In Shigaraki's psyche, Izuku saw a memory that's neither his nor Shigaraki's, and that memory is actually AFO's.
It's from 1st person point of view, in there, AFO seems to be acquainted with Shigaraki's Father, and AFO apparently worked in construction in Koga city (idk what 甲賀建設 Exactly means, but 建設 means construction or establishment, and 甲賀 is a city in Shiga Prefecture, and it's pretty close to Shizuoka Prefecture, where Izuku&his mom live)
Then AFO invited Shigaraki's Father over a drink, and asked about Shigaraki's quirk, to which his father said it still hasn't appeared/identified yet
You know what this means???
AFO must've LIVED A NORMAL LIVE sometimes to get acquainted with Shigaraki's Father while also monitor him!! Due to his connection with Nana.
And AFO asking about Shigaraki's quirk can either means he's monitoring if "Decay" has developed OR if Shigaraki can be GIVEN "Decay" later on.
This might also indicate that AFO also acquainted with Shimura household as a normal person, and if this shadowed figure with suits whom looked like AFO is indeed AFO, then it must've been like a family friend escorting the son back home
Anyway, AFO finally came out of Shigaraki's suppression, now we can see some Izuku and AFO interaction and maybe a confirmation about the validity of DFO theory!!!!
*it's also suspicious Izuku still DIDN'T GET TO SEE AFO's full face even from AFO's memory
**out of context, but AFO in his memory asked if Shigaraki's father had a lower back pain, and offered to introduce him to a good doctor, and i can't help but think "lol, it's just gonna be dr. Garaki isn't it? And he probably gonna order Garaki to do something to the only son of Nana" and the fact that AFO spoke to Shigaraki's Father SO POLITELY/using keigo (敬語) is weirdly nice, I'd like to see him speaks normally FULL FACE
***the irony of the villain who wrecked havoc in the country, might also once worked in construction of all places. Though it can be reasoned with "in order to destroy thoroughly, one must know how to built"

A redraw of this old piece, I always wanted to remake it as while I liked how the boys looked, I hated how Hisashi came out lol
For those who don't know; it's a scene from Family Secrets, chapter 19. I decided to include it below for more context:
Suddenly, there is a harsh knock on the door, making them all jump in surprise. Touya felt his stomach turn into anxious knots, and he watches Inko get up and head to the door cautiously. His heart dropped to his stomach as he saw who was at the door.
It was father.
“uhm, E-Endeavor-san! What brings you here?”
The man just pushes past Inko, aiming his clearly furious look at Touya, who kind of wants to disappear underground now.
“What are you doing boy? You missed your training routine for today!”
“I…m-mum said….”
“She should not be meddling into your business. Her task is to take care of the rest of them.”
Touya felt his entire body shake, and he really wanted to run or hide, but knew he couldn’t. Suddenly, Tenko who’d been sitting behind him shifts, hopping off the bench to walk between them. Touya looks at him with widened eyes, as the boy looks up at his father with a determined look. He was shaking still, clearly scared, but…
“Touya should be allowed to come see his friends!”
“During his free time, today he had important things to attend to.”
Tenko was clearly scared, but he refused to budge, and it was kind of impressive. His baby brother had started to cry a little, and Inko quickly rushes to soothe the unnerved baby. Touya felt really bad, and he was mad at his father for being so rude.
“Seeing friends is important!”
“Stay out of adult’s business, brat. This has nothing to do with you.”
“You’re a rude, big, mean, dummy looking candle mustache man!”
Tenko actually yells at him, surprising both Endeavor and the boy’s mum. Touya could tell his father was rather annoyed by that comment, and he slips out of the chair, ready to step in between if he had to. Tenko should not get hurt because of him. Something told Touya he’d already been hurt in the past, he didn’t deserve more of it.
Before anything bad could happen however, a figure appears on the doorway, and a calm voice cuts through the tension in the room.
“Endeavor. What brings you here?”
Touya breathes a sigh of relief, as his father’s attention is diverted from Tenko, and he pushes the confused boy behind him.
“Don’t do that. father could’ve hurt you.”
“He was being mean to you!”
“It’s okay, I’m used to it.”
“It’s not okay!”
Tenko insists quietly, still sending his father a stinky look.
He was now completely focused on Hisashi-san, who’d stepped in, closing the door behind himself calmly, before putting away his coat.
“Touya has no business being here today. Rei shouldn’t have allowed him to go.”
Hisashi-san hums, slowly turning to look at them. Touya could see his gaze go from his father to them, and then up to Inko who was still holding crying Izuku in her arms, trying to soothe the startled baby. He could feel the atmosphere around Hisashi-san change, and Touya swallows down, as the sensation from the hospital that day returns.
“……Since you took your time to find out where I live, I assume you could’ve just found out our house number and called us. Why bother coming all the way here?”
“Because if I don’t pick the boy up personally, he’ll just start slacking off more.”
Touya watches with bated breath, as Hisashi-san walks past his father calmly, turning on the coffeemaker to make himself a cup. As the machine starts to make noise, he turns back to face the flame hero, and it was so weird for Touya.
He’d never seen anyone face his dad so calmly.
Hisashi-san was shorter and less built, but yet…he wasn’t scared one bit.
“Some say ambition can make you blind. I can tell.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
Hisashi-san just chuckles for a bit, before pacing between them. Touya watches in surprise, noting his father had taken an actual step back. if he noticed it himself, the boy wasn’t sure. The fact he had done it showed just how scary Hisashi-san’s aura was right now.
“We’ll bring Touya home in due time. Right now, I must kindly request you to leave. You’ve already scared my poor children enough.”
Endeavor snorts, crossing his arms as he glances at Tenko. The boy glares back at him, though he was hiding behind Touya somewhat now, clutching onto the boy’s arm.
He was clearly scared but tried to be brave.
“Your elder son needs to be taught better manners, that’s for sure.”
Touya watches Hisashi-san breathe in and out slowly, making him wonder if he was holding something back. Once his eyes open again, they were very narrowed, and the expression made Touya shudder too, swallowing down hard again. It was so scary, like some super-villain from the comics they’d read with Tenko.
“Let me ask you again, Endeavor. Get out of my house.”

Okay, hear me out, I totally understand that sick and twisted DFO would totally be canon if the theory pans out. And don't get me wrong I love that, truly, it's one of his ehm many quirks.
But just, ugh, the idea that AFO genuinely loves Izuku in a not just possessive "you are part of me" but also in a "I will burn everything down just to see you smile" way.
Like big bad, supervillain who has zero moral code, kept every single baby book, toy, and article of clothing Izuku had throughout his childhood. This man has a container of baby teeth in a pretty little jar and all of his underlings think it's from one of his enemies, no it's from AFO's hero son. This man is a hoarder!!! I mean people have been building this head canon for years, but instead of hoarding jewels and pretty things, he hoards photocopies of every analysis Izuku has even written, Izuku's favorite stuffed animals and his baby blanket that are so tattered and loved that people think they're from HIS childhood.
LIKE PLEASE.
The idea that baby Izu nearly saved the world because his father almost gave up on villainy. It makes me sob!!!!
Baby Izu bringing home injured animals off the side of the street and DFO miraculously healing them to make Izuku happy. Then proceeding to do that years later when he sees an injured bird or something, because he misses his son.
Like you know how parents always talk about how they'll never see their kids as anything but their babies. That they just never truly grow up. THAT is AFO coded to me. Like he comes back from being abroad and is absolutely aghast when he finds out Izuku doesn't sleep with his stuffed rabbit anymore. He keeps the damn ugly rabbit around just in case Izuku gets a nightmare but will cut your throat out if you look at him the wrong way.
The idea that he left to protect his son is great, amazing, spectacular.
But him leaving because Izuku was making him weak kills me too. That after 200 years of stubbornly fighting for world domination and your toddler babbles about how much of a great Papa you are, and you question whether any of it is worth it.
The idea that Izuku could grow to become AFO's Jiminy Cricket, his little heart that forces him onto a straight path. Or even that AFO would throw everything away for his heroic son without hesitation.
Or that this man is so grief stricken but not just losing his brother for good but knowing that he'll never be able to go back to his family. That Izuku is his nemesis' successor, and they are sworn enemies as a result.
OR GOD FORBID, HE DIES OFFICIALLY BECAUSE HE COULD NEVER KILL HIS BABY!!
