Danny was NOT above punting a child. Danny didn't want to be bleeding out on antique rugs. But Danny is also conscious enough to know that this is in no way his fault. It's not his fault he ended up in a cult after getting chased by GiW agents across international borders. Which was bullshit by the way - their justification was already tentative at best, and they had no business operating out of the states (they had no business operating in the states, but I digress.)

In reality, Danny only groaned at the kid.

Hey guys so my parents and the people around me have allowed me to continue to be the same person I always was but you see my friend over there he's changed and he's just not fun anymore and also I think he would be more popular if he changed his whole personality and I will say this in public instead of addressing it with my friend in private. I just can't accept that he may have changed (as people do) and now I feel comfortable legitimising the hate my friend has gotten for being a pr-robot by confirming those ideas of change and those ideas of him being a pr-robot and i've thereby opening him up to more criticism. Oh but obviously it's working for him so good for him.

Lando knows the shit George gets for this seemingly sudden shift in personality so how in good condcious can he legitimise the idea that George has changed seemingly for the worst - because he's no longer popular - in an interview where he's stated the death threats he's recieved. Lando knows full well how people can make small words/actions into big scandals and send death threats, the man has gone through it so he knows confirming these ideas about PR63 will only continue to bring hate. Regardless of that you just don't talk about how your friend has changed in public. Just have a private heart to heart.

Losing my mind at seeing Twitter Discourse where a girl talks about being a waitress and how sometimes people don't acknowledge her or reply to her at all when she speaks to them and how it feels dehumanising and all the people in the replies are like UM.
