Overleden persoon aangetroffen na brand bedrijfspand

Schellinkhout - In de vroege ochtend van zondag 29 januari ontstond door een nog onbekende oorzaak brand in een bedrijfspand met meerdere units aan de Dorpsweg in Schellinkhout. De politie heeft vanmorgen een overleden persoon aangetroffen in een unit. De politie doet momenteel onderzoek naar de identiteit van deze persoon en de toedracht van de brand. Ontruiming Omstreeks 03.10 uur kwam de melding van de brand. De hulpdiensten gingen er direct heen en ontruimde het bedrijventerrein, diverse omliggende woningen en bewoners werden door bevolkingszorg opgevangen. Ook werd in verband met waterwinning de N506 ter hoogte van Schellinkhout tijdelijk volledig afgesloten. De brandweer heeft de brand geblust en wist te voorkomen dat de brand oversloeg naar andere gebouwen. Rond 11.00 uur trof de politie de overleden persoon aan in een unit. Op dit moment wordt onderzoek gedaan naar de identiteit van deze persoon en de toedracht van de brand. Zo wordt onder andere forensisch onderzoek verricht en gesproken met de betrokkenen. Week 7 Digital Citizenship: Trolling and Social Media Conflict

Whether an explorer of the internets seven seas or the casual stopper at the usual internet checkpoints: social media, shopping websites, news and porn, an inescapable reality of an internet user is that of being trolled. The following video shows interesting cases of trolling and its direct results.

And there you have it. You just got trolled.

The term itself is said to come from a blend of an angling similarity (trolling: to draw fish with a teased line) and a fanciful monster (troll: a character who lives in caverns and preys on the honest) (Kluyeva 2013).

The actual date of the birth of this term in its new contemporary use is obscure, anyway its initial use can be followed to the late 1980's (Schwartz 2008). What started as a minor annoyance developed into conduct that whenever saw as hostile, can be punished under Law. Ross (2012) explains that the problems develop when a minority strays too far from biting wit and into a place that's overly nasty and threatening’.

The development of trolling agrees with advances in Internet innovation and social media. Klyueva (2013) characterizes a troll as ‘a CMC user who constructs the identity of a person wishing sincerely to be part of an online community, but whose real intentions are to disrupt normal discussion for the purposes of their own amusement’ (p. 933).

Social media has permanently changed the manner in which we communicate with one another. Fluid circulation of computer mediated communication (CMC) has facilitated aggregation and public exposure to a wealth of user-contributed information and opinions ( Marcum et al 2013).

Sadly this vision has turned out to be soured. By allowing all creators and netizens to post and remark on things namelessly, social media has added to the ascent in trolling, digital tormenting and social clash. Trolls are an online subculture who look to purposely prompt enthusiastic misery by deliberately abusing moral standards and inciting shock, insulting or hassling people through their conduct and discourse (Ross et al. 2014).

In 2008 the act of trolling was given a character face, or what is now known as a ‘meme’. “Trollface” was drawn with a grin that is meant to represent the mischief undertaken by trolls on the internet.

Thankfully, there has been a spike in enthusiasm and awareness for the subject of cyber-bullying following a string of prominent cases identifying cause with the issue. With an end goal to stop online maltreatment and shield social media network from trolls, Governments around the world are moving and demanding of Social Media Companies to further protect individuals, especially children.

Provincie gaat zieke en afgestorven bomen rooien

WESTFRIESLAND - De provincie Noord-Holland kapt zieke of afgestorven bomen, verspreid langs diverse wegen in de regio’s Alkmaar en omgeving en West-Friesland. Deze bomen vormen een risico voor de verkeersveiligheid. De provincie verwacht het werk op uiterlijk 15 maart 2020, de start van het broedseizoen, af te ronden. Elke boom wordt voorafgaand aan de kap gecontroleerd op eventuele nesten. Is een nest aanwezig, dan wordt gewacht met het weghalen van de betreffende boom. Zo worden geen broedende vogels verstoord.

Alleen zieke of afgestorven bomen

De provincie haalt alleen bomen weg die ziek of aangetast zijn. De bomen staan her en der langs diverse wegen in de regio’s Alkmaar en West-Friesland, waaronder de N242, N243, N245, N307, N506 en N509. Het gaat om circa 100 bomen in totaal. Voor elke gekapte boom wordt, waar mogelijk, te zijner tijd ook weer een nieuwe boom geplant.

Rijbanen open, geringe hinder

Het werk is op werkdagen, buiten de spits, tussen 09.00 en 15.00 uur. Bij wegen waar minder verkeer rijdt kan ook tussen 07.00 en 09.00 uur en na 15.00 uur worden gewerkt. Rijbanen blijven in beide richtingen open. Om het werk voor zowel weggebruikers als wegwerkers veilig uit te voeren, neemt de provincie verkeersmaatregelen. Zo zijn er rijdende afzettingen met een om-en-om-regeling en worden verkeersregelaars ingezet. Gebeurt het werk naast een fietspad, dan wordt zoveel mogelijk vanaf het fietspad gwerkt waarbij fietsers over rijplaten door de berm worden geleid. De hinder is gering; eventuele vertraging voor weggebruikers is naar schatting maximaal 5 minuten. Vanzelfsprekend wordt er alleen gewerkt als de weersomstandigheden het toelaten.
