TFP: Escape from Overlord AU

So, I always thought there was untapped potential with how Smokescreen got to Earth. Instead of a straightforward escape from a generic Decepticon ship, I thought it'd be neat to have him break out of Overlord's arena, instead.

For a bit of background, Overlord is obsessed with provoking and getting a fight out of Megatron. So, he and his renegade crew go around capturing both Autobots and Decepticons in the hopes of nabbing somebody on either side that Megatron wants. That means that they go after prison transports the most, especially for "entertainment" (ie torture and/or gladiator fights). The lucky ones in good or decent shape, like Smokescreen, get sent to the arena. The unlucky ones get tortured to death for info and sick funzies.

Smokescreen obvs does well by combo of being in better shape and using tactics that his Elite Guard training and exposure to the Hall of Records contributes to. Only problem being that he doesn't like killing his opponent as much as he's encouraged and even manages to save a Decepticon at one point. A guy named Deadlock. . .

Growing up among the Decepticon ranks however, is infinitely worse. - When Rev-Tune, a well-known troublemaker with some rather uncanny skills and interests, is employed by Nighthawk, the sparkling of Megatron, to assist in a ploy that will allow them to rise among the ranks, the wannabe scientist creates something that not only garners some rather valuable information, but acts as a means of temporary escape.

But when the duo make some rather unlikely friends, they find themselves left wondering if the cause they had been raised in was truly worth fighting for.

A mysterious figure in a darkness approach a crystal ball & starts to chant some odd language & soon 7 portals appear

At the same time…

Bayverse….

Bayverse bots,cons,& humans soon sucked by portal,before even optimus could leave & Galvatron starts running.

Animatedverse

After prowl's funeral,before anyone starts said something,soon they too sucked up,screaming in suprise & panic

Armadaverse

Before starscream sacrifice himself,a bright light blinded them & soon they disappeared in the thin air.

G1verse

A portal appear on the sky on the middle of their battle,some autobots & decepticons we're sucked up soon as well.

TFPverse

Before optimus gone to the well of the all sparks,the well of the all sparks glow brightly that blinded them,that once the light is gone,so do they.

IDWverse

Before the lost light crew even gone back to cybertron,a portal infront of them,& before anyone can calculate what they are seeing,they too soon vanish.

RIDverse

After defeating the council,a portal appears & sucked them at the same time, some of their friends in another place soon too sucked up.

At the astral realms….

All of them from their own universe appears,when they all see each other soon they stood up & ready their weapons but before any can fire,someone come out wearing a cloak,spoke in calm booming voice lined between in male & female.

{"Welcome to the realm of primes...,My name is Ren,some of our…...higher beings had something in their minds…..they wanted to you all watch this… & some time later some of us will asked you a questions….for now let's get into introductions…"

"But for the time being stay in your chambers for each of you & you own alternative counterparts,each chamber has the acronym of your own universe….."}

They heard a clap & everything around turns into a replica of the cyber theater,every bots & cons we're shocked,then a minicon twins came up to them,bearing a zodiac symbol on there foreheads.

"Greetings we are the geminicons,one of the cyber zodiac guardians,today will be your host & we will guide to help you & answer some of your questions"

All looked confuse,some weary or catious,some hostile,but the twins keep on going with calm smile on their face.

"Come & follow us,we will show you around & when you need some questions answered,*holds a small rod with a button* you can call ms.renia,she has all the answers you need to know….well some of them *giggles*"

Soon the two mysterious"geminicons",while remain on guard,as they walked down the hall,many murmur as some couldn't help but feel their sparks in pained as they remember their own home,so fimiliar before the final days of their world.

Later….

In the security room….

Renia,chuckles as she ready her list of movies & videos ready,as she looks at her cameras,she smiles as she sees they are settling in for a bit.

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

In Mind, Body, and Soul, I am soooo looking forward to writing the end. 😅 Once I’ve written that last scene (whichever scene it is... I’m starting to write parts out of order to take advantage of muse attention) and can call the fic done, I think I’m going to go have a nice lie down for a while.

But I have a few WIPs I’ve left by the wayside while I work on this epic. One is an unrelated TFP one-shot, while the other is a sequel to a Sparkr fic. I also have dabbled around in a little sequel to A Bonding, a Coronation, and a Funeral, and a silly humanformers AU.

Basically, at this point, I’m looking forward to writing anything other than MBS. 😅

18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterizations?) Tell us about them.

Almost all of my longer fics have versions that are different than what was eventually written/posted. For example, in The Renegade and the Hound, the original reason for Bluestreak running away from Praxus was very different. (I can’t remember the details, but IIRC he was running because he had been sold by his creators to another house for marriage, and he had no interest in the other mech. Something like that, and there wasn’t any previous lover.) And in The Spark Remembers, in my first draft outline, Prowl had no idea that Bluestreak’s spark wasn’t his, and everything that happened was all a big mistake. I think it worked better the way it was eventually written. 😊

And... There’s a death at the end of Bonding (not saying who because spoilers) that made even me really sad (but honestly the plot had taken us there and for character development, that death had to happen...) I’ve toyed with the idea of writing a very happy AU where that death didn’t happen, just for the fuzzies.

Say hello to my insecure little dragonfly! Their name is Rev-Tune, they're part of my TFP Renegades AU and all they wanted was to be a doctor and help people but instead they were turned into a giant bug. (An insecticon hybrid technically, but they're not gonna get mad if you call them a bug)

I haven't finalized their design yet, this is just a doodle to give me an idea of how I want them to look in their "post-insectcon" design. (This design was a bit of a challenge since they're also a KOBD baby and I had to make them look at least somewhat like their parents while also making them a bug, and without coloring, they kinda ended up looking like Bumblebee by accident)

Some of you may be familiar with Revs from my fic, "Faith Walks on Broken Glass", who, because they're not an insecticon... yet... looks more like this:

Now, you may be wondering,

"How the fuck did they get turned into an insecticon?!!!"

Galaxy Brain: Making an AU of my TFP(And… Slightly TFA?) AU and making ship art for that with an OC-that-I-still-need-to-post-an-updated-version-of-their-bot-design and a badly drawn bog monster version of TFA Shockwave cuz why the fuck not?

Basically, it’s an AU of my TFP AU, “Renegades”, which is about a group of my OCs (and several Decepticons) forming a third faction that aims to assist those who’ve either become disillusioned with their faction, or whose lives have been ruined by the war, as well as to fight against injustice and tyranny.

The OC I have shown here is a Humanformers version of my OC, Mythos (who I’ve made a couple of voice recordings for). While they’re twitchy, stubborn, and prone to bite if provoked, Mythos is also kind, playful, and affectionate, and has the spark of a poet. To sum up their story, Mythos was brutally experimented on as a sparkling, and as a result, they had both their memories and their formative years stolen from them, with their odd behavior, appearance, and ungodly abilities making them appear to many as an abomination. Eventually, they’re able to heal with the help of the Autobots and the Renegades, who become their found (although one or two Renegades might actually be related to them *wink wink*) family. So why do I ship Mythos with TFA Shockwave? Because the bastard who experimented on them was none other than Prime Shockwave, and I thought, “Hey, wouldn’t it be funny if Mythos got stuck in TFA, was forced to relive their trauma because the Elite Guard is a pile of shit, they and fell in love with Longarm Prime, thinking he’s the only person they could trust and not knowing he’s an alternate version of one of like, five people who’s ruined their life? And wouldn’t it be even funnier if Animated Shockwave accidentally got infected with feelings and started growing morals because of their influence, while also being afraid of hurting Mythos like his Prime counterpart did?” And because my dumbass is more addicted to angst than Megatron is to space crack, my immediate answer was, “Hell fucking yes!”

So you might be wondering, “Okay, but wtf is this AU of an AU supposed to be?”

Well, my monsterfucking ass has been wanting to turn Shockers into a monster for them to thirst over for a while, and I love Swamp Thing, and when I realized that the whole “Swamp Thing not being Alec Holland while also kinda still being Alec Holland” thing fits super well with the whole “Longarm is Shockwave’s alter-ego” thing and that Abby Arcane’s death powers in the comics fits well with Mythos’s fucked up powers, I jumped on it and now we have a TFP/TFA/Swamp Thing AU!

I’m calling this the “Shock-Thing” AU, and it’s basically Swamp Thing 2019 except it’s humanformers versions of TFP and TFA characters as well as my and my friend, @ijustdontknowsometimes‘s OCs.

Another attempt at voicing my TFP OC, Mythos! This time I eased up a bit on the editing so they could be easier to understand, and I also attempted to give them a bit of an accent (tho I probably really need to work on that).

Anyways, since the last time I made Mythos all sad and lonely, this time I decided to go for something much more light hearted. Now they're journeying to earth with a friend they saved on cybertron, so thankfully things appear to be looking up for them!

Welp, my art final's next block, and I don't have to take my APES final because I'm taking the AP exam, so I'm just gonna start writing a self indulgent transformers fic where one of my TFP OCs gets whisked into the TFA universe and accidentally falls in love with the TFA version of their arch nemesis, and I won't be posting it for a long ass time because it takes place after the events of the first two or three fics I'll be writing for my Renegades AU.
