I’m a huge fan of Rune Factory. It seems sort of niche bc when I ask other gamers (I’m a casual gamer, don’t ask me to be on any teams 😂) about it they don’t really know what it is. Rumor has it that they are an TWENTY FIVE year old WITCH , who is one of the SURVIVORS but we’ll keep that a secret. They are said to be HEADSTRONG , but that’s all a façade to cover up their COMPASSIONATE nature. We’ve heard that they can be found listening to LOVE BY YOU by REBECCA SUGAR, which sums them up pretty well. Let’s hope that they can find a way to survive this harsh new world.

Nova is the youngest of the Abe siblings. If her older siblings possesses the beauty and finesses, the Nova was the "plain-sibling". The title stuck as her hair was stuffed into a baseball cap.

But perhaps that was a blessing when she met Briggs Vaughn, a boy she noticed always got injured. She pulled him away for a while to help her with whatever excuse she can muster

Nova to the best of her efforts just wanted to make sure Briggs was safe, much to the chagrin of her siblings

Nova thought Briggs was her quintessential prince charming or at least the one to have by her side

When the fire happened Nova tried to rationalise everything, maybe it was fluke, an accident, maybe Briggs was in a better place.

Sleepless nights she started to rationalise everything, dunking a basketball in hopes Briggs was okay to some degree

But that didn't stifle Nova, in fact it drove her to want to become a nurse, someone who isn't standing on the sidelines.

Her beauty grown as well, being nicknamed the dazzling nurse heart breaker, much to her chagrin.

But beneath her beauty is a deadly secret, having the ability to chi block and read chi

It only got released when she met Briggs again, in a good and bad way. Once at Rosseaus and Once at the park. Neither were the experiences she imagined

But there was one prince replaced another- a man named Taejin aka TJ the one who saw her beaneath her masks.

For better or worse she released the thing she swore she never would- and she cant put it back

And her it was something bigger than her. Magic that was sealed away

She was left with more questions than answers as feels like the magic controls her than she controls it

But thats what they get for calling her only human

Things to know

She's very stubborn and ritualistic

Miko heritage from her grandmothers side, as of right now shes the only Abe child who has it so far if the middle child wants it or you want it lmk.

I think she knows the supernatural but if you asked her she couldn't describe it just odd. The OEA is evern harder

Shes been trying to understand it and want to help Briggs from a distance but is stuck on how to

Superstitious and Rational - to the point its now taken over her life and the energy seeking is going off

Can come off very obtuse but that because she hates being too attached to others

Would love companionship and give people extra food

My thoughts on... Avengers Arena 2012 (#1-6) "Kill Or Die"

So after reading through Avengers Academy and the X-23 comics I was very excited to start this series! It's really nice to catch up again with the cast of Avengers Academy as they're a really fun group. Although the fun didn't last long as they were put in a killing game! When I first learned about this series I was very surprised about Marvel doing a Hunger Games-style comic with a bunch of their young heroes, but I was also very intrigued. And so far it hasn't dissapointed! The first issue alone had me shook when they killed off Mettle. A really sad moment honestly, everytime Mettle and Hazmat find some sense of peace and happiness with each other it gets ripped away from them. It was really gutwrenching to watch how Mettle exploded in mere seconds. Red Raven was also a character that didn't survive the first issue. I really wish she would've because her design is really cool! It was also very interesting to meet other unfamiliar characters, such as the Braddock Academy. I really love how at first they kind of seem to mirror the Avengers Academy. But then as you get to know them it turns out they're all horrible people who hate each others guts. Kid Briton especially. When you first meet him, you think he's this likeable guy but then as the story progresses you really come to learn how messed up, terrible and self centered he is in all the worst way. Although in the end he didn't survive the first 6 issues as well. But I really loved how they set up the Braddock Academy and subverted expectations with it. Another really cool thing about this series is how besides all the craziness of a killing game, they still make time to explore some of the characters on a more personal level. Rebecca Ryker and Chase Stein especially stood out. They both had some very interesting exploration in this. With Rebecca you have this seemingly innocent girl who went through a lot and really is in over her head in this killing game while seemingly having a secret darker side. I'm really intrigued as to where that storyline will go. And with Chase you have someone who's more affraid of winning that dying, which I found to be a really interesting mindset. And they explored it super well! It was really nice to see the Avengers Academy group up and take care for each other even though Hazmat is very on edge due to what happened to Mettle. I didn't like how they acted towards the Runaway members in the game though. They've been through some stuff together and litterally have stood in each others shoes, yet the Avengers Academy members really don't treat them in the right way and trust them a lot less than they should've. It was kind of sad to see the Runaways get chased away like that by them. I'm also very worried for Laura Kinney as she's been exposed to a seemingly new version of the trigger scent, so I wonder what's going to end up happening to her. The preview of day 29 in the first issue doesn't seem to indicate she will be affected by the trigger scent for a long time! These first 6 issues were a strong start for this series. Each issue left me wanting to read more immediatly and it hooks you so well into the story. They balance all the different groups really well while still making them to explore characters on a personal level. It's going to be interesting to see how things will evolve from here on out. Especially with the Braddock Academy being at each others throats and a trigger scent exposed Laura running loose.

Rebecca Doris (Martin) St. John, age 68, passed peacefully through death into the presence of Jesus on April 25, 2023 surrounded by family at home after years of struggle with a heart condition. Becky was born in Bridgton, ME in September of 1954 during Hurricane Carol to Paul F. & Barbara L. (Rollins) Martin and grew up in Bridgton & Harrison, ME. Becky graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1972 & attended Bob Jones University. In 1974, she married Dale C. St. John. They were married for 48 years & were the proud parents of 5 children & were blessed to have 9 grandchildren & 3 great grandsons..

Becky’s life was profoundly shaped by her decision as a high school student to become a follower of Jesus. Over the subsequent decades, she was an active member in a number of churches including Bridgton Alliance Church, Lisbon Falls Baptist Church, & BeFree Community Church. Her legacy of faith, in her family & beyond, is far reaching.

Jo March in Little Women said “I could have been a great many things”. Becky WAS a great many things. She was an amazing wife & mother. She was Mrs St. John while working as a teacher at Lisbon Falls Christian Academy. She was Mama St. John while working as a chef at Frontier Camp in Lovell, ME & Camp Brookwoods in Alton, NH. She was Miss Becky while working as an Administrative Assistant at Alton Dance Academy in Alton, NH. Of all the names she was known by, one of her favorites was “Ghee”, the name coined by her grandchildren.

Becky was a lover of people & spent time with them sharing & listening. She could captivate anyone with her stories & made people feel welcome & at home in her presence. Becky was also a gifted writer, & enjoyed writing books for her grandchildren.

Becky is predeceased by her parents & sister, Teresa Beane. Becky is survived by her husband, Dale St. John of Rochester, NH; her brother, Greg Martin & wife, Maria of Mountain House CA; her children, Jill St. John & partner, Rosa Workman of Orlando FL, Scott St. John & partner, Becky Bradeen of Harrison ME, Heather MacDonald & husband, Kevin of Simpsonville SC, Wendy Huggard & husband, Samuel of Rochester NH, & Amy St. John of Dover NH; her grandchildren, Alexandra & husband, Jordan, Gabrielle, Harrison, Meredith, Brandon, Bailey, Nadia, Isabelle, & Seth; & her great grandsons, Ezra, Mason, & Ryker.
