Jangle The Jingles | Skiico
Merry Christmas everybody!
"This is Christmas Goose, come in Giblets," said Skipper over a walkie talkie while spying out a nearby fish market in the middle of Manhattan, frosty binoculars pressed to his face.
"Please tell me that's not me..." Kowalski responded weakly, sounding as if he was rolling his eyes.
Skipper glanced at Rico beside him with a smile, "returning to home base with the packages soon, things looking good there?"
This time Private picked up chirping, "everything's alright here, Skippah!"
"Then Rico and I will be coming home for Christmas!" Tucking the walkie away Skipper breathed the crisp air, feeling it chill his insides. "You ready amigo?" Asked Skipper, a gingerly placed flipper on his soldier's shoulder.
Rico nodded excitingly before spewing out a plunger, fine rope and two wire coat hangers. Attaching the sting to the plunger he threw it strongly across the street, hearing soon the satisfying sound of it suctioning to a lower window from where they were sat upon a high rooftop.
Skipper gripped his hanger, ready to ride down but a swell of pride kept him back for a moment to say "good work Rico, let's move."
Sliding smoothly down the line Skipper felt the cold wind nip at him, yet the rushing winds were nothing less than exciting he thought as they hit the ground, ducking swiftly for cover behind a dimly lit street pole decorated in garland. "Alright compadre, you go for the albacore and snapper on the left. I'll take the catfish and salmon. Meet back in that alleyway," Skipper ordered sternly, pointing at a nearby alleyway a little ways down the road and past all the bustling people out on the night before Christmas.
Giving a single nod of acknowledgement Rico darted away, already on task while Skipper stood there, staring after him as if he wasn't expecting Rico to leave him so quickly. When he was out of sight something stung deep within Skipper, something that was telling him he shouldn't have let him go but rather should have went with him. It almost felt as if he was longing to stick by his lieutenant for just a moment longer or if he had forgotten something important. But it didn't matter right now, he had a mission at hand to deal with first.
He sighed and took a breath before turning around to see where his target's locations were, and soon enough he spotted the fattest load of catfish and salmon he'd ever seen! Tis the season he supposed. The issue was finding a safe way to acquire them when they were so crowded by last minute shopping New Yorkers, they were always a troublesome bunch. Yet when Skipper's eye caught the sight of a fishing pole laying around the back of the market he instantly knew what his next move was.
It was time to go fishing.
After he had that snagging just two fish was a piece of pie, but while he sat there those unforeseen emotions kept sneaking back to spite him. Where was Rico? Was he having trouble? Is he waiting for me? That one stuck, Skipper sure hoped so. Just the thought suddenly made his heart pound soundly underneath his thick feathered chest, the glint of cheery expectation written in the swirls of his blue shimmering irises.
What was this feeling that was driving him so mad? It came from absolutely nowhere and yet it was already so strong, as if it had been planted in him for a long time now. Maybe it had been. Or maybe it was just because Rico wasn't here right now. Either way, he needed to figure this out before it consumed him completely. it was Christmas after all, he didn't have time for last minute dilly dally!
When he finally did make his way back to the alleyway the sun had nearly fully set, the sky filled with streaks of brilliant scarlet, orange and pink mixed together into beautiful swirls. There was still a light lingering above the rooftops and skylines, like a firefly dancing among the clouds. And despite how cold Skipper was he couldn't help but feel warmed by its gentle glow.
"Rico?" He called quietly when he got to the end of the alleyway, but no answer came. His heart sunk. Had Rico really gone home already? Without him? That didn't seem right, especially for his most trusted solider to leave him alone like this; on Christmas eve of all days...
Suddenly toasty flippers wrapped around Skipper's torso from behind, a warm surface pressing into his back and reaching over his head. Skipper jolted straight up in attention, his eyes wide with shock when they locked with ones he knew all too well just above him.
He dropped the fish he was carrying to the snow sprinkled ground, his wing tips finding their own way to rest upon his captors who was embracing him quite comfortably. Multi colored lights glowed down on them from practically every direction as snowflakes whirled around the two as if encasing them in their own little world; their own moment.
Rico huffed hot air that ran down Skipper's neck and washed the older penguins frosted cheek feathers dry. It was so warm now that it made Skipper's head fuzzy and his stomach bloom with overwhelming butterflies; what was this feeling that he was feeling? It kept growing every time he noticed how the lights and darkening sky reflected so perfectly off Rico's baby blue eyes, making his cheeks flush when he found how close they really were and how they were only an inch apart from connecting chilled beaks.
"Rico..." He whispered in a wanting voice, his heart so filled with joy that it was difficult not to smile when he was being serious.
Rico's cheeks flared in color at the wonderus sound, his mind taking flight as he closed the distance between their mouths, turning his head to deepen the kiss. Neither of them could describe how it truly felt, but it was simply wonderful. It seemed as though the very Christmas spirit itself was flowing through both of them, that same gingerbready feeling coursing through their veins as suddenly things tasted like figgy putting.
Skipper squeezed tighter as he quickly inhaled through his nose, not wishing just yet to end what they were sharing. Yet Rico pulled away first, a passion clearly seen his is adoring eyes and the biggest and goofiest smile painted all over him Skipper had ever seen. "M-merry Christmas," Skipper chuckled weakly as he turned in Rico's grip to face him, his entire being still burning with intense heat.
Rico quickly stole another peck before backing off and unexpectedly kneeling to the ice cold ground, pulling out a small box from his gullet as another gust of light snow blew over them.
Skipper's breath hitched at the sight. This was the first time they'd ever expressed that kind of emotion to one another and he was purposing already!?
Taking the box as steadily as he could Skipper tried to hold back a grimace, what was he going to say after he opened this? He hadn't a clue but either way he decided to open it with stupidly shut eyes. Yet when he opened it his pupils widened in surprise, he didn't see what he expected, in fact a single mistletoe was the last thing he expected. Yet what did this mean? Surely Rico didn't just think giving his leader a mistletoe was a great gift idea, he knew him much better then that.
Rico gingerly grabbed it from him as if reading his mind, and lifted it above both their heads with a little shake. He seemed calm, not the usual psycho Skipper was use to, but it was nice, like he had thought all this through beforehand.
Then it hit Skipper as he was staring at it curiously; Rico wasn't purposing marriage but a new relationship. A lover perhaps Skipper thought, and that sounded...very nice. "Compadre, I knew you were crazy about love, but I didn't know you were THIS crazy." A sly smirk slipped over his features and Skipper seductively wrapped his flippers around Rico's neck slowly. "I like it~" Skipper fished and with all his strength quickly forced Rico down into a dip, crashing their beaks together so passionately Rico groaned into the kiss while enveloped in each other's soothing warmth.
Now they had returned home flipper in flipper and gathered around the table, Skipper at the head raising his mug full of eggnog. "Merry Christmas boys!" He cheered as they all clashed cups, the tops of their beverages foaming over. The compost fire burned with crackling sounds as the ice sculpture tree slowly melted, leaving a small puddle on the floor under it.
Skipper chugged down a few drinks and afterwards licked the edges of his beak, glancing around the table at each happy face; Kowalski blabbering on about something Skipper couldn't quite hear right now and Private watching adoringly as always, Rico simply focusing on the plate of grilled fish in front of him. Yet the more he zoned off the more his eyes unexpectedly drifted towards the labs door, and Skipper was surprised to see the very mistletoe he kissed just a half a hour ago under hung neatly on the trim above.
Maybe there was something to this whole Christmas couple tradition after all, and that only had Skipper thinking if there was anything more then just a smooching plant. Maybe, but if there was he intended to find it; and if not? Well, he could always make one up for the sake of Christmas companionship and a little more then a kiss.
Because now, all he wants for Christmas is Rico.

Vibe: After yesterday feeling weirdly bad, it's a perk for today to feel weirdly good. Even though arguably today was 9 times more stressful. I'm striking down problems and avoiding fucking it all up. Aka, getting more flexible in life.
It's not about compatibility, it's about how you react to it.
Worked my actual ass off today so will do a list:
Reading: Finished "The Defining Decade", quotes list to come. And am about to finish "Really, Good, Actually". Loved both.
Writing: Here, edited some passages in my notes app
Cooking: Had some overnight oats, a paleo key lime cup, and an albacore roll from Whole Foods. Mmmmm. Overpriced but so good.
Political Awareness: Anti-semitism is crazy rampant during the Isreal/Hamas conflict and it makes my blood run cold.
Survived: Fraud on my Etsy account, shin splints, chapped lips
Yoga: Beginner ab exercises, will follow up with another before bed
Meditation: How the people who support us are the real MVPs
Cardio: Ran a mile on my shin splint, probabllllly should have kept resting, but didn't want to get out of practice.

Today I woke up around 10:30 AM. I slept around 4 the night before so I got around 6 hours of rest. I immediately had some fun with a couple of friends by going to the gym. We targeted legs today and it was very tiring but extremely fun because I got to go to the gym for the first time in a long time. My family came over from home and I got Sugarfish with them, which consisted of salmon and albacore sashimi and a crab hand roll. Those rolls and sashimi were so good. It was one of my favorite meals I have had in a while. After that, I went back to campus to grab some dinner with some friends. I then went out with a friend to go to Santa Monica Pier. That was really fun because we had a lot of trouble coordinating bus rides, so it was cool bonding with my friend over our confusion. After we got back to the dorm I ate some California Chicken Cafe that I had picked and rested a bit until I went to do some work done with friends. Overall, I had a fantastic day today and I am looking forward to having more fun tomorrow!

How to get abs at home without equipment
The most important thing you need to know about getting abs is that “Abs are made in the kitchen”. This quote means that when you start your abs journey, your main focus should be on your diet. Controlling your diet is the most important thing when it comes to making abs. You should eat in a calorie deficit of at least 500 calories. Reduce 500 calories from your daily diet. Eating in a calorie deficit would reduce the fat layer on your stomach and make the abs look more defined. People who tend to have lower body fat percentages, usually have an appearance of defined abdominal muscle. Not only your diet, but your workout also matters when you are looking for a great abs definition. Both your diet and workout will give you desirable results.
What should you eat to get abs?
Now you know that you have to eat in a calorie deficit to get abs. But, the important question is what you should eat. So, your diet should include fruits, vegetables, lean protein, unrefined carbohydrates, and healthy fats. And, try to consume as little as junk food as possible while you are on your journey.
You can consume any type of fruit or vegetable you like. And, for lean protein, try eating greek yoghurt, beans, peas, lentils, white meat, poultry, cottage cheese, fish (white fleshed), peanut butter, lean beef, etc. Next for unrefined carbohydrates, you can have whole wheat/multigrain bread, brown rice, barley, quinoa, bran cereal, oatmeal, etc. Now, for healthy fats, you can eat fish (salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines, and albacore tuna), seeds (chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, etc), olive oil, beans, eggs, nuts, etc.
So, including the foods mentioned above, abs get faster and more defined.
What workout should I do to get abs at home?
Now, let’s talk about the workout plan. There are a lot of exercises that you can do in order to get abs. But, the most important thing to keep in mind when you are following an abs workout is that you should focus on increasing the reputation and the sets of the exercise. Increasing the reps would help you to get abs faster because the abdominal muscles are made up of slow twitch muscle fibers, and these muscles best react to low weight and high repetition. But, the abdominal muscles also consist of fast twitch muscle fibres and these muscle fibres react, best to heavy weight and low repetitions.
So, if you are a beginner, try to increase your reps more than the weight. Because increasing the weight would make it a lot more difficult for you to work out and get abs at home.
To get abs at home, you should follow the exercises given below:
1.Planks
Plank helps to strengthen the core and improves posture. This exercise targets abdominal muscles.
Keep your palms, knees and feets on the ground.
Now lay down on your stomach and stretch your legs.
Straighten your legs so your knees come off the floor and your body is in a straight line from the back of your head to the back of your heels.
Hold this position for 45 seconds and then you can bring you knees down
Repeat 3 sets of 45 seconds.
2.Crunches
This exercise helps to squeeze your abs. And also helps to engage the core.
Lay down on your back. And then fold your knees.
Put the palm of your hands behind your head.
Straighten your neck. Now, with the help of your abs, try to roll your head, shoulders, neck up.
Now as you go up, try to exhale and squeeze your abs.
Then come back down while inhaling.
Repeat this exercise 30 times and do 3 sets.
3. Bicycle crunches
This exercise helps to define the abs and initiate a great burn in them.
Lay on your back. Raise your legs in the middle of the air. Make sure that it is not too high and not too low.
Put the palm of your hands behind your head, straighten your neck.
Now using abs, bring both the alternative knee and elbow close to each other. If you are doing this with your right leg, make sure that the left leg is straight at 45° angle.
Then do the same with the left leg. In this process, try squeezing your abs.
Keep inhaling and exhaling during this whole process.
Repeat the exercise 20 times and do three sets.
4. Russian twists
This exercise basically focuses on oblique muscles. This exercise will help you to reduce your side fat.
Sit on your hips. Take your legs up at 45 degrees. Leave your legs up.
Join the palm of your hands and tap down your hands on the side of the ground near your hips.
In this process, try squeezing your side muscles.
Exhale and inhale during the whole process.
Repeat this exercise 20 times and do 3 sets.
5. Mountain climbers
This exercise will help you work your lower abs.
Get up in a plank position.
Tight your core, fold your knee and bring it in between your elbows.
Jump and change the leg.
Repeat it 20 times each side and do 3 sets.
6. Windshield wipers
This exercise will help you to tone your lower belly and side lower fat.
Lay on your back and make T with your arm.
Now lift your legs off the ground and make a tabletop position and legs should be parallel to the ground.
Rotate your hips to one side without letting your feets touch the ground.
Then lift your legs again to the top and repeat this on the other side.
Do it 20 times each side and do three sets.
7.Hip dips
This workout will help you to make your waist ting abs tight.
Get up in a plank position. Now just touch your elbows to the ground and make a 90° angle with your arms.
Without moving your upper body, twist your hip area to the right side. Bring it back up and repeat it with the left side.
Repeat it 20 times and do 2 sets.
8.V up
With the help of this exercise, you will get a very defined abdominal muscles shape.
Lay on your back. Left your upper body and lower body at the same time making a V shape with your body.
While lifting your body in a V shape, use all the power of your abs.
After you lift your body come back down and this will count as one rep.
You can do this access 10 times and can do 2 sets.
Follow the diet and workout plan given above to get abs at home. And, the workout plan given above can be done 5 to 6 times a week.

Hello you mrs. sushi eater sake drinker honey nut cheerio lefty eyebag 😌
I hope so too, if not I will cancel 2023 hahahaha so far so good, except for me being very tired. I don't know why the last week has really been draining my energy.
Yes, I work today but only til 6. My friends are coming over around 7ish, so we will be enjoying ourselves by then 😁 I did try a shot last night though.. I may have made it too strong 😅
Ooh definitely sounds like a good day for you yesterday. What is your favorite kind of sushi and ramen? Also what kind of sake is it? I wanna try it because I haven't had sake before.
When you say coffee from your sister, is it a brand that you can't find in the stores?
Nooo I haven't yet and I keep seeing gifs on tumblr about it. Maybe next day off I will go to the movies to watch it. Or get the DVD. I'm going to make a list now of what movies I need to watch this year.
I think that's why I didn't like her hairstyle, because you can definitely tell that it's a wig. Either it looked to big or it was too square lol I like her hair in endgame, where it was reddish and white, and she always had braids on.
Hm I don't think I know any movies either that remind me of my highschool. My life wasn't cool like the ones in the movies... it's cooler. Ahahahaha just kidding 😂
Okay, I don't think I have any more movie questions.
So let's do holiday questions. I don't have to ask what your favorite is since we already know that. What's your least favorite holiday?
-CuriousGeorge
Hiii corn-punn jello shot maker cool kid in highschool righty eyebag.😅
How r u? How was ur day? I got home from texas like around 8.30pm. Now im laying down in bed.hahaha.
I hope u feel better n not feeling drained anymore.. been having fun with ur friends? Ouuh i wanna try ur jello shots if it's strong.lol.
I mostly eat sushi n rarely eat sushi rolls. My favorite sushi r bluefin toro sushi (fatty part of blue fin tuna), albacore belly sushi, amaebi/sweet shrimp and uni /sea urchin sushi with quail egg, also inari (sweet bean curd sushi) 😁 what about urs?
For ramen i usually like the clear broth ramen such as soy ramen. Sometimes i like thick pork broth ramen. I love them spicy with extra hot in temperature. I also like the tsukemen (dipping ramen) n i love them better if they have it with a perfectly cooked marinated soft boiled egg. What about urs?
I dont know what kind of sake it is. I forgot to check the bottle.. all i remember is the bottle is black. 😅
U should try sake.. Try Kikusui sake. It's smooth. I also like Nigori sake. This is one is milky n sweet. N i think another brand i like is Hana Sake but the apple flavor.
Have u try plum wine? It's really good too.. it's sweet. Or try Plum Wine Cooler, so it's a mix of plum wine with seltzer water n lemon juice.. or u can add sprite to it too. (Thats how the sushi restaurant where i used to work make it)
When i said coffee from indonesia, so i meant the coffee that was grown there. They smell really good. Indonesia produce quite a lot n very good coffee.
No no, the movie Glass Onion is not on theater anymore. U can watch it in netflix.
Yeah true, her hair on iron man 2 obviously look like wig n the curls r to weird for me.. but she is still hot no matter what.hahah. i like her hair in endgame too. I guess, im a sucker for redhaired women,😅
I dont know if valentines day is a holiday but im not a big fan of it. I dont know why. 😅 i meant if my partner want to celeebrate it with me, it's great n i will gladly celebrate it. But if not, i dont mind either.haha. what about u?
Next question?
Cheerio!
