Princes! AU continuation let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

They get on like a house on fire. They are inseparable. There is barely a moment when Ulf, Prince of Sweden and James, Prince of England, are not whispering to each other. Even when James is encouraged by his parents to return to his studies, Ulf insists he has heard such amazing stories of the library and he just has to see it for himself, so can he please go, he promised he wouldn’t disturb James’ studies, please?...

... and so the two get out of many tedious meetings between their families, snickering and making mischief around the castle.

They were thicker than thieves. Closer than brothers. Indeed, James even had Aldstone re-organise the chambers he had used as a lad where they both could share sleeping quarters with their own separate beds. Night after night they stayed up planning more fun and adventures.

It was the kind of relationship Ulf had never had with anyone else - naturally, his parents had put more interest into his older brother’s education, so they weren’t especially close - and James was more than happy to show off, stealing choice snacks from the kitchens after hours.

Started thinking of another EraserMic AU and this came out of it! PrincesAU! Prince Shouta’s nation has taken over Prince Hizashi’s, and now his family are trying to decide what to do with their new prince hostage while he sits alone in the tower.
