Cleaning and listening to Red TV and I think as a fandom we got over "some actress asking me what happened" and the fact that it was apparently JENNIFER ANNISTON jklahsgehas (I forgot where I read that...)
Like why is that so damn funny, "some actress" 😭
i don't know if that was confirmed... but regardless of who it was, it totally captures how heartbreak just blinded her to anything/anyone else - also depicted in the moment i knew! didn't we learn austin surprised her at the party? imagine how awful it must have been for her to feel disappointed that her beloved brother showed up but the man she thought was her twin flame didn't
Still think about that (tweet?) post about The Moment I Knew that claimed the song fit their life but it was their wedding day rather than a birthday party. I think about that every time I hear TMIK
my question is. what do you say when tears are streaming down your face in front of everyone you know. and what do you do when the one who means the most to you is the one who didn't show
we all talk a lot about how jake didn’t show up at taylor’s party , which is obviously a big deal, but the thing that gets me the most is the fact the he called her afterwards and was like “oh sorry i didn’t make it” like??? he didn’t give her a reason (but she found out later ig) or even a proper apology, NOTHING!!! i feel like as a community we let that slide too easily
I would literally go to the mat(tress) for “Better Than Revenge” because of its importance within the story arc of the album Speak Now and within Taylor’s discography as a whole.
my Swiftie hot take today is that Back to December is simply not a December song. it's specifically about December being a few months in the past! "when your birthday passed and I didn't call" is February! it could even be a spring song... I just do not experience the feeling of "it's December, time to listen to Back to December"
