So for the wip game u posted how about Rako Hardeen w/ Force-Sensitive!Cody 👀👀👀👀👀

Essentially it's a Rako Hardeen fic where Cody just. Refuses to believe Obi-Wan is dead and refuses to act as if he is. Partially because he just cannot believe that Obi-Wan could actually be taken out by some random bounty hunter, but also he just has this unshakable gut feeling that he can't fully explain or put into words, and swears that he can still feel Obi-Wan alive somehow... ;)

But his vode are worried, as it's not like Cody to be in such vehement denial over something like this.

Here's a little snippet of my medic OC Scabs discussing with Cody

“You’re implying they faked his death. What reason would they have to do that?” Cody shakes his head, and shrugs. He’s still staring at the damned wall. “There've been times when this war has made less sense than that, Scabs. I’ve believed more outrageous things with less intel.” Scabs sighs, and frowns. He absolutely hates arguing with any of his vode, but with the way Cody has been acting, so unlike his usual self… Scabs just wants to understand. “What about Skywalker? Kix told me he’s been a mess since the funeral. Wouldn’t he have been able to tell if Kenobi was still alive?” Cody finally meets his eyes, fixing him with a steely gaze, one that Scabs has seen used against unruly shinies countless times. It doesn’t have the same effect against Scabs, no— instead that cold, hard, ache in Cody’s eyes leaves Scabs feeling pained for a much different reason. “I think that Skywalker is too often blinded by his own arrogance and rage to consider the bigger picture.”

Hi! This ask is for the WIP game, I wanted to know more about Codywan Bodyswap AU :)

But yes! I one of my favorite things about the Bodyswap AU is exploring how disconcerting it would be to awaken one day with a completely new sense, which is what I imagine the Force is somewhat comparable to. For Obi-Wan, I imagine it could've still been overwhelming when he was an untrained child, but it was something he's always known, that's always been a part of him. But for Cody, to very suddenly feel everyone around him on an indescribable level, to feel the life of the universe itself within his soul, to have no shielding and no training to separate his own mind from the Force, I feel like it'd be genuinely incapacitating, and I looove delving into that specific brand of angst.

And for Obi-Wan it's the opposite (though I know that's something that's already often explored in fic). Here, I think he's not completely cut off, as Obi-Wan knows what the Force feels like and Cody has to have at least some midichlorians (as I understand it) so even though it's not enough for Cody to really wield the Force in his own body, it's enough that Obi-Wan, with his training, can still just barely feel it. But it's horribly muted, he's all but blind to it, and while it's not incapacitating like it is for Cody it's still a terrible awful feeling for him.

Oh and I've also been having a lot of fun writing an OC villain! So here's a tiny lil snippet about that :)

As Cody struggles fruitlessly at the bonds, his mind finally begins to clear. Surely if the weapon they’ve been looking for was whatever soundwave knocked them out, they would’ve been simply executed. Grimly, he considered the copious machinery around him, the obvious predicament he and Kenobi are in, and the rest of his men… still locked up like rats in a cage. If that wasn’t enough, their damn captor began monologuing. Saying that yes, he’d joined with the Separatists for their funding, he had no true allegiance to either side of the war, that his only loyalty was to science. Given his current situation, however, Cody can’t really bring himself to give a fuck about the man’s ostentatious grandstanding.

Last person I sent this type of ask to was about Gaius/Alice since they’re an underrated ship that I don’t see talked about too much, but I’m also curious for people’s opinions on Merlin/Freya.

Merlin/Freya… so, I think they’re cute, but I’m not crazy about them. I think the issue for me is the fact they had written Merlin falling for her SO fast, to the point he was going to leave everything behind when he’d literally just met her, and it was so out of character for me. It’s not the fact that he fell for her that’s OOC, it’s the speed and depth.

I think they have a cute dynamic and they are both SO sweet to each other and I love it. I could see being more into them if they had done like, he gets her out of Camelot and visits her every so often and it’s a little more of a slow burn. I think that actually has a lot of potential.

I just think the writers kind of pushed me away from the ship with how much they pushed Merlin’s feelings for her. Like, I 100% believe he would go above and beyond to help her, because that’s who he is, but I don’t think he’d leave behind literally everyone he loves for someone he just met a day or two ago. Especially Arthur and Gaius.

I’ll rate these ships out of 100, like a test. So, I give Merlin x Freya:
