When King of Kotha is compared to Pushpa, Dulquer Salmaan REACTS by saying, "It's a compliment."
According to Dulquer Salmaan, King of Kotha is intended to be a huge show for the post-COVID audience rather than a copy of Pushpa.
During the trailer and song launch ceremony in Mumbai, actor Dulquer Salmaan stated that his upcoming Malayalam action movie King of Kotha is not a parody of Allu Arjun's mega hit Pushpa.
"There is no such thing as influence. I adore Allu Arjun as a performer and as an actor. But the character sketch for this movie was created about three years ago; the movie has been in theaters since 2019. We thus had this in mind. I've heard this, and I consider it to be somewhat flattering. Although we are not attempting to mimic or counterfeit Pushpa, Dulquer added, "I hope it succeeds as Pushpa did.
In the Abhilash Joshiy-directed movie, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Gokul Suresh are among the other cast members. In order to satisfy the needs of a post-COVID spectacle-hungry public, Dulquer claims that it will be one of the biggest Malayalam movies in recent memory. Onam, August 24, the day of the Malayalam premiere of King of Kotha, will also see the release of its Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada dubs.
Later that evening, Clash is back in the ping-pong room. The tour manager comes to break bad news to the band - the curtain at the front of the stage is broken. They won't be able to make their usual grand entrance. "Ah, we've got to do it," grins Alex. Do what? "We've been saying on this tour if ever the curtain doesn't work, we've got to go on to this song." Which song? "Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feelin’’," Alex beams. The band are giddily bouncing around, electrified by the prospect of taking the stage to the song that's soundtracked many a menopausal vodka-stained Saturday evening's preparatory gathering.
“But when do we go on?" Matt asks.
"The rap. We gotta wait for the rap," Alex asserts.
"We should wait until "Mazel tov”,” Jamie smirks.

am i the only one who doesn't like the "stream culture"? like if you like a song, it's okay to occasionally enjoy it but you don't have to force yourself to listen it 24/7. and you definitely shouldn't force others. consumption of art matters a lot. while there's not a "right" way to consume it, but forceful streaming takes away the purpose of music and that song.
currently going crazy over the concept of waiting for someone bc u know u've found ur absolute universal puzzle piece match of a person that cannot exist as any soul but this one and it doesn't matter how long u have to wait bc just the fact that ur going to be together at SOME point keeps u holding onto hope even when the pain is too much and the static between ur phone calls across the ether n an entire ocean makes u want to cry half the time & how everything just makes sense when u think of Them bc its like it's always been them u were waiting for even when u didn't even know it & the daydreams about soulmates u had as a teenager suddenly make Sense n u can recall the moment u sat up dead straight in ur bed when u were struck with the thought of oh this is It n u suddenly understood why u hear people calling love inevitable & u hope to god that They feel it too bc it's just too big of an all-encompassing feeling to be left alone to drown in & u realise u've been consumed by Love.
of all the needle drops in ofmd none are quite as cathartic and manage to absolutely jack up my heart rate and make me feel so… joyous, victorious, quite like Miles From Nowhere. God what a way to end a season. Unbridled radiant optimism in the face of tragic heartbreak it’s so fucking potent
