New Freeguild Steelhelms give me some big Ankh-Morpork City Watch vibes. Like even just the humans already feel like a very motley crew.

Like, I could very easily make a City Watch army or at least a Warcry team. An Ironbreaker for Cheery, a Troggoth for Detritus, and boom, City watch.

A post of things I have painted recently! A beastlord (test for a beastmen army I'm planning for the Old World), a Bronze Age-inspired Wight King kitbash (was also a test for the Old World, the helmet is based on the Veksø Helmets), and the Horns of Hashut, who I've had sitting around half-finished for about a year and got motivated to paint while I'm between assessments.

Based the Jade Obelisk Warcry band I painted last year! Adding little details to bases is fun :)

Sand to match the rest of the Tzeentch units, with lumps of 'jade' for their particular vibe.

New Warcry warband! I painted up the Horns of Hashut, and they got in their first battle against the Corvus Cabal. It was fun experimenting with new metallics for the copper, and a scheme that's outside of my normal wheelhouse.

Hello again, Tumblr mutuals, I have taken the plunge into Age of Sigmar and I gotta say: I love how wacky this setting can be. Anyway, I picked up a box of Orruk Ardboyz, and painted them up all nice! C&C are appreciated as always.

Skargrog and his boyz were following in the trail of Gordrakk's destruction. But as they were crossing the lands of Ghur, they stumbled across a more esoteric realmgate in a bog, and as they were sucked into the murky waters and mud of the bog, they soon found themselves washed up on the beaches of Shyish. In an unfamiliar land and away from their WAAAGH, Skargrog and his boyz have had to carve out a living in the land of the Dead, raiding small villages and graveyards. Fighting off their enemies with skirmish and cunning tactics, Skargrog and his boyz eek out what they can in order to survive and hopefully find a way back to Ghur.

Not much lore, but it's a nice start. Here's hoping I can find a group that plays Warcry where I live TwT
