Dietro la luce fendente di un flash.

Dietro a quei flash ci sono io, con il mio contrapposto perché. Sono divenuto attore, come uno preso dalla strada, il successo me lo sono costruito, caparbiamente, ma senza nulla a pretendere, e così il successo, mi è piombato addosso. A me, Marcello, simbolo di maschio italiano, incarnazione del good man da ammirare, da divizzare. Certo, Il gioco si fa comodo e divertente, adulatore, per quella certa puttaneria che il mestiere ti richiede ma, faccio sempre i conti con quella parte di me che mette in discussione la mia bravura, la mia discrezione. Come tutti ho fatto i conti con la paura, la stessa che ha governato certe mie eterne insicurezze. Dietro la faccia del successo, alla luce fendente di un flash, resta l'uomo con la sua umanità più poveramente ricca di ogni vizio e virtù, resta l'anti-divo, l'essenzialità, l'indolente, il furbo, il languido vigliacco in cerca di protezione.

Assurdo pensare che un attore faccia di tutto per diventare famoso e poi, indossare un paio di occhiali da sole per nascondersi, con l'illusione di proteggersi.

Ma è proprio questo che mi accade, anche sotto la luce di un flash, capace di amplificare, adulare e trasgredire, mettere in mostra e tradire. Tutto questo è parte di un gioco che ho scelto, le cui regole a volte sono state pesanti da digerire, e allora gioco nel mio stile, in rimessa, in dolcezza, in difesa, in tolleranza, in bellezza.
