When you wrote Kirtch, did you ever expect him to be so popular?
I never expected anyone to read any of my stories tbh
Even if two thirds of my followers are bots, that's still nearly a thousand people who read at least one of my stories and liked it so much that they decided to follow me.
That's crazy, dude.
Absolutely mind boggling.
Having people adore a character I made is just, really really awesome ❤️

Wtffffff?
As I've said before, I never once thought this crazy idea where 85% of my thought process is my weird sense of humor and the other 15% is purely aaaaangst would be so popular. Seriously. It's amazing! Thank you for coming on this crazy ride with me so far!

Re: Alex saying Henry tolerates him at his most annoying. That's why I didn't like Henry calling him irritating to Bea, literally the whole point was that Henry didn't mind him being annoying or find him too much.
Since Henry didn’t really know Alex I think I can let it slide (it doesn’t hit as hard as if Henry said that while truly knowing Alex), but book!henry would NEVER even if he didn’t know Alex, he finds every part of him extremely charming

𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐓, takumi secured both menus & begun to order their afternoon lunch like a king. min-jun was left with empty hands in turn, his unspoken words still hanging at the edge of his lips, gazing at the boy with that dark, impenetrable look until the moment where their waitress finally wrote everything down & left. & ‘twas rather surprising, to say at least, for it’s been almost ten years since he’d become a serial killer, almost ten years since he’d kill anyone bold enough to yank the knife from his hands but now, just watching takumi smile, min-jun feels as though he doesn’t mind; like he’s found a new place to belong, a most warm, loving home that isn’t at all superficial.
❝ … . . ❞
slowly looking down, the young serial killer reminisces one last time about stolen authority before proceeding to take off the hood as well as the jacket, letting it hang off the chair like a dark veil. the leather suspenders no longer hidden but fully visible, much like the butterfly-knife they blatantly uphold. min-jun doesn’t care at all to hide it. in fact, he most casually crosses a leg over the other & places both hands on the upper knee with all black-nailed fingers laced together, being completely, utterly relaxed. after all, takumi just made a silent promise & trust isn’t something you should simply speak of but show, very much the way he is now, ever so gently rubbing own leg against the other, revealing a ghost of a playful smile.
There lies a certain unseen unique beauty between them. Its fragile nature is upkept by acceptance, compassion, and an indescribable ignorance from Takumi’s desire to accept Envy; on the reflection of his eyes, Envy’s presence was beautiful, and such beauty could only be understood by the beholder. In his own sense of understanding, Takumi granted a boyish smile. He was contempt by being given an opportunity to show Envy that a date could be enjoyed in peace, especially when in the company of someone he could trust.
❝ Let’s see what we’re getting. Hmmm. . . ❞ Reminiscing over the pleasant sensation of their legs touching, our investigator remained fairly composed. His eyes carefully trailed over each printed selection on the menu, ‘till a mouth watering option came to view: ‘ House Special, a combination of steak and fries ‘. A robust dish, perhaps far too robust for someone such as Envy? Oh, what did it matter. Takumi was in control, and this was going to be their choice.
His enamoured eyes glanced once anew into Envy’s own, rekindling that profound interest they quietly shared. ❝ Just trust me, okay? It’s a great dish, and I’ve eaten here a few times before. ❞ No answer needed, just that sweet silent reciprocation from their visual bond.
Eventually the waitress came, shared a greeting and took their booking. Thankfully nothing too obstructive in terms of disturbing their little date. Takumi placed an open palm on top of the table, its inward surface facing up, as if tempting Envy to place his own on it. ❝ About time you’ve lived a little, huh? And eat slowly, I don’t want you dying on me from laziness, we still got places to go after! ❞ Wanted or not, Envy was now bound to enjoy the small pleasures of life.
