We have finally progressed to the real knife. Yay!!
.
We have been using the kiddy knife for quite a while, but since he cut himself once when he was using the wavy chopper, I was very reluctant to let him use a real knife until I saw a post from @angeline_kyan’s feed. She suggested that the little one can use a wooden spoon to hold the vegetables instead of using the hand.
.
This way makes me feeling much safer when watching him chopping. After quite a few practice with the wooden spoon, now he has already known that he needs to move his hand further while cutting. He only needs to use the wooden spoon at the last bit. 😂😂
.
Thank you, Angeline!! 😘

We had some natural painting out in our backyard yesterday.
.
Mr 3 isn’t a big fan to painting, so currently I am trying various ways to raise his interest to arts.

Have you ever been chip-blocked by your child?

I tried to get some chips without my children noticing. As soon as I put my hand on the chip container, here comes my children. I decided to play it cool and act like I was going to get my water bottle. I take a swig of my water. The bland taste of water is just a reminder that I have failed to stand up to tiny humans that I have helped create.

Are people my age still on Tumblr?
Oh well, here I am.
I have scoured social media for a community of like-minded people and, despite there being millions of human beings on this planet, I am struggling.
As my username and page description suggests - I am married to a Deputy. Our daughter is three, and I’m fairly certain her one goal in life is to be the next Meryl Streep, she is quite the little actress.
I love Fallout and The Sims - University, am I right? Tiny Living, can’t freakin’ wait.
I have recently become very interested in Japanese culture, I stumbled across a couple of vloggers and have gotten completely hooked.

We aren’t particularly religious - which I think is a huge contributing factor in the lack of community issues I’ve been having. I’m not against religion, but I don’t want to use it as a way to… cope (maybe the wrong word)… with my position in life. I don’t feel a bond to religion. I feel immediately disconnected when I see prayers overlaying pretty, feminine, thin blue line artwork.
Reddit is cool - but the anonymity can be kind of intimidating and the LeoWife subreddit is slow as molasses.
Speaking of intimidating - I have social anxiety. I was diagnosed as a teenager (ah, high school) and as I’ve gotten older it’s gotten so much better but I don’t push to engage in social activities. I enjoy being at home. I enjoy re-charging. I enjoy binging on YouTube videos and just chilling with my kid.

Anyway. I kind of lost myself while my husband was in the academy and am just started to try to re-identify with who I am and what my interests are. I got really caught up in the “influencer influence” and found myself wanting our home to be farmhouse chic and wanting to wear clothes that were uncomfortable and go on trendy diets. When in reality, I love our giant Pulp Fiction canvas print and our records and our games and Pokemon and cutesy decor. I love black. I love my thick eyeliner and dressing my toddler in band tees to match me.

And, I hate cooking. I said it. My husband loves cooking. I hate it. I would rather do the dishes.

I am really hopeful that Tumblr will have what I’m looking for. I’m not JUST a LEOW, I don’t JUST want to talk about how that impacts my life - although I would love to be a resource or friend to any spouse who needs one! I want to learn more about different cultures, talk about cool CC for The Sims, connect with other people who have anxiety or who are parents.

Time to explore!

Lower Elementary - Fractions

These first level students are working together to experience the size of fractions from a whole to 1/10. Reading and labeling fractions are important first steps for children before they begin the four operations with like denominators.

Six of Crows as toddlers, Part 1

Kaz: He would seem all nice and sweet, but the second you turn away, he’d somehow be in that closet where he wasn’t aloud in. Kaz was a very intelligent little boy, and even then knew how to deal with people.

Inej: She loved heights. Even though she loved all the hugs from her family, she always found a way to be far away from the ground. Normally, you’d find her on the laundry line until her parents found her.
