A Comprehensive List of Spideyfist Interactions (pt.7)

Hello and welcome back to: reasons Spideyfist is canon. A series where I take you through each episode of The Ultimate Spiderman and show you why I believe that Peter Parker and Danny Rand are dating in canon, or at least that they are each other’s favorites- and also give you commentary on the show itself as I do

S2E14 The Incredible Spider-Hulk

- No notable interactions

- Fuck SHIELD and their bullshit Hulkbusters

S2E15 Ultimate Deadpool

- I'm not gonna lie to you, in the process of making this post, Tumblr glitched and I lost a lot of progress, this episode and the entire episode above. I'm not rewriting it, so the gist of the first 2 minutes is: I don't like that Deadpool just stole the show and the audience from Peter because Peter is "boring." I also don't like how Fury has set up the team against Peter.

- taking deep, calming breaths Shooting your ally/trainee in the back is akin to telling them that you cannot be trusted or relied on. Fuck Coulson.

- "Not impressed." Yeah, well, you shot your trainee in the back with zero warning or previous experience. Fuck you.

- Also, you can only hear Sam and Ava laughing in the laugh track, so honorable spideypowerfist mentions. Also counts to spideyfist

- You're showing your fucking favoritism you asshole. Do fucking better

- You are spraying it RIGHT IN HIS FACE

- "Somone explain. Now." Nova goes to explain "NOT Nova" Reason number whatever why I don't ship them

- If Peter replaced Deadpool in the show does that mean that Deadpool was the leader before Peter?

- Listen, I fucking love Deadpool in the movies and the comics, from what I've heard, are fucking superb. In this iteration? No. No, I hate him. I hate Deadpool and SHIELD in this show

- There is WAY too much emphasis on this alleged agent for me to believe a word Deadpool says.

- Peter is being singled out for training and it's disGUSTING

- There are no snitches among the Ultimates. Not today anyhow

- Deadpool is a liar and master of manipulation

- Okay, the more I rewatch, the more it becomes clear to me that Deadpool and Peter are supposed to be parallels or mirrors

- Okay I hate him but he's funny

- SEE? SEE???

- Deadpool is scary when he's actually trying

S2E16 Venom Bomb

~ Is this the-? looks at the episode number Oh, no. Not yet, I think.

- Saving the teammates like a boss!

- The nightmares Peter must have every time he faces the Goblin

- In the fight, Danny strikes after Peter, which counts

- Danny and Peter are standing RIGHT next to each other after a battle againnnn

- Peter WANTS to be able to take the win, but he knows his adversaries too damn well for that

- Hey, they're standing right next to each other again!

- Peter doing his best with Harry when he's Spiderman

- Ock just gets weirder and weirder looking the more time goes on

- They're gonna study the fucking symbiote but not try to find a cure for Osbourn?

- Infectious Venom disease!

- Goblin being absolutely AWFUL to Venom

- Where's the team in all this??

- One of the worst things you can do to Doc Ock's character is pretend he's evil for fun. This show doesn't do that, but the fact still stands

- And again I say, people forget that Peter is an accomplished chemist just the same as he's a wonderful hero

- Because you're Spiderman and Spiderman is a hero and you're a wonderful, selfless, brave person, Peter Parker

- Peter and Ock working together lmao

- Peter’s a goof, I love him

- At least Peter gets his damn props

S2E17 Guardians of the Galaxy

- Oh!! This episode indirectly has big evidence!!

- Peter using his abilities to shove garbage into the can

- PETER SEES A TALKING RACCOON AND ASSUMES HE LOST IT OMG

- Okay, so remember how in The Journey of Iron Fist, Peter follows Danny to his home country to find out what's going on and get Danny back? That's not exactly what's happening here. Peter was accidentally abducted in this one

- Peter was so fucking respectful and kind when regarding Danny’s home country and turf, but when it's Sam, he's snarky and complains the whole damn time

- Rocket is just so fucking casual about this

- See, even under attack, Peter is complaining about Sam getting him in trouble!

- Peter demands answers from Sam, he didn't do that with Danny, he was very calm and respectful when asking for answers with Danny

- Peter doesn't listen to a WORD Sam says ever, he's oblivious and not a good listener, reason number whatever why I ship what I ship

- It's literally only after he figures out Earth is a target that Peter decides to work with the Guardians

- Peter gives these "Ki-ya!" shouts that sound almost exactly like Danny’s

- This episode and The Jouney to K'un L'un are literally parallels

- Even if he doesn't LIKE Sam, Peter still considers Sam a friend, still loves Sam as a brother

- Peter didn't accept Danny going back to K'un L'un for a single second, but when Nova says he wants to stay with the Guardians, Peter accepts it without hesitation

- And then once Sam's back on Earth, Peter's right back to fucking with him like nothing ever happened

S2E18 The Parent Trap

- No notable interactions

-One of my favorite things that Luke does is he just fucking throws people for funzies. That's his whole thing, he THROWS people when he's fighting and needs to team up

- We're going through the team's backstories this season, which I think it's fun, and it's actually kinda funny

-Yes, Peter, 'parents' parents

-They're so fucking biased against Peter and it pisses me off

-I love the way these guys protect and look after each other, it's super cute and lovely

-See this is what happens when you start harping on your teenage heroes. They start ignoring you and don't listen when you try to offer important information

-Luke wanting a perfect reunion is so fucking relatable

-Spiderman only calls his friends by name on missions when it's important or in an emergency, the team members who know his identity don't call Peter by name unless off mission

S2E19 Stan By Me

-No notable interactions

S2E20 Game Over

-Danny talks about how fun the LMDs are and Peter immediately starts going into detail.

-I love that the team gets to go all out here

-Danny wants to retreat, Peter says "looks like we're gonna have to 'assess' with our fists" which I count because Peter's not the kind of guy to retreat even if it's deadly and he talks like he was going to agree

-Annd we're in a slow zoom (in the ready room lol) and Peter and Danny are sitting right next to each other

Untitled USM fic:

(With AO3 down due to attacks, I'm posting some fics here for people to read, I'll post them on AO3/ff.net later)

Summery: Peter got injured in a fight and Danny heals him (fluffy)

Relationships: Spideyfist (can be read as platonic), and overall friendship between the kids

Characters: Peter and Danny mainly, but Luke, Ava, and Sam are also here

Words: 573

Peter woke up to the feeling of warmth against the sides of his face and the inability to move his arms. When he opened his eyes he found that he was laying on his back, Luke and Sam both holding his arms down on either side of him, and Ava watching.

“He’s waking up, you can let him move again, guys,” Ava said. The two boys let go, Sam taking flight with a comment about looking around for any signs of more trouble.

Peter looked up to see Danny’s face over his and realized where the warmth was coming from. He felt the other boy’s hands on the sides of his face and his healing chi run through him, his head laying on Danny’s legs.

Using so much power, it was like Danny’s entire body was glowing, but maybe it was just the light around them and the waking up from a head injury that made him look more otherworldly.

Oh, right. Peter had been knocked down by a hard blow to the head from the villain they were fighting. He wasn’t sure how he forgot that, probably the brain damage.

He reached up and removed Danny’s mask, since he himself was maskless. Danny’s eyes had been closed so he could focus on healing Peter but at the feeling of his hands, they opened softly to look at him.

“Spider,” Danny whispered, sounding relieved.

“Hey,” Peter replied, smiling up at him. “Did we win?”

“After you went down like a bag of wet cement, we had Danny focus on healing you while the rest of us stopped the bad guy,” Ava explained.

“We came back and you were moving in your sleep, we had to restrain you so you wouldn’t hurt yourself more,” Luke added.

“So, yeah, we’re basically heroes,” Sam concluded from the air. “We rule.”

“We need to get back to the Helicarrier and get you to a doctor,” Ava stated.

Danny removed his hands and Ava and Luke helped Peter to his feet. Once standing, Peter swayed and Luke caught him, picking him up in one arm.

Ava then helped Danny stand, the blond noticeably tired from using his power extensively.

The group got on their jet and Ava took over the driving, since Danny was too tired for that and wanted to stay close to Peter.

Peter watched the rest of his team as he settled into his chair. Despite the fact that they normally handed the controls to Danny, for reasons he never thought to ask about, Ava and Luke were actually pretty good at piloting. Sam had once bragged about being able to fly spaceships but Peter wasn’t sure about that.

Luke walked over to Danny and handed him a couple powerbars before going back to his seat.

“Wait, you have food hidden here?” Peter asked.

“Yeah, of course we do,” Sam replied. “It’s like a reward for a successful mission, or compensation for failure, it’s whatever.”

“You don’t?” Danny asked, looking at him in surprise and confusion.

“We were trained by SHIELD to prepare for anything, we have food and water on board,” Ava explained.

“That and the fact that we’re teenagers with high metabolisms,” Luke added. “And Danny uses up a lot of his energy using his powers, we keep extra snacks hidden everywhere we go, including our rooms in the Helicarrier.”

“Here,” Danny offered one of the powerbars to Peter. “You need strength too.”

Can u do a spideyfist one where Peter and Danny were boyfriends before there powers and when Danny left to Kun Lun he didn’t tell anyone including Peter and all he left him was his ring that he wore all the time Peter was heartbroken for the longest time and when Peter goes to shield to meet his new teammates and when iron fist reveals his identity peter gets emotional Sorry this is really random but I think u can do the story justice love ur stuff thx❤️❤️

Peter didn't want to be part of a team. Any team. He thought he made that very clear from the first moment it was brought up, yet here he was. It was a shame they worked so well together- so well that Peter had momentarily let his guard down and actually wondered if the whole idea wasn't so terrible after all.

But, any fantasy of it working came crashing down the moment Iron Fist opened his mouth.

The very second Fury ended their first team debrief, Peter rushed out of the conference room. Nova's taunting rang behind him, but Peter didn't take the bait this time.

"Hey, Spider-Man." Iron Fist's voice carried down the hallway.

The familiar lilt of the voice sent Peter into both fight and flight at the same time, resulting in him tripping over his own feet. Graceful. Peter cursed quietly and squared his shoulders.

"Good work today, we do make a good team." Iron Fist was right behind him.

With a sigh, Peter turned and offered a curt nod before continuing his ill-planned retreat.

Iron fist called after him, "At least consider joining us? There's a lot of good we could do together."

As Peter turned a corner, he heard Nova chime in. "Don't bother, he thinks he's too good for us."

Halfway home Peter found a secluded alley to change back into his street clothes. He opted to walk instead of take the bus, needing time to process the old memories flooding back to crush him from the inside out.

During his walk, he mindlessly played with the plastic ring he wore on a small chain necklace. Only his Aunt May and MJ knew where it came from- who it came from.

Danny Rand.

Childhood friend.

First crush.

First kiss.

First heartache.

The plastic decoder ring around his neck was the only tangible thing Peter had left. A silly thing, really. It was one of the few things they ever fought over, and Peter let him keep it in the end. That was, until the day it appeared in an envelope on his doorstep. After that, Peter never saw Danny again.

His Aunt told him he'd moved. But, why didn't he leave his new address? Even back then Peter thought his Aunt was hiding something from him. As he got older, wiser, Peter realized she was probably protecting him from his first 'breakup'- and that Danny was a chicken.

"You kept it."

Peter stopped mid stride, fingers still on the ring around his neck. Any doubt Peter had that Iron Fist was Danny Rand was gone: the voice was the same.

The blonde teen sitting on his front stoop smiled up at him weakly.

"Danny." Peter dropped the ring, letting fall against his chest. He was frozen, caught completely off guard. Why was Danny at his house? Now? Peter still had hours of emotional spiraling and role-playing scenarios left to sort through.

Danny stood slowly. "Remember when we got that? You saved boxtops forever. And I was a little shit, thought we should share it just because I was the one who found the contest. You were so angry you wouldn't talk to me. Until I kissed you on the cheek, and you agreed to share it and let me have it first."

Peter was helpless as Danny walked towards him as he reminisced. The years had been kind to Danny, which Peter could appreciate even without his skin tight supersuit.

"Then you left without a word," Peter finished for him.

"I'm sorry." Danny reached for his hand and Peter pulled it away.

Peter narrowed his eyes. "Why now?"

"I- I'm back now. I moved back to the city." Danny shifted nervously.

Peter knew enough about Iron Fist so far to piece a bit together. Danny left to train. Probably hadn't anticipated ever returning. "You left without a word, a note. No letter all of these years? Or a call? Or a visit? A postcard?!" He quickly tapped into years of unprocessed anger.

"I left you the ring." Danny looked lost, clearly he didn't expect this sort of reaction from Peter. "We agreed to share it, right? I didn't want to break our deal, and… I thought it would let you know I'd be back."

"A note would let me know you'd be back. Or an actual conversation." Peter reached up to hold the ring, twirling it slightly between his fingers. "I guess it's your turn, then."

Peter pulled hard on the chain, breaking it from his neck. He dropped it at Danny's feet and walked past his old friend, lightly brushing against his shoulder. "Maybe we can do this again in a few years."

Peter retreated inside his home and slammed the door behind him.

Well. That happened.

And with Fury's new team initiative, Peter knew his business with Danny wouldn't be over so easily. Did he want it to be over?

“Where do you work out?”

Danny looked away from the movie playing on the living room tv, down at Peter who was cuddled up next to him with his head in Danny’s lap. He had grabbed a hold of Dannys arm and was examining it like it was a new science concept he didn’t understand yet.

Danny smiled softly, “I work out in the same place you do. We have the same training schedules.”

“I know,” Peter murmured, running his hand over Danny’s bicep. “But you’re, like, ripped. Not Luke ripped, but, you know, ripped. What’s your secret?”

Danny shrugged, “I did train for years in Kun’Lun before joining S.H.I.E.L.D. The monks had their own way of doing things.”

Peter pursed his lips, “Yeah, no kidding. Is there a monk juice I need to invest in? Super human tea? A leaf I need to chew on?”

“Why the sudden interest?” Danny asked, more-or-less forgetting about the old sci-fi movie Peter insisted on turning on.

“Because your arms are amazing. They’re like if the Hulk and Thor decides to fuse their arms together, only smaller and less green.”

Danny bit back a laugh, “But wouldn’t that just make them like any other persons?”

Peter gasped as if Danny had spoken blasphemy and sat up only to clutch Danny’s arm to his chest. “You can’t speak such things under my roof,” he whispered, “that was the highest compliment anyone could be gifted. Right up there with Black Widows butt-kickery and Captain America’s patriotism.”

This time Danny did laugh, “Well...thank you. I suppose. I didn’t know you liked my arms so much.”

Peter hummed and settled back down, wrapping Danny’s arms over his shoulders. “You are forgiven on one condition.”

“And what’s that?”

“You gotta wear that Kun’Lun robe thing sometime. The one without sleeves.”

Danny chuckled and shook his head, “Why?”

“For...” Peter hesitates. “Science reasons. Purely science reasons.”

No pressure! I'm just curious and would love to hear you talk about it.

I have SOOO many ideas going on in my head😭😭

I do have a zombie and mermaid fics happening. They’re still being planned out since I want to focus on Call You Mine a lil bit more since its the longest story than the other ones.

Originally, I asked on this account like a yr or two ago and on my personal Instagram account to pick between Vampire or Mermaid. I had two separate fic ideas but Mermaid gotten the most votes since I’m a pretty indecisive person since I liked both of them😭😭. The mermaid one, I plan on having Danny being a merman and Peter being a scientist and teacher with a son that he had with MJ. Both of them will be in their 30s since I love middle aged Peter, we need him more in usm fics❤️❤️ and his son would be a preteen or teenager. I gotten inspired by old Disney’s The Little Mermaid so most likely there’s going to be similarities from the movie and in the merman fic and also gotten inspired by a few Hamilton Musical songs when planning Peter’s character🤔🤔. I like writing Peter out to be a bit of an asshole in my fics since I find him the most relatable and I add a bit of myself in his character too to relate to other readers. I do the same with Danny since he would have a sense of innocence in this fic despite his creepy look. This fic would have a different feel unlike the others since Peter’s POV would sound like report entries about Danny and in a fantasy setting without powers other than Danny. The team, Johnny, and Bobby will be in the story too, for sure they will.

The zombie one is kinda new. It was just a small idea I had when I was watching a The Last of Us playthrough and I just thought of them😭. The story is still in the early stages since I’m still struggling about how Peter’s and Danny’s character will be. I’m debating whether either of them would have a kid to raise but I’m not sure since I have a wide majority of fics having a kid character in them😭. I might have Danny as my next victim of being a parental figure in this fic to change it up but Peter would be a toughie for me to plan his character. Both of them would be interesting POV to write but I feel like writing a dual POV in this fic will be difficult and might be a bit messy and unorganized. Writing out the zombies will be difficult too since I don’t plan this story to be set in a world where they have powers since most likely they wouldn’t survive (no offense to the team😭). It’s still in the early stages unlike the merman fic so I wouldn’t mind some small ideas for this one that yall would want to share.

Another one is a pirate fic😭😭. I originally had everything planned out but I had to change everything last minute. I planned for Danny to be a quiet pirate and even had his relationship with Peter already fleshed out but I had an image of Peter being pirate instead, I liked it better so I changed everything😭😭. A child will be in Peter’s life as well but won’t appear until in the middle of the story. Miles Morales will also be in this story as well as the zombie one(maybe) so HORRAYY🎉🎉🎉 So I’m excited to write him out as well as the team. Danny and Peter’s relationship will be a bit spicy, and few sexual tensions here and there and also a few assassination attempts which is pretty romantic. It has a huge fantasy setting and I’m even planning on creating a map for this fic and will take longer for me tk publish.

I know that someday I will write a fluffy spideytorch fic of them being highschool sweethearts. I’m debating whether they would have powers or not but it’s extremely fluffy and shorter than the other fics. I gotta have my spideytorch fill😔💗.

That’s mainly all the fics that I’m currently planning out.🤔🤔 After the Dark!Danny ask I’m considering of picking up my EvilEmperor!Danny AU with a curious scientist Peter.

What are your thoughts on genderbend stories? If you enjoy them, do you prefer the ones where the entire cast is switched or only some? What about their disposition? Remaining the same or changed due to their gender and new experiences and social expectations?

I actually don’t mind genderbend stories. I haven’t read much but I would like it if the entire cast have switched genders and have the same goals, mood, and temperament as their original genders.

I’m not sure if they would come across new experiences after changing their gender aside from mood swings from periods 🤔🤔.

I feel like they would be faced with social norms, especially between genderbent Peter and Aunt May. They would’ve had a rocky relationship after fem!Ben died and male!May would basically view fem!Peter as a bit weak and sensitive to do “masculine” jobs such as getting a job to pay for the bills and should let a man take care of the bills and do hardware instead.

Most likely they would face social expectations and norms from family members than SHIELD and friends.

S2E7 Spidah-Man!

- say what you will about this episode, i know i do, but the majority of what i saw when it first came out with kinda not great. i like it alright, but it wasn’t my favorite.

- Danny’s not in this episode until the end, so headcanon and commentary!

- cartoon characters carry sinks for the purposes of throwing

- people go insane when money is involved, never freaking fails

- dude, this entire show and the characters send like 90% of the time dumping on Peter, it’s cringey and awful.

- Danny and Peter are standing next to each other, Danny is uneccesarily close

- “oh, i’d tell you where to stick those cameras, but i was raised better than that!” i wasn’t, but i’d do the same. you fucking go, Peter

- Boston works FAST, holy shit

- Peter Parker, New York resident, not understanding a Boston accient

- DID PETER JUST FLIP OFF THE CAMERA?

- juice box, juice box

- Peter wanting to help Ollie by NOT getting him wrapped up in the hero life when he’s so young. Peter understanding that kids are kids and need to be allowed to be kids

- the team having the best time at the water park

- Peter, despite feeling under appreciated, still goes back to New York because he has responsibilities there and knows he can’t shirk them. plus he has a team to lead and he can’t just cut them loose, that would be rude

- ahh the villains of Boston. Adam Slammer, the Plymoth Rocket, and Salem’s Witch

- good grief

- i think at this point, i’m just either gonna do only headcanons for episodes Danny’s not in or just mentions he’s not in it. maybe a mix.

- in season 3, we get wind that Spiderman’s sacrifice for New York has inspired a whole new group of heroes, but Spiderman’s been inspiring heroes since season 1 and 2

- god bless JJJ leave it alone

- team has doubts Peter isn’t coming back, but did Danny? no, no he didn’t

S2E8 Carnage

- Peter, you know something always goes wrong when you say that

- ah the Goblin returns

- probably because you HAVE been herded to something vile and villainous

- ah yes... the ongoing issues Peter has with Harry and how Harry views Spiderman

- Harry only expects the worst from Norman and it fucking sucks for Harry because Norman has shown him he can only expect the worst

- Harry and Peter? ride or die. if Peter needs help on an assignment, Harry’s there. if Harry needs help hiding a body, Peter’s there

- side note: Danny and Luke have those vibes too

- and again i say, Goblin is the worst parts of Norman, his darkest and most intrusive thoughts

- Peter fighting every second to get control back

- the team deliberates and talks out of Harry’s earshot, wondering where Peter would’ve gone and what Goblin wants with him and the entire time, Danny does NOT let go of Peter’s backpack

- Danny doesn’t look. Danny doesn’t even LOOK and even so, Peter doesn’t look like Peter. so how does Danny know Peter’s back? well, Danny can read an aura and we’ve long established that Peter is “a beacon for someone with [Danny’s] power”

- shit, things are flying, people are getting hurt. what to do, what to do? well let’s start with protecting Peter’s best friend. Danny steps forward in front of Harry which i count

- the whole fight, the only one to land more than one hit was Danny, why? Danny is Peter’s favorite

- god this episode

- there are stark differences between Carnage and Venom and i think it well shows, especially in this episode

- Venom is honestly, scary

- Venom and Spiderman are a love-hate relationship

- “i can’t let you do this!” should’ve been the ultimate clue for Harry figuring shit out but NOPE

- Danny answers Peter’s call for help

- “we’re almost there” “Iron Fist, good”

- oooh shit

- the symbiote interacting with Harry is honestly the only basis Peter has for Venom and it really sets things up for the later season

- “indeed. i do. kick alot. with my feet!” this fucking kid

- “Harry!” “I’ve got him!” the IMMEDIATE reassurance, the moment of panic, then the calm. the way Danny knows. this isn’t Iron Fist talking to Peter Parker it’s Danny talking to Peter, telling him that Danny’s got this

- Danny’s doing his best and it’s so cute

- “how do i thwip?” aww Danny

- Danny asks for help, Peter’s on his level willing to do so

- this man spitting facts. cause i don’t know if it’s obvious, but Danny’s bigger in the shoulders than Peter is and Peter’s already said he doesn’t wash the costume but once or twice a month

- this episode i have love-hate relationship with, but it does give me excellent evidence

S2E9 House Arrest

- i have a love-hate relationshp with this episode too

- okay, so you might ask how this part counts too, but the only complaint Danny gets is his insence, which bother’s Peter’s sense of smell. easily fixed but Peter doesn’t ask Danny to stop. he’s got no issues compaining about the team and ther habits on any given day, but Danny never gets a complaint except for to us the viewers who don’t live in his world

- Danny also gets spoken about last, which i’m counting

- Danny throws a punch and Peter goes after him, which i count

- this fucking team is acting suspicious and it’s so cute once you know the reason

- Danny gives Peter a thank you because Danny is POLITE

- why are the team still in costume? there’s dozens of people coming over and you’re not out of costume yet?

- Peter’s not scolding Danny, he’s literally not even looking at him, he’s yelling at Ava, Sam, and Luke and Danny WALKS OVER

- casual gnome theft

- who’s the blonde in the picture? Peter’s mom?

- robotic voices means everything is going tits up

- Peter casually scooping the weights up like they’re nothing

- Peter really only thinks the worst of Sam sometimes, which is ANOTHER thing that turns me off that ship

- BECAUSE THEY’RE ALL DEALING EITH THEIR OWN CHALLANGES PETER

- the team trying to keep Peter from finding shit out while also fighting off the house security

- this team has three stupidly strong people on it; Peter, Danny, and Luke, which gives me the “they’ve totally arm wrestled” but then you have to think about the fact that Danny’s only strong like Peter and Luke when he’s charged up the iron fist

- “Death Trap Makeover”

- when you look at Danny, he’s already got his chi charged up and ready to go as he’s being smashed between the two walls. there’s nothing stopping him, he just won’t punch his way out. why? “i’m trying not to ruin your room” this COUNTS

- “when that man is generous enough to let me sleep on his floor” Danny slept in Peter’s room fucking conFIRMED

- do i even have to say it? Danny follows Peter’s orders without question, he’s the only one who does so FROM THE BEGINNING

- Danny get knocked into the wall, Peter’s engaging the enemy in seconds

- Danny climbs up, Peter’s right behind him

- Danny and Peter standing next to each other after a battle again

- headcanon: SHIELD does bi-weekly scannings of every single thing in the house to make sure the house would be perfect in the event it was destroyed

- “we where going to tell you. the party? it was for you.” cue me crying

- Danny’s the first one to speak up, almost the second Coulson’s finished speaking

- “maybe we can do some group yoga!” Danny, sweetie, Peter would probably do anything you asked of him

S2E10 The Man-Wolf

- fun fact, this episode’s title is forshadowing for later episodes

- this episode also has big evidence in it, season 2 is just full of big evidence for this ship and it’s great

- Peter takes a hit, Danny’s the first one who responds

- i headcanon that the LMDs also have illusions for each of the team members. they break them out for solo training sessions and special occasions

- Danny and Peter standing beside each other after battle, once again

- Peter’s love of the moon

- them all being moon geeks

- “drive faster, Danny!” “faster?” proceeds to drive faster

- Danny sounds so amused and fond when he says “faster?”, it’s so cute. it counts

- Danny literally spends the rest of the episode immensely worried the second we find the scratchmarks. it’s not just worried either, he actually looks scared

- the team splits up and Peter goes with Danny and Sam, why? likely because if you remove Sam’s helmet he’s no longer got access to his powers, and Danny’s just a normal human with no special abilities aside from the Iron Fist. Luke and Ava both have access to their powers at all times and Luke’s got impervious skin

- LOOK AT THEM, they’re terrified

- Peter and John have a lot in common and i think their relationship could be good

- Danny says a wise saying that John and Sam don’t get, but Peter just says, “here’s to NOT judging a book by its cover” which implies he understood exactly what Danny was saying. counts towards time spent togther

- “Earth to Spiderman” Danny’s literally acting like a completely different person here, I wonder- sees episode number oh that makes sense

- Peter apologizes to Danny for spacing out, which he does NOT do with other people

- well, you see, Spiderman, THESE jewels are inactive, the one in my chest is NOT

- sword!

- Danny gets thrown into the wall and the first thing he tells Peter is “stay on him, i’ll catch up!” ughhhh mans knows Peter so fucking well

- also, Peter checked on Danny before he did anything. if Danny’s talking, relatively unharmed, and saying “i’ll catch up” Peter’s fine to keep moving

- when he and Danny crash into each other, neither of them move to get up. with others, Peter’s on his feet in seconds, but with Danny, he’s content to lay there a minute

- Danny gets pinned to the floor and then picked up and once Peter sees this he’s moving and getting Danny out

- Danny’s injured in this episode to the point that he’s not getting up and it’s kinda scary cause Danny’s pretty fucking durable

- Danny’s not getting up and the walls are coming down around them, so Peter shoots his webs at Danny and pulls him closer. “Danny! i got you." i cannot explain how cute and loving this scene is to me

- Peter’s not “helping Danny walk” carrying him out, Peter’s legitamately carrying Danny bridal style!

- Danny’s first up the ladder, which might be because he can pilot the engine but may also be because he was injured to the point that he WASN’T GETTING UP

- Peter’s upset with himself because he’s leaving John behind and Danny rushes to comfort him about it

- Peter’s so supportive of his team. he’s always boosting them up and helping them out and it’s so sweet

- “on the moon, even I can pitch a Fist-Ball!” because you can’t on Earth? sir, you’re STRONGER than Luke is, wdym?

- Ava trusts that Peter’s got a plan, but Danny trusts Peter implicitely

- AND AGAIN I WILL SAY PETER ONLY HAS TO GIVE DANNY BARE BONES INSTRUCTIONS FOR DANNY TO UNDERSTAND HIS POINT

- Danny’s rushing to comfort Peter about John

- Fury may be a fucking idiot, but he’s a protective and realistic idiot and i love that for the team

S2E11 Swarm

- Danny’s not in this episode, no notable interactions. this episode is really funny though

S2E12 Itsy Bitsy Spider-Man

- in the wide shots for the opening, Peter and Danny are swimming next to each other

- the team is lucky Fury likes them otherwise, they'd be grounded

- this episode confuses me cause it's not like the team doesn't still have the control they have, they're just smaller now so it's harder to stand up to the things they normally would, like windmills or whatever it was Luke was doing

- you know the whole thing about the Maximoff twins being co-dependent in the MCU. I'm about a minute away from putting Peter and Danny on that level if they don't stop walking/standing right next to each other

- of course SHIELD has a daycare

- Loki as a child is not something I want to see again, mostly because of the route the writers took it

- also the team being oblivious

- Danny and Peter are both on the top of the piles when the team is trying the Trojan Horse escape

- you know, I really think this list wouldn't exist if the writers didn't make it so damn easy. when you start really paying attention it's so simple to see

- when Loki poofs away and then rematerializes, Peter and Danny land next to each other

- again, it's too fricking easy, Danny and Peter ate standing next to each other again

- okay so the entire fight from the team finding out the extra kid is Loki to them destroying the Destroyer armor takes 10 minutes? wack but okay

- Peter, grabbed by the head and swung around. Danny, goes in immediately

- Danny: has a problem, Peter: immediately has the solution

- I s2g if Peter and Danny don't stop standing next to each other before, during, or after battles-

- see! see! Luke is still strong enough to lift a big ass panda (which isn't light) with one hand when it has another person in it! they should be able to win the battle normally even if they're smaller!

- Loki went after Danny and Peter said "not on my watch" by webbing his legs together so he can't run anymore

- Loki goes after Peter and Danny says "not today!" by tearing out the anchors of the ferris wheel so it can be knocked into Loki

- Danny would've shot the norn stone to Peter, but Peter had a heartfelt speech to make

- the standard after battle standing right next to each other, complete with being unnecessarily close together

S2E13 Journey of the Iron Fist

- the opening sequence is adorable and I love how cartoonish it is

- Danny seems agitated from the get-go, which is the first clue that something's wrong, AND something Peter picks up on

- I mentioned in an early list that the weekly sparring session is (to my knowledge) something Dammy does specifically with Peter, and I hold to that

- "the spirit of a K'un L'un warrior beats in you" I'm sorry, I gotta just- minor fangirling squeals

- Danny being insistant that Peter learning to fight without his webshooters, telling him that they’re only a tool, and reminding Peter that he’s more that his webshooters is so fucking cute, man

- Danny is powerful enough to block Peter’s hits without even paying attention

- of course they’re fighting on the Brooklyn bridge

- Peter being impressed by Danny’s abilities and skills

- Peter being excited and Danny IMMEDIATELY being like “hey, no, focus. this isn’t a game” because he KNOWS this guy, as we’ll later find out

- Peter gets hurt and Danny goes to catch him, which COUNTS

- there are no words exchanged, no words that are said between either of them, and they still grab onto each other. the mutual understanding, the instant communication- i just fucking-

- Danny sounds worried- actually worried when he tells Peter to grab his webshooters

- “what about all that using ones ability talk”, “repitition begets skill, neither of which lie in you against THIS assassin”- because Danny knows that kind of people Peter faces, he’s been at Peter’s side for a year now, fighting the good fight and training right next to him. Danny knows Peter can handle himself in a fight, but not against this man- further evidence Danny KNOWS who this guy is. Danny wants Peter at his best in this fight (because he knows Peter will not leave) and for that, Peter needs his webshooters

- “there is no honor in you!”

- Iron Fist gets hurt, he falls, he hits the ground in front of some truck. he could defend himself against the truck with the Iron Fist, and get out of it, but his chi stays calm and Danny braces himself for a hit. Spider Man, the second Danny falls, is right there, webbing up the truck as fast as he can and standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF IRON FIST

- and again, Danny gets hurts, falls, and Peter says, “nope, not today!” literally sends him flying behind a fast moving cargo truck. and I’m supposed to NOT ship them? come on, man, they practically write themselves!

- AND THEN ONCE THE THREAT IS GONE HE GOES AND HELPS IRON FIST UP!! HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO SHIP THIS??

- the way they both immediately flip around when Danny’s birth name is used- knowing a heroes real name is dangeous, using it when said hero is in costume is a big no-no and no one respects that more than Peter

- “is that Papa Fist?” “no, he’s-” the way Danny was just gonna explain everything to Peter. the way Danny just automatically started doing so, yes this counts, Danny doesn’t do that for other people, he’s very tight lipped about his home country

- and then Danny just gives Peter his belongings. there’s no will or other instructions, just gives everything to Peter. there’s no stipulation that Danny thought important enough to say, he’s literally leaving EVERYTHING to Peter

- and Peter doesn’t even CARE. he just wants to know what’s going on

- and, even better, Danny looks so sad, and the sad music playing in the background? no, man, i’m fucking done

- “yeah, we’re not just gonna let this happen, right?” no, no we’re not

- “why would Danny Dollat-signs sleep on my floor?” the whole rich thing and Danny giving him all his earthly possessions doesn’t even hit until later, he’s more concerned with why Danny would sleep on a floor if he doesn’t have to

- and then he immediately disregards the whole rich thing because Danny’s more important to him, he even says “it wouldn’t be enough. obviously.”

- “as flies the Iron Fist, so goes the Spiderman.” .... do I even need to say anything? do i? yeah, no, this fucking counts right here

- "beautiful” is the first thing Peter thinks about Danny’s home country. we’ll get into why that counts in another episode

- Peter makes it a point to say he’s with Danny, that he’s just visiting, because he understands that he knows NOTHING about this country and it’s customs, he’s very calm and relaxed and doesn’t even fight when he’s attacked first

- Danny needs to know nothing other than Peter is here and he’s being attacked before he’s jumping in to help, to defend his best friend coughcoughlovercoughcough against the guy he’s known since he was a child, callng Peter his guest without hesitation

- Peter asks a question and Danny answers it immediately

- “if you throw your lot in with this fool, you’ll suffer the same fate!” “gladly.” omfggggg, no hesitation, NO hesitation

- the way Danny turns back to look at Peter, to check on him

- Danny’s quick to reassure Peter that in his culture, Peter isn’t being insulted, and then is like welp, you’ve never been here, let’s get you inside and warm

- Danny just patiently answers any and every question Peter has. no one else does that! and you can blame it on the fact that no one’s as zen as Danny or Peter’s askign a lot of questions, but none of them are like that with anyone else either!

- Danny likes orange soda, that’s adorable

- “talk.” and Danny DOES

- Danny specifies Peter when he says he chose to learn

- the immediate concern for his friend, even as Danny keeps trying to explain

- also, K’un L’un is a private place, doesn’t trust outsiders, so it’s doubtful Peter would’ve gotten into a private medical area without Danny being like “i want him with me”

- he fucking- breathes deep Peter, who’s been on the ceiling and out of the way the entire scene, immediately jumps down to the floor to help Danny stand up because he needs to be on his feet for this

- Danny doesn’t even try to see about the other warriors. he knows who he wants, he knows how he can win with honor, he knows how to handle this competition. Peter’s the one he wants. Peter’s who he names. no hesitation.

- Peter keeps a hand on Danny through the entire interaction, if you notice. It’s not a “hiding” or a “holding back” or anything, he’s literally helping Danny. that hold he’s got on Danny is one to keep Danny steady, one hand on his arm, the other on Danny’s back

- “don’t take it personally” mhm mhm, yep. counts

- i’m not gonna cover the trials much, tbh. there’s not a lot i can say about them in reference to Spideyfist, but i’ll do my best

- STARTING?

- Peter fights to the last because “Danny... needs... me”

- Peter APOLOGIZES to Danny like it’s his fucking fault this guy didn’t play by the rules. this counts

- Peter still saves Scorpion even after everything

- awwww the old monks

- Danny and Peter actually have very similar fighting styles when you think about it, and nothing showcases that more than this episode. they’re both on the defense with Scorpion until they have the oppurtunity, that’s how they both are in a fight, holding back until it’s necessary to fight

- Peter realizes Danny got his eyesight back and asks about it, you can hear a little concern

- Danny choosing that moment to compliment Peter, a perfect counter point to the abuse Peter’s been suffering all say, AND the only compliment Peter cares about enough to answer

“let’s no push it” with an amused smile

- the HUG Danny gives him, the way he doesn’t let go until the monks call for him

- and they let him go back!

- Spiderman being excited about the one year as well!

A Comprehensive List of Spideyfist Interactions (pt.3)

hello and welcome back to: reasons Spideyfist is canon. a series where i take you through each episode of The Ultimate Spiderman and show you why i believe that Peter Parker and Danny Rand are dating in canon. and also give you commentary on the show itself as i do

warnings for: episode spoilers, season spoilers, action/injury description, unsolicited commentary, probable cussing, violence, caps lock, mentions of vomit

this part features episodes 14 through 20 of season one

S1E14 Awesome:

- it’s not really shown much because of the sarcasm, slapstick comedy, and getting beaten up, but Peter is actually pretty funny

- i love that Harry and Danny became good friends. trauma buddies, though Harry likely doesn’t know it

- Luke was 100% willing to split the work, but Peter’s a control freak and wanted to do it all himself

- okay science nerd, let’s run this out. you could’ve said, “i made replicas”

- Spidey-Sense works, it’s just that you’re so used to it you’re ignoring it

- Luke! you’re not supposed to give away your secret identity you dumbass! picking up an entire table and throwing it like it’s nothing doesn’t help that

- when the team is getting ready to fight but not yet in their hero suits, Danny lines up behind Peter

- quick change!

- yes lets eat the villain. and that’s the end of Juggernaught

- Danny’s the only one with an idea to corrale Andy that actually WORKS

- given that we’ve seen Danny go through what was like six levels of solid steel with the Iron Fist under conditions that where far more stressful than this thing with Andy, i think he was holding focus for something like an hour or more

- the second Danny looses focus, Peter is right there to pick up the slack

- when Andy vomitted up everything he’d eaten and Luke went to go search through it, Danny was seconds behind with actal FEAR on his face

S1E15 For Your Eye Only:

- Nick Fury isn’t allowing actual CHILDREN to be children

- “you��re like a fortune cookie” call backs to everytime Peter calls Danny a fortune cookie but he also added, “without the delicious cookie part” and never once says that to Danny, which i am counting

- the team constantly harps on how idiodic Peter is and how he needs to train more, but he can take on villains like the Juggernaught or Rhino by himself with minimal assistance from outside sources and still win

- since the series is told through Peter’s point of view, we’re assuming that the team isn’t on the ship. Peter was coming in for training, right? just because he was training alone doesn’t mean the others are. it’s likely they’re all trapped somewhere too. probably unconscious, given that none of them where seen during the Hellicarrier take-over

- no notable interactions between Danny and Peter, Danny’s not even in this episode, so here’s a headcanon instead: Danny was trapped in his room and knocked unsconscious (as where the rest of the team), so when he and the team come out of the unconsciousness the next morning, Danny is shocked to find that Peter’s making sure he’s okay.

S1E16 Beetle-Mania

- DANNY SITS CROSS-LEGGED IN CHAIRS

- poor Peter

- Danny and Peter are sitting across from each other, which i count because if you love someone you want to keep them in eyesight at all times. plus this is also a parallel to being on a dinner date

- listen, Danny’s not the type to brag about who he is and what he can do. this is legitamely the only time we hear him talk about himself like he could defeat a supervillain by himself. the only other time he does this, to my current knowledge, is with the Goblin and it’s in reference to the team as a whole. Danny’s talking himself up to seem more impressive. which is also why he goes last. why would he do that, you ask? for Peter, obviously!

- Peter only says he’s kidding when Danny is the one talking. Danny says “to quit is to fail, to fail is to-” and Peter cuts him off before he can go on and i don’t think this is because Peter’s annoyed with him

- “tell her to change it!” no Sam that’s not how we do things, shut up “ASK her to change it”

- honorable mentions of SpideyTiger: Ava puts her finger under Peter’s chin and says, “yeah, use that Parker Charm”

- MJ is a fucking QUEEN

- Peter doesn’t level his LookTM at Danny, he levels it at Luke, then pauses and goes after MJ

- the look on his face when he says “and talk about incompetant” like that’s the last thing he wants to say about Danny them

- wasn’t the building just full of people? and NO ONE thought to alert the authorities?

- the first one(s) Peter thinks about when the team doesn’t answer his backup call is Danny (and Luke)

- see, all the Sam/Nova bashing? i’m not okay with that as a precursor for a ship in this case

- honorable mentions of poly!team: they’re all so freaking protective of each other and it’s really cute

- idk if this makes sense to anyone else, but 90% of the time, the first one to follow Peter into battle is Danny

- Beetle shoots lazers in Danny’s direction and Peter’s immediate response is to blind him and shout “bad Beetle, bad!”

- at the “end” of the battle, Peter touches down next to Danny and says “how awesome are we?” while looking directly at Danny

- 90% of the time, Danny is also at Peter’s back when they or the team is standing together

- headcanon: Danny’s the one who asked for Fury to shut JJJ up

S1E17 Snow Day:

- the prank the team pulled on Peter was kinda fucked up, but also really cute

- “not bad” “i have found harmony”

- given positioning of the team before Peter was splashed, Danny struck first. Peter smiles when he gets splashed by Danny

- Danny was frustrated with Luke who knocked over the sand castle thing, but not Peter who threw the ball

- Danny serves to Peter specifically in the volleyball scene

- the entire team getting freaked out about the kid

- Luke is the biggest of the team and therefore perfect to hide behind

- Danny emerges from behind Luke with Peter seconds behind him

- Danny and Peter stand side by side when the team is back to back and when the team is retreating to the jet. Danny and Peter are also desposited from the sand to be standing side by side

- Danny is more concerned with what’s going on around him than what’s happening with the sand

- “copy me” “totally copied. to EVERONE” mans wants his boyfriend in on the fun but doesn’t want to openly admit how gone he is

- Danny is the one Peter talks to when he comes upon the rest of the group, instead of all three of his teammates

- “he noticed” pffft, yeah he did

- “Iron Fist, he cannot get back to dry land!” Danny knows exactly what this means and exactly what to do with one sentence from Peter, again implying familiarity we haven’t seen with the rest of the team

- Peter doesn’t doubt Danny will know exactly what to do. Peter has to explain things to the other members of the team, he doesn’t have to explain a thing to Danny

S1E18 Damage:

- Peter says Danny’s name first when introducing the team

- “Iron Fist, grab a kid!” he grabs two

- Danny’s the only who doesn’t stop Peter from talking, despite being right next to him and in prime position to do so, so Sam actively reaches around Danny to stop Peter from talking

- the camera zooming out from Fury’s face shows Danny and Peter only instead of the whole team. the series does this a lot

- JJJ is unnecessarily obsessed with Spiderman being a bad person

- honoable mentions of powerspideyfist: when the team is leaning down to look at the now-shrunken Sam, Danny settles between Luke and Peter, unnecessarily close to both and way too close to be “just friends”

- the above also counts towards spideyfist

- Danny being the one the team trusts with the shrink thing. why? Ava would shrink Peter if given half a chance while Peter’s annoying her and Luke may be smart but he’s also a brute force guy, so he probably doesn’t aim well (yet). Sam’s too small right now and we saw what happened when Peter used the damn thing.

- the team doesn’t set off Peter’s Spider-Sense despite all being pretty dangerous in their own rights and their own ways which i think speaks volumes to how he feels about them

- Danny asking actual questions in order to better understand when Peter’s running a theory

- also, Fury seems to be the acting guardian for Danny, Ava, Sam, and Luke because they all seem so worried about disappointing him. hmm, this give me ideas...

- when Peter gets stuck on Mack and wants to push further, Luke and Danny offer an alternate way to investigate and Ava and Sam just get angry. another reason i ship what i ship

- “i’ll figure this out out myself” as in he’s had hunches before and the team has listened and gone along with it, which leads me to believe that Fury’s yelling at them is the reason they aren’t going along with it this time

- the little fix-it bots in Mack’s office are so cute!

- sighs honorable NovaSpidey mentions: Sam was the one to follow Peter when Peter went to Mack’s office

- also correct me if i’m wrong, but Peter has only ever refered to Sam Alexander by “Nova” if they aren't in school

- Danny’s the first one who wants to apologize when he’s realized he was wrong about things

- the team-ups are cute

- in the finale battle, Danny punches one of the bad guys and right after, it’s Peter’s turn. which i’m counting just because it’s cute and suggests that one always follows the other

- and Danny and Peter are standing next to each other after a battle again

- no notable interactions, Danny’s not in this episode

- HOWEVER, Peter admits to taking care of four teammates, so have the headcanon that is Danny being sick and Peter looking after him because the rest are absolutely USELESS at taking care of sicknesses unless it’s their own

S1E20 Run Pig Run:

- poor Peter, he gets run over all the time as both Peter Parker and Spiderman

- “i thought about it, but not even i am that merciless” this version of Loki is literally a whiney teenager who’s planned revenge for fun, which is hilarious to me

- i remember first watching this episode and wondering why the hunters wouldn’t just call the hunt off when too many people came to the “hog’s” defense, but as i’m older and more experienced and understanding, i understand the Asgaurdian custom and tradition to be followed

- “and that of your young warrior friends, you will be properly protected” translation: “bitch you can’t protect a fly in your condition, get your ass in the school”

- the SECOND there’s a threat everyone is dropping everything and defending Peter and i love that for the team

- Flash hid in a fucking locker of all places. mans is an idiot i swear

- the Flash joke is hilarious

- Danny doesn’t yank Peter out of the way, he literally covers Peter with his body to protect him. (me: smiling and blushing and having a fluff-induced minor freak-out)

- Peter expresses discomfort with being held and Danny puts him down

- Danny held on to Peter so long he actually had to put him down

- Peter’s standing beside Danny on the ship

- “convince them to be vegitarian” Danny’s never actually joked during battle before. wonder who he learned it from coughcoughSpidermancoughcough

- Loki starts going after Peter’s team and Peter demands Loki take up his grievances with Peter
