle). Oh, and Detox signed the shirt that I got. We took a really cute group photo around Detox’s tub and then left. (Seriously, I started and ended my day with Detox. What could be better?)

Anyway, 10/10 recommend. I had the regular pass. I’m sure VIP had its perks but it didn’t really interest me personally, especially with the price. (Even if it had been cheaper, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it.)

This season I hope Barry continues training Wally (hopefully they move to that base from FP), Iris working LOTS, Cisco and Cindy goodness, Cecile being the show's maternal figure, and most of all, DeVoe making life hell for Barry, Iris and Joe at work. Now that they're both mature-ish I think it would be cool to explore their professional lives more as they'll seem like a normal couple. I also kind of want Iris to have a board on DeVoe like Barry had for his mom/RF.

Hey back! Thanks for asking, it’s been stressful but good. And I want everything you want this season, awesome. I would love to see more of Iris’ struggles at CCPN and Barry’s at CCPD, especially if they connect back to Devoe somehow. Iris having a board would kick ass!

true, lol EunHyuk’s ridiculous laughs during awkward situations always got me so bad~ for Ji Changwook characters, I prefer his JiWook’s character more than the previous ones because, well idk him being a badass nerd behind the desk investigating cases as prosecutor or lawyer is soo damn attractive? and in this drama he gets to wear those casual-semi formal attires I’m being all hearty eyes~

It is always fun to see characters be badasses without having to pull out the fighting moves or weapons, agreed. But yeah, Eun Hyuk is so sweet I could cry.

Wasn’t MJ an actress or something like that? Maybe Michelle could use MJ as a stage name. (I haven’t seen the movie yet, so idk if she’s inerested in acting (yet))

Spoilers: it’s unclear whether she’d be into acting, but she already said her friends should call her MJ so she will be addressed that way in future films.

I feel like they were more enthusiastic about the upcoming season during hiatus last year. Especially GG was super pumped about the FP ep and the WA relationship. This year they just don’t seem that into it the show starting up again. Except maybe Keiy, lol.

I think Grant has to keep quiet so far this year so as not to give away what’s up with Barry. Plus, they all hyped up Flashpoint and then critics/fans were disappointed. I think they may be trying to un-hype people this year, haha, expecting better results that way.

An anon mentioned to someone else that they GG wouldn’t post until the third episode. I think this is correct, people seem to forget that they aren’t trying to hide BA coming back but when he comes back. If he posted something right now we would know BA was back in the second episode. Wish folks would calm they tits.

If I were him I would do the same thing, although comic-con will interfere with that. It’s next week, and Grant can’t keep a secret to save his life once he’s asked directly.

I’ve seen Wonder Woman twice now and everytime with the quote about how it’s not about deserve, but about believing in love it makes me think of WA. I know it’s not the same thing, but It makes me think of the people that say things like I doesn’t deserve B, or B doesn’t deserve I. Now I’m like: It’’s not about deserve 😂

(Apparently I have a bad eye because I didn’t think it was him in the first pic woops.) So on that note, what are your thoughts on that? I know Keiy said he wouldn’t be taking the Flash mantle, so what do you think this could be for?

You are correct, it was Keiy. @sunshinesunsethappiness mentioned Wally putting on the Flash costume to get the Metas/Rogues in line and make them start respecting him, and I like that idea a lot. Either way, I doubt he’ll be in it long because of course Barry is coming back.

LOL, I’m very happy for Keiy and Wally, and I look forward to the premiere. That being said, I do love Barry as more than just Iris’ man, so I’ll be happy when he’s back too. As long as he starts mentoring Wally for real and the Flash family becomes as important as it should be.
