Yamiko: I doubt either of us have sufficient experience to deal with raising a mid-teenage girl, but nevertheless I greatly appreciate your offer, Angela. It means a lot to me. If ever you need the same help from me in raising Space and Time, I’d always be glad to assist.

Yamiko: These are windows, they let me peer into the inner workings of existence, they just so happen to be trained upon you and this new, strange condition of yours.
Galya: What... but, how are you able to do this...?

Yamiko: I prefer Edare nowadays, and while in this form I go by Yamiko. Your reverence is appreciated, but not entirely necessary.

Galya: But, you have these, windows, right? Don’t they show you how it’s supposed to work?
Yamiko: Yes, but there’s only so much that I’m able to parse from what these windows show me. And sometimes what they show me is not obvious until I see it demonstrated in action, as is the case with your vampirism.
Galya: Then, what do you think we should do?
Yamiko: I do have one thing in mind... What are your thoughts on Saturnalia?

Galya: What, information could you possibly glean, about vampires, from a single strand of hair...?
Yamiko: You’d be very surprised, Galya.

Yamiko: I see other references here... sulfur, silver... something else that inflicts Pressure and some sort of inversion of Clear Body, and another that seems to cause HP to drastically fall on exposure... These could be things deemed as downsides to this “vampirism,” though I can’t immediately discern to what extent. Though, they must be, why else would it be considered a curse?

Yamiko: From the shape of the injury, it’s consistent with a bite, but it must not have been anything like any of the Bite or Fang moves used in combat... and it definitely couldn’t have been an item, because the only items that were used on or by Galya that night were the protection, Oran berries, a dagger made of Skarmory down, and the Revive crystal I administered.
Hmm... a perplexing development...

Do not mistake hate for anger, as anger can be used for constructive purposes, as one might persist onward to spite those that might mock them. Hate is only used to destroy and harm, and cannot have a place within your mind if you wish to travel the path of enlightenment. If someone has taught you otherwise, they are not on the path of enlightenment, and seek to pull you into Naraka with them.
Hate does have its place, however: only in the instance that hate is directed towards you and you must righteously defend yourself or those that you love, but beware of hatred’s pull. You must always be mindful of hate’s destructive nature; harming another will bring catharsis, but it is hollow, and will leave you empty, with another emotion in its place. Whether it be sorrow for bringing destruction, or yet more hate towards another, that is something that can only be determined by hatred’s chaotic and destructive whims.
Tolerance of hatred is itself hatred, though much less direct. If you abide by someone who is hateful, are you not implicit in their hatred? It might not cross your mind if you are not the target of their hatred, but nonetheless you must fight that hatred, root it out that it might never fester within yourself or the community you love. Else it might implode and destroy itself, as is hatred’s nature.
We are born from the ashes of what came before, so too shall we become ash to cultivate what will come next. When the end will come cannot be known, only that it will come; so why spend your time on this earth with hatred and destruction, when there are better things to devote your time to? Why spend your time pushing someone else down, when you could just as easily uplift those around you, as they might do in turn?
This is the path of enlightenment. We are all bound to samsara, and spending our time destroying others out of hatred is the path to Naraka. Love one another, even if you do not understand. Trans rights are human rights. Namaste.

Kara: Wh-where am I...? Is this your house?
Yamiko: Of a sort. It’s more for pilgrims and travellers who’ve sought me out and need to rest, like you have. You still need to heal, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still grow stronger.
Kara: Wh- uh... what do you mean by that?

Yamiko: The only exception so far has been Galya’s injury. The code around it has been highly obfuscated. I can’t exactly discern its nature as easily as the code written by hand, but given enough time I should be able to understand it clearly.

Yamiko: At least until I can trust you truly do not act on behalf of the Family here. Am I clear on this?
Viris: ...Yes.
Yamiko: Good. Thank you, Viris. That is all.

Kara: W-wait... Zaher? Imikhet-Horakhem? He’s here?!
Yamiko: Yes... why, do you know him?
Kara: E-er... n-not personally. I only know of him from, uh, the other servants, and some of the officers. Al-Nahlo is in open conflict with Apennia over the Matron’s use of servants and Zaher was the one who pushed the Pharaoh towards it...
Yamiko: Well, perhaps you could still meet him, he seems a reasonable fellow in any case. He’s downstairs, though I believe he’s still asleep. I can accompany you as well, if that would make you feel safer.
Kara: No, that’s fine! You should work on breakfast, I’m kinda hungry...
