Aryana Terani facts

-She grew up in politics because her father was a member of her planet’s senate, and her mother was on the duke’s advising council. (All the members of the Heralian government are elected, including the duke or duchess, it’s just the title of the position)  -Because of her mother’s position as one of the duke’s advisors, they travelled to Claesi a lot since Heralia and Claesi are long-time allies. Aryana made friends with the young Queen Sapphire, and they’ve stayed friends since then. 

-She was kind of rebellious as an older teenager and into her early twenties. She never did anything illegal since she didn’t want to damage her parents’ reputations, but she tended to start unnecessary arguments during government meetings. Despite her rebellious streak when she was younger, Aryana has a very good relationship with her parents.  -She has a fear of being alone in a room with one other person if she doesn’t know them, and it’s worse if it’s a male. (This fear will be explained later in my fic, but she was not sexually harassed to bring about this fear, I’ll tell you that much) 

-She doesn’t trust many people, but she’s good at pretending she does. 

-She took her father’s position at 20 years old, and served there for five years before being chosen to represent Heralia in the Senate.  -Thinks Palpatine is a huge creep, and absolutely refuses to be in a room with him without someone she trusts. He gives her the creeps. “Ew, he touched me, now I need to disinfect everything”

-Debates are her expertise. You do not want to get into a debate with her, you will either lose or someone will have to stop the debate and change the subject. She’s basically the Banking Clan’s and the Trade Federation’s worst nightmare because debating her is like trying to knock over a brick wall. The only reason she doesn’t get her way in those debates is because most of the senate ignores her. 

-She is 30 years old at the beginning of my fic. 

-She’s reckless as all get out if she decides she’s going to get something done. Her favorite phrase while doing this sort of this is “It’s not technically illegal, so I’m doing it!” 

-She knows how to dress up super fancy, but she hates dressing up in fancy outfits and makeup. She only grudgingly dresses up.  -She hides a small blaster and/or stunner in every dress she wears. She’s had enough assassins try to kill her for her to be willing to break a few rules and sneak a weapon with her everywhere. She had blaster training as a teenager, so she’s a pretty good shot. 

-Is 100% for clone rights and will fight you if you think otherwise. Clones are people too, dammit. She’s super insistent about this and drives most of the Senate (including Palpatine) crazy because she will not shut up about it. She’s been called some rather unpleasant names by those who think she’s crazy for advocating for clone rights. But the Coruscant Guard troopers absolutely adore her because she’s actually nice to them and treats them like people. Most of the clones in general think she’s amazing, but she doesn’t know about this for a while because she’s only had limited interactions with the clones, much to her dismay. She wants to get to know them, but can’t exactly pull them away from their duties to do so. 

-She’s rich like most politicians, but she doesn’t flaunt it. She lives in a relatively small apartment, with three bedrooms (hers, her aides’ room, and the guest room), two freshers, a small living room, and a small kitchen. It’s still nice, but it’s nothing extravagant. She saves a lot of her money for charitable donations to certain causes. 

-She has two (very well paid) aides, Naleh, an older human woman who helps make dinner and clean the apartment, and Reena, a younger Zabrak/human woman who helps Aryana do her hair, makeup, and outfits. They share a room in the apartment, but they don’t always stay for the night since they do both live in their own homes. Their room in Aryana’s apartment is just in case they need to stay the night for some reason or don’t want to travel home when it’s late. 

-She has a big scar down the side of her left thigh that she got from an assassin’s vibroblade. That assassin did not live to tell the tale, however. 

-She can sing really well.

I didn’t really know what to do for this prompt, so I took it as an excuse to experiment with outfits for Aryana, using “ornament” to refer to her headdress. I had a lot of fun with this, honestly. Aryana looks sad, and I’m not 100% sure what’s wrong, but I get the feeling she’s just really worried about one of her friends and trying to hide it as well as she can. For those of you who don’t know, Aryana is one of my Star Wars OCs. She’s a senator of a tiny planet called Heralia. She gets occasional POVs in my fanfic that I’m writing.

Because real life politics suck, here’s some 212th clone boys hoping Aryana gets elected Chancellor when/if Palpatine gets the boot. 

The doodle with Sej, Nexus, and Volt is an older one, hence why there’s a few differences with style and with Nexus’ design. The second doodle is Cody, in case you couldn’t tell with the wifi hotspot antenna he has going on, lol.  Also, Star Wars dates are confusing so that’s why I just used 2020 instead of an actual Star Wars date.
