Optimus Prime adopting a sparkling with reactions from the Decepticons

Continuation of last request.

Optimus adopting a sparkling reactions from Autobots

SFW, Platonic, Familial, Cybertronain reader

Lately there had been more Decepticon activity than usual, meaning less time for Buddy to spend time with Optimus.

He tried to spend his free time with Buddy, but he was so tired.

“Hey Prime—Woah…”--Bumblebee

Optimus faceplanted on a book while Buddy was watching something on the datapad.

“I should probably go get Ratchet.”--Bumblebee

Optimus snapping awake.

“Don’t do that!”--Optimus

“Prime!”—Bumblebee

Startled sparkling noises.

“Sorry about that.”--Optimus

“Oh, it’s okay Optimus. No harm done. Hi Buddy!”—Bumblebee

Buddy waving.

“But please don’t tell Ratchet. I haven’t slept in 2 decacycles and I think he’s onto me…”--Optimus

Buddy soon started to notice that everyone else was becoming more and more tired by the day. Their regular babysitters looked tired every time it was their turn to handle Buddy. Not having much energy to deal with a sparkling. Buddy regularly started spending more time with the Dinobots, which they were happy to have Buddy over.

“Hey Grimlock, I brought Buddy over.”--Wheeljack

“Hmmm… Why Tiny Buddy come so much now?”--Grimlock

“Well Optimus and some of the others are taking more patrol shifts after the recent Con activity in the area.”--Wheeljack

“So…”--Grimlock

We cant take care of them right now Grimlock. That’s why we need you guys to watch Buddy until we come back.”--Wheeljack

Oh, Me Grimlock understand now.”--Grimlock

“Thank you—”--Wheeljack

“Buddy is Grimlock sparkling now!”--Grimlock

“WHAT NO—”--Wheeljack

“Dinobot’s who say Tiny Buddy is Grimlock sparkling say ‘eye’!”--Grimlock

“This is not up for debate Grimlock! Buddy is still—”--Wheeljack

“Eye!”--Dinobots

“5 against 1. Dinobot’s win!”--Grimlock

“Oh Primus…”--Wheeljack

Meanwhile on patrol…

Optimus suddenly stopping.

“Whats wrong Prime? See any Con’s?”--Ironhide

“It’s the Buddy tingle…”--Optimus

“Is Buddy okay?”--Bumblebee

“… I’ll need to get back to base earlier than usual.”--Optimus

But then they started getting called in.

Buddy started being left alone with Grampa Sparkplug and Spike.

One morning Buddy tried keeping Optimus from getting out of the base by holding onto his servo for dear life. Optimus simply put them back into their makeshift crib and patted their helm, gently closed the door, and walked off for his morning patrols.

Prime thought he was leaving Buddy under the supervision of the Dinobots.

He didn’t know that the Dinobots had gone with Wheeljack and Hound to go see the new outdoor museum.

The Dinobots thought that Buddy was safe in the base with Ratchet and Sparkplug.

Ratchet and Sparkplug were out in town with Hoist and Grapple getting some more spare parts for the med bay and future projects for Wheeljack.

Ratchet and Sparkplug thought Buddy was with Bumblebee, Spike, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.

The four of them were on a scouting mission that Prime had sent them on.

Which brings us back to Buddy.

Buddy for the first time since they had been found, was all alone in the base.

Buddy tried calling for anyone to come and get them.

After a while of calling Buddy started crying.

And crying hard.

Soundwave was trying to collect his thoughts.

He was on a mission from Megatron to get some more intel on Teletran one with his mini’s.

“Man, that was easy!”--Frenzy

“I know right! How many times has that loser Spike fallen for the old ‘lost casseste player’ thing?”--Rumble

“Too many to count.”--Frenzy

“Rumble, Frenzy: Quiet.”--Soundwave

“But—”--Rumble

“Comence operation: Teletran—”--Soundwave

“WWAAAAHHHHH!”--Buddy

“What was that?”--Frenzy

“Who was that?! I thought every one left!”--Rumble

“WWWAAAHHHHH!”--Buddy

“New operation: Soundwave investigate. Ravage, Frenzy, Rumble, Lazerbeak get Teletran One information.”--Soundwave

“On it, Boss!”--Rumble

Soundwave used his telepathic powers to seek the mind who was in the base.

He was hit with a sudden wave of raw emotions.

Sadness.

Anger.

Worry.

Fear.

So much Fear.

He wasted no time going and seeing who this was.

The closer he got to the room the more he could hear the screams.

The screams sounded like a youngling.

No Autobot would start torturing natives of this planet… right?

The new blast of screams caused him to nearly rip the door from its hinges.

RRRIIIIIIPPPPPP!

“Who is there? Show your self.”--Soundwave

“WWWAAAaahh?”--Buddy

“A… sparkling?”--Soundwave

Happy sparkling noises.

“Operation: Adoption in process.”--Soundwave

Sparkling reaching upward.

“Operation Adoption: Complete. Sparkling: Mine now.”--Soundwave

“Hey, Soundwave we got the—Sweet Primus! Is that a sparkling?!”--Rumble

“Rumble: Hush.”--Soundwave

“Hey—”--Frenzy

“Shhh! Soundwave has a sparkling!”--Rumble

“A sparkling!?”--Frenzy

“Frenzy: Hush.”--Soundwave

“The Autobots left them alone?”--Frenzy

“Answer: positive.”--Soundwave

“… You’re gonna take them, aren’t you?”--Rumble

Soundwave tucking in the sparkling into his chassis.

Dad mode was activated.

As soon as he was outside of the entrance, he started hearing some of the younger Autobots coming near. Quickly putting Buddy into his Chassis, Soundwave quietly ran into the night.

Soundwave made it back to the Nemesis where he took Buddy out of his chassis along with the other cassettes.

Soundwave doesn’t know what happened in there, but it turns out the cassettes had made some sort of blood oath to look after the sparkling.

Everyone is crowding around the small family trying to get a look at the sparkling.

The minicons tried forming a protective barrier between them and the sparkling.

“Hey back up Screamer! You’ll scare the kid!”--Rumble

“How dare you—”--Stascream

Ravage and Lazerbeak standing by Buddy’s side daring the Second in Command to come closer.

“Fine… I didn’t want to see it anyways.”--Starscream

“Where did you fine the sparkling?”--Thundercracker

“Autobot base. Base empty. Sparkling only one there.”--Soundwave

“Did you get the information?”--Starscream

“Information gained successfully.”--Soundwave

“Nice, but who’s going to tell Megatron?”--Skywarp

“Whose, going to tell me what?”--Megatron

Sparkling sneezing noises.

“What…”--Megatron

The crowd was parted when Megatron entered the room. Soundwave stated what happened during his mission. Leaving Megatron a bit disgusted with his enemy.

How could Prime be so irresponsible for leaving the sparkling alone.

They even have humans that can look after the sparkling.

Well maybe not Spike, but the other ones are more competent than that one!

Now Megatron isn’t that dumb.

He knows where to draw the line in his ways, especially with new Cybertronian sparklings.

But at the same time, he wants to teach Prime a lesson.

“Soundwave, you will have custody of the sparkling until the end of the week.”--Megatron

“Affirmative.”--Soundwave

“Listen, my army! This sparkling is not to be harmed under no circumstance! They will be part of the Decepticon army until the end of the week. Some of you will be looking after the sparkling, so you better plant that idea in your processors. Now any questions?”--Megatron

“Here!”--Thundercracker

“Yes Thundercracker.”--Megatron

“Are we going to have to give the sparkling a name? Because I don’t want to call them ‘sparkling’ every single time.”--Thundercracker

“Umm…”--Megatron

“Buddy!”--Buddy

“…Did—did the kid—”--Skywarp

“Buddy! Buddy! Buddy!”--Buddy

“I guess that’s their name.”--Rumble

The Cons decide to agree to one rule: No one is going to get attached.

Right?

You have Con’s who are already building up their emotional wall higher already wishing the week would be over.

Then you have Con’s like Soundwave who are already printing out copies for sharing the custody over the sparkling.

Everyone swears not to get attached.

That is the one thing they all fail to do.

As Buddy guardian during the week, he makes sure that most of his assignments are base operated.

Megatron can deal with it until the week is over.

The minicons are the primary babysitters for the sparkling.

Rumble and Frenzy try to teach the sparkling how to rough house which ends up with both fighting each other over the best way to give someone an uppercut.

Ravage likes to take naps near the sparkling.

Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw together like giving the sparkling little flying lessons.

Ratbat likes cuddling the sparkling when they are deep asleep, he’ll leave as soon as the sparkling starts waking up.

Soundwave entering back to his habsuite after some decoding.

“Rumble. Frenzy. Where is Buddy?”--Soundwave

Soundwave sees a cuddle pile of minicons around the sleeping sparkling on his berth.

Soundwave sighs softly and joins the pile.

The Elite Trine are the ones who really give the sparkling a flying lesson.

The three of them have a timer that tells them when to give the other a chance with the sparkling.

Skywarp warps with Buddy in his arms all over the Nemesis which makes them laugh loudly. He was quickly banned from doing this after he got stuck in a wall again and Buddy nearly dropped to the floor if it weren’t for Soundwave.

Starscream tries the entire time to get the sparkling to say ‘Hail Starscream’. Somehow the sparkling says ‘Hail Megatron’ and ‘Hail Optimus’. Where did they learn those two names? He blames Skywarp.

Thundercracker being the tamer one of the group takes the sparkling out of the base and peacefully flies above the clouds and careful not to fly above Autobot territory.

“Seek? Do you mean Seeker?”--Thundercracker

“Seek! Seek!”--Buddy

“So, they decided to draw us Elite Seekers then. Quite fitting as we are the best Seekers in the Decepticon Armada. Well, show us.”--Starscream

“Yeah—Screamer are you crying?”--Thundercracker

Starscream’s optics filling with coolant.

“N-no.”--Starscream

Blitzwing and Astrotrain are set on babysitting duty one day when Soundwave and the minicons couldn’t see to it.

The both of them swear that the sparkling is going to cry when they see them and they are going to laugh.

Two hours into ‘Titanic’ the two Cons are trying to sniffle in the coolant that is dripping down their faceplates and sparkling is laughing at the humans in the funny dresses.

“Umm… why are you guys watching ‘Titanic’?”--Thundercracker

“Shut it!”--Astrotrain

“Oh C’mon! Jack obviously didn’t steal your dumb necklace, Rose! Don’t fall for that lousy trick!”--Blitzwing

“Ha Rosey!”--Buddy

“Exactly Buddy! Rose is funny to have fallen for this lousy trick! But with the power of love and plot, she’ll figure out that out!”--Thundercracker

“…”—Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Thundercracker

“…You want to join?”--Blitzwing

“…yes.”--Thundercracker

Buddy becomes nearly enamored with the sight of Devastator.

The huge bot is just crouching and lightly poking at the sparkling’s belly as it giggles and laughs loudly.

Devestator likes this.

When he goes back into the Constructicons, the adoration doesn’t stop.

Scrapper and Scavenger make little sparkling safe toys for Buddy to play around with. All in green and purple colors. Like the little Construction they are!

Bonecrusher is a little cautious to be near Buddy thinking he would accidentally hurt them. Buddy lies to sit on his lap, where he just becomes as stiff as a statue to not hurt Buddy.

Long Haul looks after Bonecrusher so nothing bad happens to Buddy. Which is mainly fixing Buddy’s posture, so they don’t tumble off of his teammates lap.

Mixmaster is not allowed to be near Buddy without Hook nearby. Hook may not be the strongest member of the Constructicons, but he also knows that there is a higher possibility of Buddy getting a scratch with Mix. As designated medic, he has his bandages ready.

Megatron tries to sneak in extra time from other Cons, but he can’t do it.

Soundwave is serious about having his kid -er- Buddy spending time with everyone equally.

But since Megatron has a lot of things to do he has his scientist build a device similar to what human’s strap on to take their younger infants on their chassis.

So many of his soldiers have to use every amount of will power not to laugh or giggle as Megatron is giving out battle plans as the sparkling strapped to his chassis is chewing on a rust stick.

“We will attack the base here. Then we shall—”--Megatron

Buddy sneezes.

“Aww!”--Decepticons

“As I was saying, we shall then—”--Megatron

Buddy laughing loudly for no reason.

“AWW!”--Decepticons

“…We shall—”--Megatron

Buddy tanks rumbling.

“Buddy: need fueling. Commence operation: Fueling time.”--Soundwave

“…Meeting dismissed...”--Megatron

The day finally comes to return the sparkling back. Megatron is already making plans with Soundwave to get the sparkling next month for another week.

Surprisingly there are some tears shed as Buddy waves goodbye to their new friends as Soundwave takes them back to the surface.

“You take care kid.”--Thundercracker

“Can’t wait for our next movie night!”--Blitzwing

“We’ll watch ‘The Goonies’ next time!”--Astrotrain

“I guess this is good-bye then. Until we meet again.”--Starscream

“I know you’re gonna miss them Screamer. Just admit it.”--Skywarp

“Shut… fine. We will see each other soon, Buddy.”--Starscream

“Good-Bye Buddy.”--Devestator

“We’ll see ya soon you little punk.”--Frenzy

“Don’t talk to strangers that aren’t us!”--Rumble

“Farewell little one. We will see each other shortly.”--Megatron

“Bye-bye!”--Buddy

Meanwhile last week at the base.

Everyone was in panic mode.

Someone had kidnapped Buddy, and they didn’t have any video evidence of who had done it.

Everyone is blaming themselves for not being there for Buddy.

But Optimus is the worst of them all.

He had tried calling the Decepticons multiple times seeing if they had kidnapped Buddy and wanted ransom. They hadn’t answered. They had gone radio silence.

Optimus was going through everyone that would want revenge on him and thinking about where they could have taken Buddy. Ratchet and Ironhide have had to sedate him into getting some sleep.

When the Dinobots found out they nearly went berserk.

They are the first out the door looking for Buddy and the last to come back from searching.

Everyone is on high alert.

Back to the present.

Soundwave was hiding behind some tall trees that were near the base. There was a path that led straight to the base if they just continued the path.

“Buddy. Go down path.”--Soundwave

“Path?”--Buddy

“Commence operation: Go home.”--Soundwave

“Home?”--Buddy

“Yes, go to Prime. Good-bye Buddy.”

Soundwave bending down to hug Buddy one last time before placing them on the ground and walks down the opposite direction.

Soundwave looked from his hiding place until he was sure that Buddy was in the clear before heading back to the Nemesis.

Buddy waited a bit then started down the familiar path back home. It was the same nature path Optimus and Grimlock sometimes used when they needed to go for a walk and to get back to the base.

They speed up their little walk as more things start getting familiar to their optics. Especially the greenery around the large boulder.

They spot a familiar red and blue figure sitting on their special boulder and squeal in delight.

“Oppy! Oppy!”--Buddy

“Buddy!? Buddy!”--Optimus

“Oppy!”--Buddy

“Buddy!”--Optimus

Optimus’s knees give out as he crashes to the ground with Buddy in his arms. He is letting a sob of relief out feeling Buddy’s little servos on his facemask.

“Oppy? Oppy no cry. Happy! No sad!”--Buddy

“I am not sad Buddy…I am happy. So happy…”--Optimus

Okay, so, Optimus (in the first episode of TFA) crash lands Teletran-1 in the lake to avoid a populated area (remember, he doesn’t even know what humans look like at the time, even later mistaking the robots as sentient).

Meanwhile, as soon as Starscream arrives on Earth, he immediately starts shooting at human-piloted jets.

I just love that stark difference.

Optimus Prime doesn't trust GHOST

Let's list subversive ways Optimus works around GHOST and keeps secrets from them!

Keeping Autobots secret from them, like Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and Grimlock

Taking Dot through the Decepticon detainment cells when he wasn't supposed to

Keeping the Terrans secret

Not allowing them access to Teletran-1 (Bumblebee is able to input reports to Teletran-1, implying GHOST can't get to it, I also believe this implies more undercover Autobots. Jazz, Blaster, Mirage, and Hound are all good options to be stationed with it)

Allowing Megatron to set the cassettebots free

Having Grimlock investigate the Bot Brawls

Having Bumblebee investigate what's going on with Grimlock

And more that are probably slipping my mind right now.

A less secretive way he shows he doesn't trust GHOST he says straight up that the organization has "growing" to do and that, while he doesn't like what's going on, he doesn't currently see a better option for cohabiting Earth with humanity.

Here is a depiction of my "Decepticon Computer Soundwave" concept from yesterday.

Going with a mix of marvel and G1 colors to capture a unique but recognizable Soundwave AND g1 computer console was a ton of fun, and I think this really puts my idea for a Decepticon gamer PC Soundwave ala Teletran 1's figure in perspective. He would be HUGE at a default scale, but we've always been a bit loose with transformation scale, haven't we?

USB-like drives would plug in under his chin/bottom of the screen, and those would be the cassette cons we're used to.

What if when the TFA Bot who was raised on Quirked Earth was given a chance to look at their pod and found a holo-vid download into it. Unsure how to play it, they ask Optimus and his team for help.

Once plugged into Teletran-1 what they found was a video recording featuring two Cybertronians and in the background the sounds of destruction on a ship, they stated they were members of a group of explorers who were currently under attack by a group of hostiles.

They had already sent a distress signal to Cybertrons Elite Guard but had doubts they would get help in time, so they wanted to leave this final message about and for...their sparkling.

They stated that they had a sparkling on board and, due to the risk, decided to make the hard decision to send them in an escape pod to the closest planet possible with the hope that the distress beacon would signal to Cybertron to retrieve their precious sparkling.

All the bots in the room spend the last few minutes listening as the parents on the video made their last heart-felt goodbyes, telling their creation to be brave, have faith, and know that they loved them with all their sparks...

It's like that scene from the start of Megamind, except the bot actually learns what their parents said.

Also, this is heartbreaking??? They sent a distress signal and no one came for them or their sparkling. Did the Elite Guard go looking for them? Did they even try? Or did the autobots just go "eh, sucks to be them" and ignored the distress signal? Because I can imagine that this revelation would turn the bot into a full on decepticon. You don't try looking for an infant, leaving it to die? FUCK YOU, I WILL JOIN THE ENEMY AND BURN YOU TO THE GROUND.

A TFA Ratchet x Mech!Reader

Chapter 7: An Unexpected Meeting

"Uh, I don't think that's such a good idea, boss bot."

"Prime! No!"

CRASH!

When these sounds hit my audials, I was immediately yanked out of stasis, and I lept to my pedes with blades drawn and ready to fight whomever had dared to startle me.

My optics were immediately met by five Autobots, a red and blue hauler type, a yellow and black speedster, an army green hulk of a mech, a gold and black cyberninja, and finally a very familiar red and white mech that didn't register in my memory banks but did in my spark.

"Where am I? Who are you?" I barked as I switched between the stunned Autobots.

"Y/D?" The red and white mech whispered in surprise and awe. I focused on him and tried my best to hide the fact my systems were blaring with alerts of all sorts. "Hey hey, it's okay. It's me. Ratchet."

The name immediately clicked in my mind, and recognition crossed my face.

"R.... Ratchet?" I questioned. "Wh... what are you doing here?" I then looked about and noticed I was no longer on Cybertron but out in some remote asteroid field and were dangerously exposed. "We need to take cover! Fast! Before the Decepticons find us!"

"Whoa whoa easy Y/D." Ratchet said.

"I'm not taking chances! Not while Megatron is after me!"

"Megatron?" The red and blue mech questioned. "But... the war's been over for centuries. Why would he be hunting you?"

"It.... Is it over?" I asked.

"Yeah, kid. It's over." Ratchet reassured me. "Autobots won thanks to you." He then approached me and gently placed a servo on one of my blades, lowering it down. "You don't need those right now." I retracted my blades and felt my knees buckle under me as I fell to a kneel before Ratchet. Thankfully, the medic caught my upper half and gently held me to his chassis.

"It's over." I quietly wept with relief. "It... it's really over." I felt dizziness as my systems crashed, the rest of my frame crumbling into a pile on the ground.

"Bulkhead, carry him, and let's get out of here." Ratchet said.

"But what about that?" The yellow and black mech asked as he pointed to the Allspark container.

"Leave it. Or better still throw it back through the Space Bridge." Ratchet said firmly. "This thing isn't meant to be found, nor was Y/D, but i'd be a fool to leave him out here in his current condition."

"What's got you so spooked all of a sudden, Ratchet?" The red and blue mech asked. As if to confirm the medic's fears, the red and blue mech received a message from his ship's computer.

"Teletran-1 to Optimus Prime. Teletran- to Optimus Prime." It said. "Unidentified space craft entering this sector. Energy signature consistent with Decepticon warship."

"Decepticon? That must be a mistake. The Decepticons were destroyed centuries ago." The red and blue mech said.

"Well, aside from wings here." The yellow mech added.

"Defeated, not destroyed. And we're not waiting around for them to find it or Y/D." Ratchet said as he shifted forms. "What are you bots waiting for? An invitation? Load it up, pronto!"

"Wait, Ratchet." The red and blue mech questioned as the green mech picked up the allspark and loaded it into the medic. "Why the sudden urgency? What is this thing? And who's Y/D?"

"There's no time. Let's move!" Ratchet ordered.

The group with the help of the green mech managed to haul aft towards the ship that they beloved to, my now slowly rebooting frame resting on a medical berth while the others took the Allspark out of Ratchet and placed it onto the metal flooring.

"You're the history buff, Prime." Ratchet said to the red and blue mech. "Ever hear of the Allspark?"

"Yeah, it's the most powerful energy source in the universe." The Prime said. "It gave the spark of life to all Cybertronians."

"Everybot knows that story." The green mech said.

"Heres another one. The only way we were able to win the GreatWarr all those centuries ago was by keeping the Allspark out of thedeceptionn's hands. Or rather, Y/D did." Ratchet turned to look at me with a saddening expression on his face. "He stole it from Crystal City to keep it safe, even going so far as to fling himself into a space bridge before it exploded just to keep it out of Megatron's grip."

"The records say that the Autobots sent it away, though." The Prime said. "Not the Decepticons."

"It's written that way to prevent another uprising among Decepticons." Ratchet said. "By scrubbing Y/D from history, the Autobots are able to maintain control over Cybertron."

"How do you know this?" The cyberninja asked.

"I was there when it happened." Ratchet said grimly.

"Nnnngh..." I groaned quietly as I regained consciousness, Ratchet rushing over to me with a worried expression.

'They're coming.' I hear the Allspark whisper.

"We... we need to move." I groaned as I tried to push myself back up, my joints shaking and trembling from the effort. "The Decepticons... they're coming for it."

-with the Decepticons-

"Lord Megatron. I'm picking up 2 rather unique energy signatures." Blackarachnia said. "One is fairly strong, while the other is... known to us."

"And what would that signature be, Blackarachnia?" Megatron asked coldly.

"Someone who owes the Decepticons a lot more than loyalty." She said with a smirk. "Carnifex is with the strong signature."

Megatron visibly stiffened and gripped on the arm of his throne so tightly the metal bent and warped underneath.

"What did you say?" He asked coldly.

"That's the traitorous bot who got away, is it not?"

"Indeed it is." Megatron growled. "Follow that signal at once! Now!"

"Kid, you need to calm down." Ratchet said as I began to panic and tried to fight against him.

"No! You don't understand! We need to move! Now!" I begged.

"And we will Y/D." The Prime said. "Ratchet, try and calm him down, the rest of you with me." The other Autobots nodded and followed the Prime to the command bridge, the ships' engines roaring to life as it pulled away from the asteroid field.

"Y/D, listen to me." Ratchet said as he framed the sides of my face between his servos. "Trust me when I say we will get the Allspark to safety. Optimus is a good captain, and the others are good bots too."

"Their maintenence bots, Ratchet!" I argued. "They don't know how to fight!"

"Prime does, and so does Prowl our tag along cyberninja. They are rookies, sure, but they can help fight if need be. Even Bulkhead and Bumblebee have a bit of a fight in them."

"I can't let them get killed." I said with a shake and static in my voice.

"They won't. I promise."

"Ratchet?"

"Yeah, Y/D?"

"I... I'm scared."

Iridescent: Chapter 13

Summary: When Jazz is promoted to Head of Special Operations, the last thing he expected was to have to work with a face from his past.

A/N: Fair warning that the violence is going to be a bit more graphic from this point onwards sorry! Xxxxxxx

Jazz opened up the spec op private comms

"Hound after you've dropped off Mirage, I need you to track Skywarp!" Jazz ordered, having to shout over the sound of Prowl chewing out the twins nearby.

After receiving an affirmative, Jazz marched back over the two remaining commanders, passing by the twins who looks appropriately guilty for once.

"We should retreat! Before more of our people are injured." Optimus suggested, firing out from behind where they had managed to build a makeshift barrier out of the rusted remains of whatever structure had once been built here.

"Why?" Jazz asked, casually throwing a shuriken over the barrier, that judging by the following scream, confirmed that it had found its target, as he ducked down besides his friend. "So that they can eventually break the doors down or simply drop a big ass bomb and kill us all inside instead of out here?"

"I agree with Jazz." Prowl declared.

Even after everything that had happened today, Prowl openly agreeing with him, still managed to surprise Jazz.

"We have to hold them out here. If the other seekers invade the Ark then we will loose the Autobot headquarters and most likely the war." Prowl finished.

Optimus paused, probably consulting with the Matrix, however that worked, as he considered their plan. After a moment he nodded.

"Very well, here is where we shall stand our ground." Optimus said, his voice that of a Prime instead of the awkward data clerk Jazz used to know.

Of course as soon as that plan was decided, Blaster chose that moment to interrupt the three of them with an incoming comm. Except it wasn't the communication expect on the other end of the line.

"This is MacCadam's base calling the Ark, can you hear me?" Elita-One's voice echoed in their ears.

"Ariel." Optimus breathed. Jazz hadn't heard their leader sound so relieved since becoming a Prime. It was shortlived however as worry quickly returned. "Has Bumblebee-"

"Yes he reached us safe and well." Elita was quick to reassure them and despite the distance, Jazz could hear the smile in her voice. "I sent him back with the information I am about to tell you. Our communications had been sabotaged. We are able to contact Teletran-1 but within the last hour we've found our Head of Communications grey in her room with a blaster wound through her mouth."

"Do you think the guilt got to her?" Jazz wondered aloud. It would certainly explain things. Perhaps too cleanly.

"It would appear so. When we lost communication Chromia became adamant that you're base must also have been sabotaged so she straight left for the Ark. I sent Silverstreak to keep an eye on her. Not long after they left, we were attacked by Soundwave."

"If Soundwave's there and Starscream's here then where is Megatron?" Optimus asked.

Jazz caught Prowl's optics. By the way they flashed, he knew that they bad both come to the same conclusion.

"He is planning an attack on our two weapons specialists who are currently out of range, outnumbered and unaware that they're headed straight for a trap." Prowl stated.

Shit

"Our long range individual comms are still dismantled." Elita-One reminded them. "We can only contact Teletra-"

"AHHHHHHH!"

She was interrupted by Blaster's screams before the call cut off entirely. Which could only mean one thing. That Skywarp had infiltrated their communication room.

Jazz didn't need to say out loud what they all already knew. That Ironhide, Chromia and the rest of their team's lives now relied on them kicking Skywarp's ass and fixing whatever mess she had made to their long range comms.

Which was going to be a problem considering the fact that the communications room had access to the camera outside the hanger doors so that they could see anyone heading inside.

Thankfully, Jazz was a spy for a reason.

"I know a secret way inside." Jazz told them. "But as amazing as I am, it would be a lot easier to take her down if I had some help."

"Prowl, accompany Jazz." Optimus ordered. "I will ensure that we hold the Seekers back."

Prowl didn't look particularly pleased at the idea of teaming up. Prowl wouldn't have been Jazz first choice either but with his best agent injured and the other occupied, he didn't have much of a choice left. Regardless Prowl wasn't going to argue with their Prime, so after a few pointed words to the twins reminding them to actually follow orders, he turned to Jazz.

"Lead the way."

Prowl kept his blaster poised as he reluctantly followed Jazz around the outwards of the Ark, keeping watch for any Seekers who might have noticed them under Optimus cover fire.

Prowl was reluctant to leave the front where he believed that his tactical skills would be most valuable. He could have said these concerns aloud. Optimus had always welcomed his troupes to voice their objections which was something that Prowl's previous authority figures during his time as an enforcer had never approved of. But ultimately, Optimus was their Prime who's decision had failed to steer them wrong yet, so Prowl trusted his judgement.

He soon realised that Jazz was leading them towards the end of the Ark's old thrusters. The ship was once capable of interstellar flight but had not been used for such purposes since the golden age of Nova Prime. Now the thrusters were rusted and sealed up due to their misuse.

At least that was what Prowl had been told. However Jazz was currently entering through the centre of the left thrusters' exit port where he was able to unscrew a loose panel, that lead into a gap between the main energon line and the wall.

"This is where Hound secretly feeds his rations to the local turbo-foxes and where I'm pretty sure Bumblebee has been sneaking out at night." Jazz explained before he crawled inside. Prowl made a mental note to inform Red Alert of the security breach when this whole ordeal was over, before following him inside.

It was a tight fit for Jazz and an even tighter one for Prowl. Even with his doorwings pressed flat against his back, it still hurt to drag their edges against the steal walls and without even enough room to turn his head, Prowl was left with no choice but to stare directly at the curves of Jazz's ass as they scraped along the gap. Thankfully, it wasn't long before Jazz shoved open a grate opened into a storage closet.

Although, Prowl almost immediately missed the gap, as here he was pressed chassis to chassis, with his only option to look directly into Jazz's face.

Thankfully the spy, made no comment on their positions when he spoke.

"I ain't getting a response from Hound but Bluestreak said that the last thing he told her was that he heading towards Communications."

Prowl let out a vent that he hadn't realised he'd been holding when he learnt that Bluestreak was alright. He knew that the young sniper was more than capable of protecting herself but as the older sibling he couldn't help worrying whenever she was out of the realm of his protection.

Prowl watched as Jazz slowly opened the storage door to the corridor, sliding his blade between the small slit as he glanced around.

After a moment he gave a thumbs up of an all clear and strolled out of the cupboard. Prowl wasted no time in doing the same. Once outside, they took up the same unspoken positions that they head before, with Jazz leading the way, blade in hand, whilst Prowl protected the rear, blaster ready. Although now that he knew what Jazz's rear looked like, he found it hard to concentrate on protecting it.

Fortunately, they didn't encounter any resistance along the corridors since most able bodied mechs were outside battling against the seekers.

Unfortunately they couldn't hear any signs of a scuffle or regain access to their long range comms which was not a good sign.

Once they made it to Communications, cautiously, Prowl poked his head around the door.

Skywarp was wrecking havoc on Teletran-1, ripping out wires and smashing screens like a rabid animal. At the very least it didn't appear like she knew exactly what damage she was doing but that didn't necessarily mean that it would be any easier to fix.

At her feet lay Hound, Blaster and Red Alert. A short range blaster shot had taken out half of Hound's torso. Miraculously, it hadn't appeared to have hit any vital organs, but by Prowl's calculations, that would matter little as he would soon to bleed out his remaining reserves of energon. Blaster had a large dent on the side of his helm but otherwise appeared unharmed. Red Alert was the only one conscious, however they were powerless to help as Skywarp had hogtied them up in a tangle of cords. Prowl knew that the stress of witnessing Skywarp wreck all of their carefully crafted systems was causing more pain than any injury could have ever done.

"You gotta plan commander?" Jazz whispered.

Before Prowl's battle computer had any time to respond, he heard the sound of footsteps behind them.

Out of the corner of his optic, Prowl caught Jazz wield his knife in the same moment that he raised his blaster.

Thankfully, it wasn't sneak a Deception attack. Instead it was Mirage, leaning heavily against the wall, as he dragged himself long the corridor.

"I... I am unable to reach Hound on internal comms. His... his last message was that he was head to-towards Communications." Mirage stammered, trying to be quiet but Prowl winced as their gasping breathes echoed across the silent corridor. Miraculously, Skywarp must not have heard it over the sound of her own destruction.

"Do not engage except for long range weapons." Prowl ordered, calculating that their chances of success would drastically decrease if Mirage were to witness Hound in his current state. And he hadn't even taken into account yet that whilst the cut across the spy's chest plate had been welded shut, Prowl knew that anything even remotely strenuous easily rip it open again.

Before Mirage could protest Jazz interrupted.

"Your invisibility ain't going to do shit if you start leaking very visible energon everywhere so do as he says." Jazz told him.

Prowl was unbothered as Mirage glared in his direction before biting his tongue and remaining at the end of the corridor. It made sense that the spy would be more likely to listen to a friend then a commander and Prowl did not care who the orders came from as long as Mirage followed them.

"Hey," Jazz hissed to get his attention. "If that big brain if yours hadn't come up with a plan yet, then I've got one." Prowl was not put at ease by the edge of Jazz's grin. "Knight."

It took a moment for Prowl to comprehend what it even was that Jazz was suggesting. It took a further moment for him to run it through his battle computer. After another he nodded.

Prowl lay flat against the corridor floor as Jazz peaked around the edge of the doorway, the side of his visor titled just so that it reflected the light off one of the remaining monitors, catching Skywarp's eye.

In an instant she had materialised in front of their Head of Special Operations. Jazz feigned surprise as Prowl crawled past the now tussling pair into the communications room.

Prowl ignored the flash of guilt as he climbed over Hound's body even though logically he knew that only Ratchet had the power to help him now. Besides, the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few. And Prowl's current goal was saving two of their commanders plus their squads.

Prowl crouched down besides Red Alert, removing the plug gagged into their mouth and untying them as quickly as he could. This close, he could feel the heat radiating from their sensory horns that threatened an impending systems crash.

"Focus on what you can control." Prowl ordered once he had freed them of their restraints. "Can you recommend the wire to establish long range comms?"

Red Alert's eyes were wide and Prowl wasn't entirely convinced that they weren't going to crash. But if anyone was used to handling stress under pressure it was the Ark's security director.

With a jerked nod, Red Alert forced themselves towards Teletran-1.

With the first step of their plan in action, Prowl turned his focus back onto the fight behind him, to find that Skywarp had a writhing Jazz pinned under her armour. Wrestled that closely intertwined, Mirage would be unable to take a clear shot even if his condition hadn't drastically hampered his ability to aim.

Getting to his feet, Prowl grabbed Skywarp from behind, the teleporter too startled to make a jump to avoid being thrown from her victim. She produced a blaster, from where, Prowl did not have the time to figure out. But before she could fire it, he caught her wrist, yanking it upwards so the shot fired into the ceiling instead of his helm. He then turned so his back faced her front, snapping her wrist in the process and shot her with his own blaster. She dodged at the last second so he missed her spark but it still managed to blast a hole in her shoulder. Skywarp keeled over, using the remains of her hand to plug the gaping wound in her shoulder.

Whilst she was down, Prowl turned his attention to Jazz who was staring up at him, that infuriating smile for once wiped clean from his face.

Prowl allowed himself a small sense of satisfaction. He spent so much time behind the scenes of battles that their troupes had forgotten the fighting skills that had earned him the position in the first place.

As he helped Jazz to his feet, Prowl caught a glimpse of Mirage where he was hidden behind the corner of the corridor. Prowl would have to see Ratchet to get his optics checked as he thought that he saw a flash of respect in the spy’s eyes.

"You know I was just pretending to be loosing as a distraction right?" Jazz said as he fought to catch his breath, a cheeky smile now back on his face.

Prowl did have time to dignify that with a response as in an instant Prowl found himself upside down, pedes brushing the Ark ceiling. Skywarp cackled, spitting energon at his face, then disappeared. He did not have time to calculate a plan before the floor suddenly came crashing towards him. A fall from this height might not kill him but it would certainly do processor damage that would negatively impact the outcome of the war.

Suddenly, someone crashed into him, rolling them both in mid-air. The next thing Prowl registered, he was looking up at Jazz, illuminated by the ceiling lights and cradling his helm from where it was currently lying in the spy's lap.

"Smooth moves Commander." Jazz said, his smile saying that words could not. That now they were even.

The moment when ruined when Skywarp, screeching like a rabbit cyberwolf tried to pounce on them.

Thankfully, Mirage was able to shoot her in her already injured shoulder, blasting her arm off in a mess of tangled wires.

"Sorry." Jazz grinned.

Before Prowl could ask about what, Jazz dropped him, leaving Prowl sprawled on the floor.

Prowl pushed himself back to his feet so that he could properly yell at him. He cut himself off at the sight of Jazz biting down on Skywarp's uninjured shoulder. Prowl could only watch in disbelief as Skywarp teleported randomly along the length of the corridor, thrashing around and crashing into walls. But Jazz must have a vampiric set of denta as nothing she did could shake him off.

From this angle, Jazz couldn't reach her spark, so Prowl watched as he stabbed his blade into Skywarp's waist instead.

She reappeared, screaming on the Communications floor.

Prowl wasted no time, grabbing a broken metal pole. Again, unable to reach her spark with Jazz still sprawled on her back, he instead skewered it through her leg. Then stamping on the end, he bent the mental until he had hooked Skywarp's leg into the floor.

Prowl kept his blaster trained on her helm as Jazz finally clambered off her.

"Girl, when was the last time you had a shower?" Jazz asked, wiping his mouth with a grimace.

Prowl knew that Skywarp's injuries would not trap her forever. He had yet to find a prison that could. But for now, her teleportation abilities weren't going to be an advantage in battle when she was in too much pain to fight.

Prowl kept guard over Skywarp as Red Alert, who was muttering expletives under their breathe, re-connected the mess of shredded wires. Mirage had managed to hobble to the room by this point. He dropped to Hound's side, grabbing at the debris surrounding them to try to fill in the injury whilst Jazz hailed Ratchet.

On the one working monitor, Prowl watched as on the screen a single shot severed through both of Starscream's thrusters. He couldn't stop the swell of pride at the knowledge that Bluestreak was the only one talented enough to make that shot.

However, Prowl was going to have to update his folder on Skywarp's abilities to teleport within her line of sight as in the next second, she appeared on the monitor screen, a chunk of her leg missing from where it was still nailed into the communications floor. Prowl watched as outside the Ark, she helping her Trine commander to escape as the seekers called for a retreat.

"I've fixed Teletran-1!" Red Alert cried.

It was unfortunate that the Skywarp had escaped. But their primary goal had been to contact Ironhide by re-establishing long range comms so overall Prowl considered the mission a success.

Prowl marched over to the console, wasting no time in connecting the long range call.

"Ironhide, this is Teletran-1. Do you copy?"

"Huh what?" Ironhide answered, sounding startled by the long range comm. Prowl ignored the incorrectly worded response and continued.

"We believe that you are heading into a trap. Megatron is-"

"Yeah yeah we know." Ironhide interrupted, the usually gruff soldier still sounding frazzled. "Bumblebee must've figured out what he was planning because he found where Megatron was waiting and provoked him into revealing his location and... oh Primus. We... when we saw what was happening we tried to stop him. We tried to fight back but.. but..."

"What happened?" Prowl demanded.

Ironhide took a shuddering breath.

"It's Megatron. He kidnapped Bumblebee."

Bot Buddy with an alt mode of a Chihuahua with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Thrash

Buddy knew their alt mode wasn’t the most common.

They meant to scan an electric scooter, but they accidentally scanned the small dog that walked in front of it.

Sure, it took some getting used but Buddy made it work. Buddy mainly hung out in the GHOST bases since they could exactly go out on patrol in more populated places.

Being the teams medic and having fiery outbursts from time to time is quite a combination to have.

Optimus Prime

Buddy was one of Prime’s longest team members.

They greatly supported him in building new relations with the humans once Megatron surrendered.

As acting medic for now (where is Ratchet) Buddy had their servos occupied with Prime and the rest of the Cybertronains living on Earth.

Buddy wielding Optimus new patch job.

“I swear Prime… You must be more careful! What were you thinking when you decided to go up against Soundwave and the mini’s, at once!”--Buddy

“All is fine—”--Optimus

“Oh no, you don’t get to give me that speech again! What do you think Ratchet would do if he heard about this?”--Buddy

“… The wrenches?”--Optimus

“The wrenches. Now hold still.”--Buddy

When Optimus brings Buddy out for patrol, Buddy is in his trailer waiting till it’s okay to come out.

Being a smaller bot, Buddy helps the Prime when things are a bit too small for him to grasp.

If Buddy’s temper gets a bit out of hand, the Prime will simply pick them up and tuck them in his arms.

“Prime! Let me go!”--Buddy

“Not now.”--Optimus

“Let me go!”--Buddy

“No.”--Optimus

“Prime!”--Buddy

“Would you prefer to have Megatron handle you?”--Optimus

“…Fine.”--Buddy

“I feel like I should feel offended.”—Megatron

He just hopes now that Buddy doesn’t find out about Bumblebee or the Terrans yet. They have a reputation of coming off as overprotective, especially of younger bots.

“What’s a Terran?”--Buddy

Buddy looks and finds out about the Terrans, the Maltos home, and Bumblebee.

“What! When did he come out of hiding! When did we get sparklings!”--Buddy

Buddy ran out the base to go see the sparklings themselves.

Meanwhile with Optimus…

“Something just happened.”--Optimus

“What do you mean Prime.”--Megatron

“I feel as if I made a mistake. A terrible mistake…”--Optimus

Older sibling and little sibling relationship.

Guess who the oldest.

Buddy was one of the last bots he saw before he went into hiding.

Due to strict communication lines, Buddy and Bee couldn’t talk the entire time.

When Buddy caught wind that Bumblebee was in the area, teaching these ‘Terrans’ and had the audacity to not say hello?

Buddy was already out the door.

“Megatron?”--Optimus

“Prime?”--Megatron

“Have you seen Buddy? They are usually in the console room, but they aren’t there.”--Optimus

“Strange. Lets check the CCT footage.”--Megatron

Transforming noises intensifies.

Bee was outside with Thrash and Mo that morning. He wanted to do a one-on-one training lesson with them seeing as they were having trouble keeping up with the others.

Meanwhile in the Maltos house.

“Today we are going to learn about how to dodge.”--Bumblebee

“Dog!”--Thrash

“Umm. I think the word your looking for is ‘dodge’.--Mo

“No ‘dog’!”--Thrash

Buddy jumping on Bumblebee’s helm making him yelp and fall down.

“HOW DARE YOU! YOU HAD THE AUDACITY TO COME OUT OF HIDING AND NOT TELL ME!”--Buddy

“Is that a chihuahua?”--Mo

“Robo chihuahua!”--Thrash

Buddy looks at Terrans and kids then smacks Bee in the horns.

“AND YOU DIDN’T TELL THAT THERE ARE SPARKLINGS HERE!? YOU ARE SO LUCKY I FOUND OUT AND NOT RATCHET!”--Buddy

Through the yelling and all Bumblebee managed to pry Buddy off his face plate to give them a proper hug.

Buddy, while they were still miffed about the whole situation, couldn’t deny their friend a hug.

It truly had been such a long time without communication and they both just missed each other.

“Aww! Bumblebee has a dog!”--Mo

“Excuse me?”--Buddy

“Thrash, Mo this is Buddy. No they are not my pet, they are a good friend of mine.”--Bumblebee

“A friend that you forgot to message when you’d be back.”--Buddy

“Listen I was busy!”--Bumblebee

“You didn’t tell me about the sparklings! Put me down I want to take a look!”--Buddy

“No.”--Bumblebee

“Don’t pull a Prime on me Bumblebee!”--Buddy

Thrash

Thrash was so excited to see Buddy.

Buddy is going into nurse mode trying to check if Thrash and Mo are okay.

Some things are said that make Buddy consider contacting Ratchet for help.

“All right everything seems goo—By the heights of Vos!”--Buddy

“What!?”--Bumblebee

“Where’s your energon levels? How are you even standing?!”--Buddy

“Buddy! There don’t run on energon!”--Bumblebee

“…What…”--Buddy

“Yeah, we drink cave water.”--Thrash

“… cave water”--Buddy

“Its kind of a long story.”--Mo

“And I will hear about this in a bit. Now, Thrash make sure you stretch those joints a bit more often. Mo—”--Buddy

“You scanned Mo?”--Thrash

“You scanned me?”--Mo

“Yes, we’ve been partnering up with humans for a while now, thought it would be beneficial to study a bit about them. Anyways, Mo you might want to start eating more greens.”--Buddy

“Blegh.”--Mo

“Hahaha! Guess your going to have to eat Robbie’s greens to make up for it.”--Thrash

“Robbie?”--Buddy

Bumblebee mouthing ‘No’ to Thrash.

“Yeah! He’s my brother! He is with our other sibling in the dug out right now.”--Mo

��More humans?”--Buddy

“Yes—”--Bumblebee

“Mom, Dad and Robbie are humans. Twitch, Hashtag, Jawbreaker, and Nightshade are Terrans like me!”--Thrash

“…”--Buddy

“Umm, Buddy?”--Thrash

Buddy faints.

After nearly having a spark attack, Buddy decides to talk to them for a bit after Bumblebee suddenly had to step aside for a second to pick up his comms.

Talking to the two was a breath of fresh air for Buddy. Instead of focusing on logistical things and worrying about supplies, Buddy just got to answer simpler questions with the kids.

Buddy has already made a silent vow to protect these two and the other kids they have yet to meet.

rereading the allspark almanacs and compiling random facts and stuff i noticed (from the first one ill do the second one in another post) -blackarachnia named swoop -ratchet used to have a teacher girlfriend -sentinel does genuinely like jazz he just thinks hes weird -ironhide is from a rural area -its probably just a throwaway thing but shockwave might have used wasp’s hatred of bumblebee to turn him decepticon -omega supreme uses teletran-1 -decepticon sparks were going to be shown as red -lugnut was a gladiator of some kind on kaon -lugnut does in fact have five eyes, not one -constructicon butt cracks -megatron trusts shockwave like, A lot. -shockwave’s cannon can fire blasts from “anywhere on the electromagnetic spectrum” which i guess means he can blast gamma radiation at someone if he wanted to -starscream narrates his own section which is funny. everyone hates him that bad. -the clones do have the powers their namesakes had (teleporting, sonic booms etc) -they specifically call sari adopted -megatron really fucking hates sumdac but does think he’s intelligent -the phone/reciever fanzone uses looks like it has a rotary dial on it -swindle thinks the angry archer is cool -this height chart

-blurr thinks bumblebee has “his spark in the right place” so he likes him to an extent -megatron and the autobots crashed to earth on july fifteenth specifically -optimus believes the allspark lead them to earth implying at least some cybertronians believe the allspark to be sentient in some way. -it also seems that it was the blasts of energy from the allspark that killed optimus, not the fall after -the key also seems to have only been able to revive him by channeling the allspark itself nearby, so in season 2 when it had blown up sari probably couldn’t have used her key to revive anyone if they died -blackarachnia thinks lockdown is compensating for something -ratchet says damn

-optimus is ridiculously strong? his whole stats are bonkers . nothing is below 8

-its in the show too i just need to remind everyone nanosec’s real name is Nino Sexton -Powell owns the newspaper (Detroit Powell Press) -megatron was initially under the impression optimus’s team is a group of soldiers but he got intel from shockwave and learned they are a repair crew. he didnt seem to give a shit and spent most of that page talking about how he made starscream everyone else’s problem -sentinel says damn

-starscream calls lockdown an “abomination“ which is big talk from a guy who is basically a robot revenant -shockwaves ability to shapeshift is referred to as “size altering” a couple times which seems weird, because the longarm disguise is definitely more than just getting shorter -i just want to say megatron writes like a pretentious asshole. he sounds like fucking count dooku which. like. yeah corey burton. christopher lee wouldntve made a bad megatron i guess -its kind of common knowledge optimus was named by kup for his “optimism” and likee funny enough he isnt very optimistic in the show a lot of the time but a lot of his reports in the almanac do actually seem optimistic, he is REALLY sure blackarachnia can be an autobot again, and hoped omega supreme was still online -cybertronian forms aren’t as versatile as earth modes, which is why ultra magnus doesn’t switch back -megatrons cybertron form face is dark where his earth mode is pale/white and it kind of looks like a skull that way. some elements of the earth mode look like parts you could only see on the damaged cybertron form. between that and the whole grey colors megatron might be goth -”ultra-energon” is the equivalent of candy -bumblebee hates gum -according to ratchet cybertronians don’t really like nanobots/nanites and are cautious about using them -the decepticons and their predecessors are/were MILITARY they were not laborers -prowl is the one who gives the backstory and refers to the autobot ancestors as “automatons” and the decepticon ancestors as “robots” and talks like theyre two separate races:

-sentinel thinks detroit is the name of the planet -cybertronians can blush red

-optimus has the biggest bedroom which makes sense because he keeps all of his trailer attachments there

-despite being upset about the spare parts shop, ratchet apparently messes with old cars. might be to be more familiar with the different internals on their earth modes? -optimus keeps one of starscreams wings like, a trophy?

-prowl also has a little desk

-ratchet has a picture of arcee and also , someones hand ?

-the autobots also keep stealing traffic lights apparently because they have several around the base

-blackarachnia proposed an alliance with starscream and he shot her into space and then immediately crashed the nemesis -dinobot island is actually “north sister island” which is not a real island but is probably based on the various sister islands which do exist irl but are not anywhere near detroit. -the ship crashed on archa seven is called the twilight -drill sargeants are always autobot minors but it doesnt say all minors have to be drill sargeants so, up in the air if optimus ever had a cadet squad -the boot camp is separate from the autobot academy. bulkhead and bumblebee never got to the academy. i think the best way to compare is the boot camp is like high school and the academy is like college, optional but highly encouraged -DJW’s approval stamp is really cute

-the precursor concept to animated, transformers hero, had a very sweet looking optimus

Hmm tell me if u don't wanna get more asks about those two but dream from last night about opbee is hunting me. I honestly might make it into an au of sorts or small drabble???

I dunno but:

What if Bee and Optimus were paired for a reckon or some sort of spying mission were lying low is required and through that they slowly bond and fall in love.

I feel like the main scene of the dream would be the two discussing their feelings in Optimus office and being very close to each other, just very tender moment.

If I had to organise my thoughts it would be like randomly an idea floats around the ark about doing random pair work, maybe it stem from twins doing a prank too many in the med bay or to prowl or someone said something about Jazz special ops trainings, I dunno the main thing that stemmed from the even is that everyone in the ark gets randomly paired with different bot.

Essentially someone from science Division may end up doing special ops or surveillance mission or Prowl might have to do jet jitsu with twins.

Somehow, someway Bee and Optimus got paired together- Teletran-1 is strangely silent about it -which led to few grumbles here and there but those bits were quickly distracted when they got paired with people they hated or disliked. Bee is keeping it together but like barely BC damnit that's his crush and he gonna make fool of himself and just spirals down from there.

Whilst Optimus looks calms on the outside he is panicking like bumblebee, maybe worrying a bit more about this whole idea seeing the chaos but that ship had sailed. Anyway, whilst everyone gets chaotic first hour, bee and Optimus get to just know each other beyond leader and soldier.

Like maybe Optimus had paperwork or bumblebee had to do Inventory or something to that extend but just- They talk they learn they feel.Maybe there is opportunity for field mission for bumblebee and it's quite low key one so both Optimus and Bee get to go on it. Maybe it's spying on some decepticon mining facility or something but it goes well.

Untill it isn't well and the two have to hide.

Optimus probably reacted instinctively or maybe he was a lookout whilst Bee did most of the spying but the second he spots the approaching danger he grabs Bee and hides them in the shadows of the smaller caverns in the cave which forces them to be flush against each other.

Bee is confused at first when he was grabbed but second he spots the danger too he quietens down and listens out for it too, only realising how close he and Prime are when he tries to shift making Bee blush like crazy and it takes all of his will power to not make startled sound or for his fans to kick in.Optimus doesn't realise what happen untill much later when he has time to digest the day events in his quarters.

If he avoids Bee optics next day that's no one business but his.

Anyway just the two slowly bonding and having those lightbulb moments of "oh O H " untill the last day of the whole partnered up thing, in Optimus office as the two do their work, feeling so domestic so comfortable for maybe first time in eons of the war Optimus takes that final gamble. Slowly he putting the paperwork away, much to Bee confusion as his own files are taken and put away, Optimus looks at Bumblebee and lowers his battle mask- noting the way Bee optics widen and how mesmerized bee looks -and just speaks.

It's not like his usual usual speeches, crafted to the perfection and carrying words of encouragement for the wary troops, no. Optimus stumbles and backtracks and keeps it as honest as he can as he bares his feelings, ever the soldier ever the prime, despite wanting to look away, he can't as he watches for bee reaction.

Bee takes it in, the confessions, the actions, the words. Bee takes in Prime and realises that Optimus means it. He isn't taking pity he isn't joking he means it. And just as Optimus starts to doubt, Bee speaks. Offering his side, his confessions his actions as he lets the always cherry persona mask fall. Showing his weariness and the ugly he keeps away for benefits of others.Slowly but surely they talk they confess and discuss and they come closer and closer for their first kiss.

Whatever happens next is well up in the air.

I think it be funny if the two started dating but didn't try to hide it all that much and autobots don't pick it up untill after like final battle of the war where Bee or Optimus borderline make out in the battle field.

I dunno I just enjoy the trope where two people are dating without hiding it but people around them think they are oblivious to each other feelings or don't notice it untill it's spelled out to them.

But yeah :D
